Trigger warning: Heartbreak. I, myself, have never dated anyone, I'm not allowed to, so I have no idea what the friend-zone, crushes, or heartbreak truly feels like! But I do know how to write emotions and make you feel them, so I hope none of you are triggered or offended by this chapter!

{ You can make some requests for Jimin, I currently have no requests for him! So feel free to leave a few if you want, but if you don't want to, that's perfectly fine! }

M/N's P.O.V

I opened my eyes, seeing the somewhat familiar nurse's office. It's bright white walls, blinding me slightly as I tried to sit up, only to be gently pushed back down onto the comfy surface.

"(M/n), don't try and sit up. You need to rest, and you hit your head slightly on the ground." Namjoon's deep voice filled the silent room, automatically making me feel more comfortable.
"Okay..." I mumbled, laying back down on the small gray couch. "Namjoon, thank you." I glanced over at him, sending him a small smile before quickly avoiding his gaze.

"It's what friends are for, (M/n). You're one of my best friends, and I think of you as my adorable little brother, so of course, I'm here for you." He smiled, ruffling my (h/c) hair gently.
"Yeah, friends..." I muttered, closing my eyes to avoid crying in front of him. "Just friends..."

"Did you say something, (M/n)?" He asked, setting his book down as he worryingly looked over at me, from his chair right next to the small couch.
"Nope!" I 'cheerfully' giggled, faking a bright a smile as I curled into a ball, on the couch. "I'll be okay. My mum should probably be here soon since you know, the nurse probably called her."
"Yeah, I'll wait with you till then." He stated, picking his book back up as I desperately tried to hold my tears back, just so he wouldn't see my weak and wounded state.
"You don't need to do that. I'm sure Seokjin is missing you right now since school's almost over..." I spoke, trying my best not to whimper when I said Seokjin, one of my best friends, name...

"Seokjin? Oh! You found out we're dating! Yeah, he's a cute and kind boy... I like him a lot." He smiled to himself, flipping to the next page of his huge book.
"I'm glad you're happy, Namjoon." I beamed. It hurt that I had grown accustomed to faking my feelings, not telling or showing people how I truly felt. Maybe I'd be good at acting, actually, put my pain into something useful for once...

'Seokjin had won Namjoon's heart, fair and square... So I guess Namjoon isn't homophobic. Sadly, I didn't win his heart, but I have to accept this, they were practically made for each other... I should've seen it coming... I'm so stupid for thinking I could've won his heart. He'll only ever see me as his little brother... Nothing more, nothing less.' I pondered, realizing a few tears had slipped down my cheeks. I lifted my long navy blue sleeved, wiping away my tears before they became noticeable to Namjoon.

"Are you truly happy for me, (M/n)? Those tears don't seem to be joy-filled ones, according to the sadness flooding your (e/c) eyes... How do you truly feel, (M/n)? Please be honest with me." He asked, suddenly sitting on the couch arm, causing me to gasp slightly.
"I'm happy for you, Namjoon, truly I am." I smiled, showing him one of my many fake smiles.

"Don't fake a smile, (M/n), your real smile is much prettier." He stated, gently grabbing my arm and forcing me to sit up, on the somewhat comfy, and meet his gaze. "I may not like you that way, but I know a goodhearted and affectionate person, we both know quite well, who's had a crush on you since freshman year..." He smiled, wiping away my tears as they started to fall, once again.
"W-Who?" I asked, still in disbelief that someone would like me. "W-Why?"

"Jimin, silly! I can't believe you haven't seen how he holds your hand while you guys are walking down the hall or how he basically clings to you like a Koloa and never let's go." He laughed. His words making me realize everything at once, I was so blinded... Jim-in was always so kind and sweet to me, how could I not have seen it?!

"Feel a bit better? Come on, we can talk about this until you mum comes... She'll probably be here soon anyway." Namjoon remarked, letting go of my arm.
"Okay..." I muttered, moving around a bit to make myself a bit more comfortable.
