Namjoon's POV

I stared deeply into the calm lake. The wind blew gave me some chill. The birds chirped happily.
I sighed and tucked both my hands in my blue denim jeans pocket. Turning around,I took my step and walked around the park.

The elderly were chit-chatting and exercising,the children were playing happily,some of them were enjoying the picnic and quality times with their family happily.

As I walked,I flinched as someone bumped into me. I frowned and looked a figure with long silk dark brown hair.

"Aish.." She groaned.

"You're good?" I asked as I saw her face a bit uneasy.

She looked up. Wow..her eyes were sparkling. They were like,something I haven't see before.

"Ah,ahh..mianhaeyo. I didn't see you there,just now but..can you help me? I just lost my necklace. " She said as her eyes wandered around the grass.

"Oh,sure. Let me help you then." I volunteered.

"Thank you. That's...so sweet of you." She smiled and we both looked for her necklace.

"Err,miss. This one?" I asked as I pointed to the white shining necklace with the symbol ♪ on it.

"Ah,yes!! That's mine! Oh my gosh,thank you so much! " She took it and surprisingly hugged me. She pulled away and put it around her neck and tried to connect it.

"Ergh.." She struggled.

"Do you want me to help?" I pointed out.

"Oh,jinjja? I mean,you're willing to do it?"

I chuckled.

"It's not a big deal. Here.." I walked towards her and stand behind her taking the necklace from her soft hands.

She held her hair and put it aside as I connect the necklace.

"There you go.."

"Thank you so much. " She grinned.

"No biggie." I smiled back,revealed my dimples..

"Oh,I'm (y/n)! Jung (y/n)." She pulled out her hand for a handshake; which I gladly accepted.

"Kim Namjoon."

"Well,you're alone?" She asked.

"Mm,yeah. Waeyo?"

"Let's grab some coffee. My treat. Because you helped me find my necklace." She invited with a wide smile on her face.

"Ah,so this sounds like a date huh?" I teased.

"Ahahahahha..kinda." We both laughed and headed to the row of booths nearby the park.

"Well,thanks for the treats." I smiled. It's late in the evening and we were just about to head home as we walked out of the cafe after hours of talk about each other.

"No prob. Well,I guess. I'll see you around?" She turned to look at me.

"Yeah. Well,call me sometimes" I said while stuffed my hands in the pocket.

"Sure thing!" She beamed and we waved a goodbye and headed home.

"(Y/N)-AHH!!!" I rushed to (y/n) as I saw her almost tripped over the sand while walking along the beach.

"Ah,ah..oppa! Hahahhahahah" She giggled as she fall in my arms.

"Aish! Please be careful!" I pouted

She nodded and smiled before leaned in to kiss me on the lips.
"Saranghae~" She whispered.

"Nado saranghae.." I replied before peck her lips once again.

We've been dating for about 3 months now. Also,we moved in to an apartment together last month.
(Y/n) was the best thing that I've ever could ask for.

I lifted her and we sat on the white sand,cuddling as we watched the Sun goes down.

"Do you wanna watch something else?" I asked as I scrolled down the Netflix. It's midnight and we both still awake and decided to cuddle and watch some movies. (Y/n) snuggled closer to me and landed her head on my chest while her arm wrapped around my body.

"Ah,it's up to you. I don't mind." She mumbled.

"Okay then.." I clicked on this one English movie called "Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters "

We both watched it and I pulled her closer to me and pecked her temple.

"Love you.."

I was currently producing some song with my friend,Yoongi..untill my phone ding, signaling that there's a text popped out.

I slyly smiled as I saw the name,

(Y/N) ♡

I swiped the screen,unlocked it and read the text..

"Meet me at the park..NOW!"

I frowned as I sensed something was wrong.

"What's wrong babe? "
I replied

"Just come here NOW!"

I sighed as I excused myself and exited the studio to head to the park.

I waited patiently for (y/n) to show up by the lake. After minutes of waiting,I saw her walking towards me.

"Hey,babe. Something's wr-"

I was cut off by a hard slap on my left cheek. Surprised,I looked up. Only to see her with tears flow down her cheeks.

