It's exactly 7:45 am and I'm standing in front of a high school. The high school. It's my first day and I knew no one. I was too nervous to walk in because I didn't know what to expect.

The last high school I was in, I didn't have any problems with my grades. I had problems with the students. Just because I had high grades, the other students thought it was okay to make fun of me. I was bullied. In the beginning it wasn't that bad. But it escalated to girls tripping me and pushing me around and the guys doing some stupid but harsh pranks on me. I had enough and moved to a different high school.

The bell rang which shook me from my thoughts. I began walking and looked for the office. It took me 20 minutes. This is a huge school!

I walked into the office and was greeted by the principal.

"Hi (y/n), I'm the school principal, Ms. Wu. It's so nice to have you here", she smiled.

I smiled back and waved a little.

"Oh you don't have to be shy here. Everyone is so nice and respectful. I know you told me about what happened in your old high school but I guarantee you that won't happen here. Everyone gets along very well", she said.

"I'll believe that when I see it", I said.

"Okay. I want you to get the best experience at this high school so I called over the school president to show you around and maybe tell you a few secrets about how to get new friends quickly", she said.

"What if I don't want new friends? I just want to graduate", I said.

"Well I think it's best to balance things out. You can have friend and focus on your grades. It's best if you have friends that support your dreams and goals", she said.

"You called me Miss?"

I looked over at the door to find a very tall and handsome guy.

"Oh yes! This is (y/n). She's new here. I thought it would be a great idea to show her around. Get to know her and introduce her to a few of your friends. Since you are the school president, you can explain to her what can help her achieve her goals. I expect a lot from you so don't fail me now", she said.

"Of course Miss. I'll do everything I can so she'd love attending this school", he smiled and bowed.

Ms. Wu looked at me and motioned me to go with him. I bowed and followed the school president.

"By the way, my name is Namjoon. Ms. Wu told me a lot about you. Don't worry. You can expect everyone to get along with you", he said.

"How do you know? You don't even know me", I said.

"Well that's why we're here right?", he smiled.

I looked away to keep me from blushing. I held my bag tightly and looked around. It doesn't look to bad. There's no vandalism or trash on the floor. Everything is so clean.

"So what is your main goal?", he asked.

"I want to graduate with honors and hopefully attend the best university in Seoul. I wanna become a surgeon", I said.

"Whoa. That's a huge goal. Well with your grades, I don't have one single doubt that you won't achieve it", he said.

"Thanks", I smiled.

He walked me to my first class and got really nervous when he introduced me to the whole class. He told me he would be waiting for me when class is over.

I walked over to my seat which was neat and already had my name on it. I sat down and carefully eyed the students around me. My eyes stopped on one guy and blushed when he smiled at me. I looked away and kept my eyes on the teacher.

Each minute that goes by, I feel the guy's eyes on me. I would glance sometimes when he's not looking at me. He's really attractive.

The school bell rang and I bent down to put my things in my bag. The class wasn't that bad. Calculus is so easy. I'll pass this class in no time.

A pair of red shoes stopped in front of me. I slowly looked up and my eyes slightly widened as I saw the same guy that has been looking at me standing right in front of me.

"(Y/n), right? The name is Jaxon. I was wondering if you wanna have lunch with me", he said cooly.

"Uh.."

"She can't."

Namjoon walked in with a serious expression. He lightly grabbed my hand and led me outside.

"What was that about? You said I had to meet new friends", I said.

"Not with him. He's a playboy. He likes hurting girls for his own pleasure", he said.

"I thought everyone in this school would get a long with me", I said.

"Not if you're seen with him. Nothing happens on school grounds. You would have to be careful outside of the school. There was a girl who went out with him for like a month. After that, he was seen with someone else and she followed her home. She stabbed her with a knife. She survived but she was afraid to be around Jaxon. As for the other girl, she got expelled and had to get help", he explained.

"That happened in this school??", I asked.

"Like I said, nothing happens on school grounds. That's why Ms. Wu says everyone here gets along. I kinda need to say that to everyone who's new that way their first day isn't ruined", he said.

"So why are you telling me?", I asked.

"Because I don't wanna lie to you. You've been through enough at your old school. I don't want you to think I'm like the other kids. Lying to you to make you think I like you? No way. I'd rather tell you the truth and still like you", he said.

What? Is he actually telling the truth? I never had friends like him before. Oh my god. I just called him a friend.

"So..lunch?"
