About three months ago, I was left at the altar by my fiancé who I've known for five years. Everyone kept telling me it was a mistake since I'm only 18 but I didn't listen. And where did that take me? No where.

Since that happened, I haven't talked to anybody. Not one single word. The guys tried so much to cheer me up and I'm glad they weren't pressuring me to talk.

They told me I should go to Hawaii for the honeymoon that was supposed to happen. They said I shouldn't let the tickets go to waste so I guess I can just continue to do nothing in Hawaii. I thought I would be going alone but since there were two tickets, someone had to go with me. Jungkook ended up going and I was relieved since I feel more comfortable around him.

It's been about two days since we arrived and all I've been doing was laying in bed and forgetting about everything. Jungkook tried to convince me to go out and explore but I didn't have the energy to.

"Wanna watch tv?", he asked as he sat down next to me. I shrugged.

He turned on the tv and switched channels. He stopped on the news which caught my attention.

*This just in, famous actor MinSung was caught in Hawaii with the same lovely lady he took out to dinner. Months ago, he was supposed to get married with ex-fiancé, (y/n), but didn't end in good terms. Is this more than what he explained last week? Or is this just another fling before he gets back to work?*

Jungkook quickly turned off the tv while I just sat there staring blankly at nothing.

He's here? In Hawaii? With someone else?

"(Y/n)? Are you okay?", he asked as he waved one hand in front of my face.

I didn't answer as I was still trying to process what the news reporter said.

"(Y/n), look at me", Jungkook said.

I hesitated but slowly turned my head so I'd be facing Jungkook.

"Don't let him ruin your life. If he really loved you, he would be here instead of me. I understand it's hard for you to move on but can you at least try? You won't get any better sulking around", he said.

I though about what he said and he was right. If he's out there with another woman acting as if nothing happened, I could move on as well.

"Plus...I really do miss your voice", he said.

I smiled and looked away. Once I felt my cheeks cooled down, I looked back at him and was about to say something but I was interrupted by Jungkook's laptop. It was Jin wanting to video chat. I looked away and silently sighed.

"Helloooooo", Jin yelled.

"Your timing couldn't have been any better hyung", Jungkook said sarcastically.

"Why? What's happening? By the way, how's (y/n)? I saw the news a couple of minutes ago. Is she okay?", Jin asked.

I stood up and walked away.

"She was until you called", Jungkook muttered as he saw me walk away.

I showered and put on something comfortable so I could sit outside and enjoy the view of the beach. I sat down and felt the warm sand in between my toes.
Jungkook sat down next to me and did the same.

"There's this festival going on at the end of the beach. Wanna go? It'll be fuuuuun", he said as he wriggled his eyebrows.

I smiled and nodded. We put on our shoes and walked towards the music where I'm guessing the festival is being held at.

Hours go by and I enjoyed all the festivities. We ended up getting hungry so Jungkook went to buy food while I stood near a palm tree.

"(Y/n)?"

I froze when I heard the sound of his voice.

He can't be here.

I slowly turned and bit my lip as the guy in front of me smiled while he had an arm over a girl's shoulder.

"I knew it was you. How are you? Have you met Suzy? I think you have. I remember you guys used to work together. What are you doing here? Are you by yourself?", MinSung asked.

I felt like I was suffocating. I put my hands together so he wouldn't see my hands shaking.

"No she's not. She's here with me."

An arm slung over my shoulders and I sighed in relief as I saw Jungkook next to me.

"We would love to stay and chat but we were having fun before you got here", Jungkook said.

He grabbed my hand and lightly pulled me away until MinSung was out of sight. He took me to a place where it was more quiet than the festival. It was relaxing and some older guy was playing the ukulele.

"Sorry I didn't get the food. I was in line when I looked back at you and saw him talking to you. I wonder what he was doing here. Anyways he's not important. Did you like the festival?", he asked. I nodded.

"Good. You're slowly recovering. Baby steps", he smiled.

I don't know why but every time I see him smile, it makes me feel warm inside. I put my hands on my lap and watched the guy play the ukulele. I got startled when Jungkook grabbed my hand. He noticed I was still wearing my engagement ring. Honestly, I forgot I was wearing it.

I pulled my hand back and stared at the small ring on my finger. I stood up and walked towards the water. It took me a while to take off the ring from my finger and threw it far into the water.

I walked back towards Jungkook and sat down next to him. I glanced at Jungkook to see him hiding a smile while he looked in front of him. I quickly kissed his cheek and looked away, hoping he doesn't see my flushed face.

"T-Thank you...for taking care of me", I mumbled.

"You're welcome", he smiled as he held his cheek.
