"Hi (y/n)."
I looked up to see a smiling Taehyung.
"Hey. What's going on?", I asked him as I set my books down in my locker.
"I was just wondering if..umm. I know we're really good friends....but I wanted to know if you wanted to go out with..me", Taehyung said as he rubbed the back of his head. Say what now????
"What? You want to go out? With me?", I asked him, making sure I wasn't dreaming. He nodded.
"Umm..yea I'd love to", I smiled at him.
"Great!...umm I'll see you after school. In the front. I have to get going now", he said before kissing my cheek. I nodded and smiled. I can't believe that just happened.

"What you're doing is wrong you know?", Jin said.
"Kwon was talking crap to me", Taehyung said as he defended himself.
"You're just messing with her feelings. What if she finds out?", he asked.
"She won't", Taehyung said.
"You don't even like her. She's a really good friend of yours. You're willing to take that risk just because he said he's better at getting girls?", Jin said. Taehyung stayed quiet as he shrugged his shoulders.
"She'll understand", he said.
"No she won't. You know she likes you. She's never gonna forgive you if she finds out", Jin said as he walked away.

I was waiting for Taehyung at the spot I usually wait for him.
"(Y/n)!"
I smiled once I saw Taehyung walking towards me.
"Hey", I said.
"C'mon. Let's go eat", he said as he grabbed my hand.

We arrived at a small café and ordered some drinks and food.
"I'm really glad you asked me to go out with you. You know, ever since I met you I always felt like I couldn't breathe", I smiled to myself. I looked up at Taehyung to find him smirking.....but not at me.
"What are you looking at?", I asked him as I turned around.
"N-Nothing. I just thought of a joke", he said. I took a sip of my drink and made a sound, satisfied by how good it tastes.
"You're so cute", Taehyung said as he had the straw between his lips. I blushed and looked down.

A few weeks have passed and I've been enjoying the time I've spent with Taehyung. I found it strange how he hasn't kissed me yet.

I walked in the school and immediately looked for Taehyung. When I saw him with the rest of the guys, I smiled and ran towards him.
"Hi Oppa. Hey guys", I said as I looped my arm with Taehyung's.
"Hey jagi, I need to talk to the guys about something", he said.
"Ok", I smiled and waited.
"I need to talk to them alone", he said as he lightly pulled my arm away from his.
"Oh, ok. I'll just get to class", I said before kissing his cheek.

"When are you gonna tell her?", Jin asked.
"Tell her what?", Taehyung asked as he unwrapped his candy bar.
"About the bet", Jin said.
"I'm not gonna tell her. I need to prove to him I can get any girl I want", Taehyung said.
"And do you want (y/n)? Is this stupid bet more important than your friendship with her?", Jin sounded angry.
"I gotta go to class. See you later", Taehyung said as he walked away.

I didn't see Taehyung the whole day. I was waiting for him at the same spot.
"Are you (y/n)?"
I looked over to see a guy smiling at me.
"Yea. Who are you?", I asked him.
"I'm Kwon. And I'm guessing you're Taehyung's girlfriend. Well I have a lot to tell you", he smiled evilly.

"Where are you going?", Jimin asked.
"I'm gonna go see (y/n). She's waiting for me", Taehyung said.
"You mean the spot she's usually at? She's not there. I passed by there and didn't see her", Jungkook said.
Taehyung was at the front of the school, looking around.
"That's weird. She's always here waiting for me", Taehyung said.
"Maybe she left", Rap Monster said.
"Yea...maybe. I'm gonna call her to see where she's at", Taehyung said as he pulled out his phone and dialed my number.
"Hmm. Went straight to voicemail", Taehyung said as he looked at his phone.
"Maybe her phone died", Jungkook said.
"Yea. I'll see you guys later. I'm gonna go to her house to see if she's there already", Taehyung started walking until he arrived in front of my door.

He knocked and waited for me to answer.
"Hey (y/n). What happened? You were supposed to wait for me. Why did you leave?", he asked.
I stayed silent.
"You ok? Your eyes are red and puffy", he said worriedly.
I closed the door and slid my body against it until I was hugging my knees.
"(Y/n)? What's going on with you?", I heard him say from the other side of the door.
I quickly wiped away the tears and opened the door.
"Is it true?", I asked him.
"Is what true?", he asked. Is he really that clueless??
"Did this whole idea of asking me out was just a bet? Do you even like me?", I cried.
I saw his face change from happy to guilt.
"I can explain", he said.
"Don't. Your friend already explained everything to me. You knew I already liked you so when you made that bet, you chose the girl who was right for the job. You knew if you asked me out I would say yes, making you win the bet. How can you do that to me?", I asked him as tears wet my cheeks.
"I'm sorry. Look, at first I was just doing it for the bet. But these few weeks being with you, I started having feelings for you", he said. He tried to hold my hand but I pulled away.
"I don't believe you", I crossed my arms as I tried to control my anger. I saw him playing with his fingers as he struggled to find the right words to say. I was about to close the door but I felt a breeze hit my face and lips against mine. I froze and wondered if I was dreaming. As soon as my mind returned to reality, I pushed him off me. I stared at him as I felt my lips with my fingers.
"(Y/n)...I'm sorr-"
I cut him off as I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. When I pulled away, our faces were still close to each other.
"You've never kissed me before", I whispered as I tried to catch my breath.
"And that was my mistake. I'm still sorry about that stupid bet I made. I shouldn't have done that", he said, looking away.
"It's ok. Just don't ever do it again. Or I'll make sure you won't touch my lips again", I said as I pulled him into my house.
