When I was five years old, I was admitted to the hospital due to many burns I sustained. Some weren't too serious but the one that will remain is the one on my stomach. I didn't really know what the doctor meant at that time because I was very young so throughout the years, I realized that my 'friends' weren't laughing with me, they were laughing at me. So at around 13 years old, I stopped being friends with everyone and only focused on myself.

When I was 16, I met a guy who I had trouble trusting at first but as time passed, he asked me out on a date and I agreed to go with him. A few months later, I moved in with him. My parents thought it was a bad idea and even forbid me to go out with him. I had to defend myself and told them that I couldn't hide from the world forever. They didn't support my decision but they didn't stop me either. Jungkook has been the only one who really cared about me.

"Jagi, wake up! It's your birthday!", Jungkook yelled as he pounced onto the bed, causing me to scream and roll off.

I sat up as the blanket covered my face. When he heard me groan, he chuckled nervously and cleared his throat.

"Sorry..I forgot you hate it when I do that. Anyways, wake up because this birthday is gonna be the best birthday you've ever experienced", he said as he removed the blanket from my face.

"Turning 20 isn't a big deal", I said, sitting on the bed.

"What?? It's a huge deal! You're a year older", he laughed as he sat down next to me.

His laughter always makes my heart skip a beat. Whenever I'm feeling down, he always has some way of cheering me up.

"At least I didn't dress up as a clown this time. I didn't think you'd react that way", he said.

"Who would react so happily to a clown? They're so creepy. They smile ALL THE TIME", I said.

"You're right. Well get dressed because I'm taking you out to eat. And we're meeting up with the guys later to cut the cake", he said as he began to walk away.

"Ugh, you know I hate parties", I groaned.

"It's not a party if it's less than 10 people. Get dressed because I made reservations", he said, blowing a kiss towards me.

I shuddered and made my bed before heading towards the shower. Jungkook bought a dress for me to wear for today. It's not that bad except it's a little bit short. It's good that it's a long sleeve though.

We headed towards the restaurant he made reservations to so we could have breakfast. Apparently this restaurant is very hard to get into. I don't know how he did it.

"You didn't have to take me here. We could've gone somewhere that didn't involve spending a lot of money", I said.

"I'd do anything for you. I know you're much you've wanted to come here. You always stare out the window when we pass by here", he said.

"How did I deserve to have such an amazing boyfriend like you?", I smiled.

"I know. I'm awesome. Brag about it if you want", he said cockily, causing me to laugh.

"I can't believe we've been together for three years already. I remember the day I first met you. You were really shy", he said.

"Well you're the first true friend I've had in years. My old friends didn't really like me. I was just a joke to them", I mumbled.

"You never told me that. I thought it was because you were really shy", he said.

"Um..it's nothing. It doesn't matter now anyways. I have you", I smiled, placing my hand on top of his.

We went to where the guys were at and celebrated my 20th birthday. The cake was surprisingly good. I don't really eat cake depending on where it came from but this time Jin bake the cake. After eating pieces of the cake and had fun with everyone, Jungkook and I went back home. During the ride, he would softly hold my hand and lightly squeeze. He didn't say much.

When we arrived, I was about to go to the closet to put my sweater away but Jungkook grabbed me by the hand and pulled me back.

He placed his lips on mine and pushed me up against the wall. As I soon noticed that he wasn't pulling away, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. The kiss got more intense and passionate, I didn't even realize his shirt was already off. Without breaking the kiss, we made our way towards the bedroom.

He laid me down into the bed and slowly crawled on top of me. Once again, his lips made contact with mine while his hand was going up my dress. I quickly pushed him off me and kept my arms crossed over my stomach.

"What's wrong?", he asked, face flushed.

"Um..nothing..I just..I don't know", I mumbled and looked away.

He noticed my arms were over my stomach. He crawled on the bed again and sat in front of me. His hand moved a strand of hair behind my ear to get a better look at me.

"Do you not find yourself attractive? Because I think that you are very beautiful. And I want to prove to you that I love you for you. If the reason why you feel insecure of your body because of those friends you had back then, I'm here to tell you that whatever they said to you is not true. I love you", he whispered as his thumb caressed my cheek.

After hearing what he said, I looked up at him and smiled. I leaned over and continued to kiss him. His hands made their way to the back of my dress and started to zip down the zipper. I was getting nervous but I tried to push that feeling away as I only want to feel Jungkook's love. When he pulled the dress off of me, his eyes darted down to my stomach. He was taking too long to respond which worried me deeply. His hand traced the scar that was left on my stomach from all the burns. Before even thinking that he finds me repulsive, he leaned down and placed small pecks on the scar.

"You're still beautiful", he whispered.

He smiled at me before leaning forward to kiss me. It felt different that time. Now that he knows about my secret and still feels the same about me, I now know that I can trust him 100%.
