"Homophobic." || Hoseok/J-Hope ||

(A/n: Thank you so much for 32k reads! I'm so glad you guys are enjoying this book! Also, I know that the music up above in the media doesn't always correspond with the chapters, I apologize for that, but BTS makes great music, so it's okay! I hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful day/night! ☀️🌈💕✨)

Trigger warning: Negative self-thinking and mentions homophobia. I know we've all probably thought negatively about ourselves once or twice, or maybe every day, but please remember, we are all different from one another and that's perfectly okay! You are you, nobody else.

M/N's P.O.V

'You can't do anything right, can you?!' I thought as tears filled my (e/c) eyes. I desperately attempted to hold them back, but each and every negative thought that filled my brain only made it harder and harder to hold them back. "I'm such an idiot..." I hoarsely mumbled. My voice slightly muffled by the pastel pink blanket, I had wrapped myself in as I laid down on my queen-sized bed, that I shared with Hoseok.

"(M/n)?" A soft voice asked me as the familiar loud creaking of our white bedroom door filled the silent room along with my slight sniffles, from time to time. "Angel, are you okay?" His gentle yet somewhat deep voice nearly made me get up from our bed, and run towards him, right into his arms. I desperately needed one of his comfy hugs, but I didn't want to be seen as the needy, oversensitive, and clingy fiancé, or soon-to-be-husband.

"I-I'm fine!" I muttered, stuttered slightly as I mentally cursed myself for messing something up, yet again. "Don't worry a-about me. I'm just a bit tired." I laid down on the bed, curling into a ball as I brought my knees close to my chest.
"Are you sure, Love? I really wanted to cuddle with you, but if you don't feel like it right now, that's okay... Would you like to talk about your day at work?" He softly stated, climbing onto the bed, right next to me. "Is that what's making you so upset?" I lightly nodded, pushing the pastel pink blanket off my head as I laid my head on his lap. "Let it all out, Dear. Don't hold your emotions in, it's not good for you." He gently ran his fingers through my soft (h/c) hair, instantly making me feel calmer than before.

"My boss... he told me I can't do anything right and that I didn't deserve anything because I'm engaged to a man, the said man being you..." I shakily spoke as tears brimmed in my (e/c) eyes, once again. "I also accidentally slipped and spilled streaming hot coffee all over the carpeted white floor and myself, I'm lucky it wasn't too big of a stain and that a lot of it didn't hit me, but I still got yelled my boss, again." The tears I had been struggling to hold back, finally fell down my cheeks as the memories of all the awful names my boss had called for only making a few mistakes.

"May I ask what he called you?" Hoseok's soft voice turned cold at the mention of my boss, he never liked my boss, neither did I, but the job paid really well.
"A bunch of homophobic words and some cuss words, I don't want to repeat them..." I whimpered, sitting up and nearly tacking Hoseok into a hug, causing him to quickly wrap his arms around my waist as he fell back into the soft mattress.

"I'm so sorry, (M/n). No one should ever go through that, I'll try and see what I can do about this-..." He began, rubbing my back gently, but I cut him off, tears still running down my cheeks.
"No, I'll handle this... I-I-I don't want you getting involved." I objected, laying my head on the nip of his tan sun-kissed neck.
"(M/n), I don't want to see you so sad every time you come home... Please quit your job or report him, either one works... I want to see your eyes sparkling with joy and your beautiful smile, again. Please, try to ignore his awful words, they aren't true, at all." He whispered into my ear.

He sounded like he was on the verge of tears, about to break like a beautiful porcelain teacup about to fall onto the floor and smash into a million pieces.
"I... I'll try." I gave him a weak smile, wrapping my arms around his next as he held me close to him, his tears staining my shoulder as I gently ran my fingers through his hair.
"Thank you." He mumbled, his voice muffled slightly by my shoulder.

(A/n: I've written five somewhat long chapters for the new BTS Mafia au book; His son! Yay, we love progress! I know it's been a while since I've started it, around almost two or three weeks now, but school has recently started, two weeks ago, for me, so I may not have a lot of free time because of homework, eighth grade means I get homework every day and things get a lot tougher! Anyways, I'll keep you all updated with the mafia au every Hoseok chapter, so please be patient with me! I hope you all enjoyed and thank you for reading this! ☀️✨💛)