"What was that for?" I asked

She exhaled loudly and showed me her phone with a photo on it.
It's a photo I was pecking a girl's cheek. I knew her. She's my old friend that I met at the cafe last week.

I turned to look at (y/n). She must be misunderstood.

"(Y/n),she's my old-"

"Shut up!" She shut her eyes.

"(Y/n),please liste-"

"NO! Oh God,Namjoon. How could you!" She cried.

"(Y/n),please! Just listen!" I pleaded.

She shook her head and walked away with tears poured down on her face.

I sighed heavily and ruffled my hair as I groaned in frustration. I picked the rock on the grass and threw it into the lake while screaming out loud.

Tears started to flow down my cheek. I looked down only to see my reflection through the water.

And I only can see the reflection of a man who just lost the love of his life just because of a fcking small mistake.

I was walking along the street in the middle of the night. It's raining heavily here in Seoul. And it's been 3 months since (y/n) moved out from our appartment. I would be lying if I told myself I didn't miss her. I kept thinking about her every single day.

*sigh*

I continued walking untill something caught my eyes. I saw a figure with a long dark hazel brown hair,dressed in white long-sleeves shirt and a pair of black pants. Don't get me wrong,the row of lamps on the roadside just doing their works.

And that's when I caught my sense..it's (y/n). And she didn't have anything to cover her head and she was soaking wet.

I walked towards her and shifted the umbrella that I was holding a bit so it will cover her head from the raindrops too. She seems noticed about what happened and turned around. She was a bit surprised when she saw me.

Her eyes were puffy and her face was completely pale.

"(Y/n)-ssi..."

She didn't reply instead she's just stared deeply into my eyes.

"(Y/n)-ah..let's go home,nae?"

I whispered before pulling her by the shoulder closer to me. She didn't object though.

I rubbed her shoulder gently and both of us headed to the apartment.

"Wait here,I'll go get the towel."
I said as she sat on the bed before I walked out of the room to grab a towel in the bathroom.

I placed the towel on her shoulder as I walked into the room.

"Jakkamanyeol.." I gave her a small smile before turned around to find some of my shirts for her to wear. But I was stopped mid way as I felt a hold on my back.

I turned and faced (y/n)..

"Namjoon-ah.." She called. Her eyes never left mine and so do I.

She leaned closer and gave me a long sweet kiss on my lips. My hands made their way to her nape and hold her like she was something that so fragile in the world.

She pulled away and leaned her forehead on mine..

"Please..don't do that agai-"
"I won't! I promise you,I won't do that again. I can't bare losing you anymore. I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry."
I cut her off.

She smiled and walked backwards untill both of our body collapsed on the bed as we continued locking our lips together.

"Why? "

She replied.

I chuckled and hit the letters on my phone and replied to her.

" Just come to the lake in the park now. I need to tell you something :) "

"Well,you could just tell me here. Or call me ? "

" Nope! Come on sweetheart,at the lake..now! :) "

"Okay! Okay! Fine~ :p "

I smiled sheepishly and tucked my phone back into my pocket. I waited for (y/n) to come here and I finally gonna do this today.

I've prepared this for months now and I finally have courage to do this. Today,I'm gonna ask her to be my soulmates,and of course..to be my wife.

"Hey,so what do you want to tell me?

She asked as she walked towards me and pecked my lips.

I smiled and held both of her hands.

"(Y/n)-ssi,you know that I love you so much. I love you more than I love myself..you know that right?"

She nodded,feeling a bit confused.

I let go one of her hand and grabbed a little box that I kept in my jeans pocket. I took it out and opened it,revealed a shining white diamond ring..

I looked at her and slowly kneeled on the grass; still holding her other hand.

She gasped and I can see tears started to form in her eyes.

"Jung (Y/n), we're here witnessed by this lake,where we first met each other, with our loves sealed together, would you do me and honour to be my soulmates,to be my partner to go through another chapter in our life, to be the mother for my kids, to be the first one who smile at me when I first woke up in the morning, to be the one who's willing to be there for me through thick and thin, and finally to be my one and only wife who I will adore forever in my life.
(Y/n), will you marry me?"

She covered her mouth and tears stream down her cheeks.
She smiled and nodded eagerly.

"Yes! Yes Namjoon I will!!" She replied. I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and quickly stood up.

I picked the ring and slide it to her finger.

She looked at me and crashed her lips onto mine while her arms snaked around my neck.

I hugged her waist and lifted her from the ground.

"I love you" She said

"I love you too. Always will and always have." I replied.

She smiled and pulled me for a tight hug.

"Hey,can you help me with these boxes?" (Y/n) asked as we got into our new house.

Yeah,we moved into this new house that I bought 3 weeks ago.
We're 4 months married and so far,we're cool. No more arguing.

I guess..

"Yeah,sure. Just..wait a minute I need to move this one first." I spoke up.

"Okay." I heard she replied

"Phew! Finally!!" (Y/n) sighed as we plopped ourselves on the couch in the living room.

"All done!" I said and grinned widely.

"Thank you,Namjoon. Thank you for everything~" She mumbled as she snuggled closer to me.

"Anything for you,jagiya.." I pecked her cheek and she slyly smirked.

"Oppa~..." She purred

"Aish,this girl. Come here!" She squealed as I lifted her bridal style and brought her upstairs and straight to our bedroom.

"

What?! What do you mean she's infertile. Oh my God this can't be!" I exclaimed while holding (y/n)'s hand tightly.

"I'm sorry sir. She had this ovulatory problems which generally manifest herself by sparse or absent menstrual periods. That's why she can't have babies. I'm sorry once again sir,ma'm."

I nodded slowly and turned to look at (y/n). She kept her eyes closed and held my hand.

"Do you want to eat something?" I asked her as we stepped into the house.

She shook her head and walked towards the couch.

I heaved a sigh and sat next to her,pulling her closer to me as she leaned on my chest.

"Hey,listen..It's fine. Okay? Maybe we were destined like this. (Y/n) no matter what happened I will always be there for you. I love you and nothing will stop that. I don't care if we don't have children as long as you're here next to me. That's all matter to me. I love you (y/n). Don't be sad okay? It hurts me to see you like this.."

I rubbed her back and pecked her forehead.

"I love you too Namjoon.."

Times flew so fast and years has passed.
I'm now walking towards the hospital cafeteria to grab some coffee. (Y/n) was sleeping in the room past 35 minutes.

Well,it's been 2 months since (y/n) got warded. Months after we had the news that (y/n)'s infertile,(y/n) frequently had a bad fever and she always fainted. I was worried sick and immediately brought her to clinic.Doctor authenticated that she had a lung cancer stage two.

I was out of words that time. My wife is sick. I was so sad to hear the news. But I told myself to be strong for her. That I was here for her.

And that all passed untill last week. The doctor came to talk to me while I was talking with (y/n) in the room.

He told me that her condition was getting worst and her cancer now was in stage four.

I was surprised to death. But,there's (y/n) with her genuine smile,she told me that everything is gonna be okay.

Eventhough it's not...

I paid for my coffee and then my phone rang in my pocket.

The next thing I knew the cup if coffee that I was holding fall on the floor and I was running to the 12th floor where (y/n) was.

I wiped my tears and caressed the thombstone infront of me.

"Saranghae jagiya..." I whispered before dusting my pants and get up. A week has passed after (y/n)'s death. And I feel alone..

But somehow I was glad, because I made it to get to her before she closed her eyes. And I was thankful because she managed to say that she loved me..before she left.

I sighed and headed to my car.

I drove and finally stopped at the park.

I stepped out from the car and headed towards the lake.

The lake..where we first met,where I proposed to her and made her my wife,where we always hang out together at the middle of the night under the moonlight,where the last place that I brought her 2 days before she left me.

I sighed and looked,staring deep into the water.

My reflection flashed in it, it used to be me and (y/n)'s,but now..it's just me after all.

But,then the water moved and flow slowly, and it caught my eyes.

I found there's another reflection next to mine,and it belongs to someone who I loved and treasured so much. She smiled widely while holding my hand.

I caught myself slightly smiled as she whispered to my ear..

"Namjoon-ah,nado saranghae ..."
