"That's not fair. It's been months since I've seen you guys. Can't your manager just give you this weekend to come visit?", I whined as I made a puppy dog face.

" I'm sorry (y/n). We're really behind on our schedule."

"We'll come visit soon!"

"But it's gonna be my birthday. You promised", I mumbled.

"Tell you what. When we go visit, we'll take you anywhere you like."

"I'll buy you whatever you want!"

"I don't want anything. I just want you guys here", I sat down on the couch and placed my laptop on the table.

I heard their manager telling them that they had to go so I said goodbye and closed my laptop. I sighed and faced the clock that was on the wall. It was only 6:30pm. A few more hours and it'll be my 20th birthday.

The next morning I was woken up by the manager banging on the apartment door.

"Miss (y/n), I know you're in there! Open up!"

I groaned and opened the door. The manager of the building had his smiley face pjs on and held a piece of paper on his hand.

"Good morning Mr. Bellinger", I said sarcastically.

"Is it really? Your mutt pooped on my plants again. How many times do I have to tell you to not let that animal near there??", he said angrily.

"I don't have a dog", I said.

"And your rent money is late again. Either give it to me by the end of the week or I will have no choice but to evict you", he said and walked away.

"Happy birthday to me", I said and closed the door.

For the next few hours, I went out and bought groceries. Some guy pushed me and the eggs I bought cracked onto the floor.

"Jerk! Watch where you're going!", I yelled and picked up everything that looked edible.

When I arrived at my apartment, the door was slightly open. I cautiously walked into the dark apartment and placed the grocery bags near the door.

The lights turned on and the guys were there with a cake.

"Happy birthday!!", they yelled which caused me to scream.

"What are you guys doing here?? I thought you said you couldn't visit", I said, still shocked.

"We lied", Namjoon said.

"It was hyung's idea", Taehyung smirked like a little kid as he looked at Hoseok.

"Make a wish before Jungkook decides to blow the candles out himself", Jin said.

"Aww you ruined it", Jungkook whined.

I closed my eyes as I blew out the candles and made a wish.

Hoseok and I decided to go for a walk while the guys stayed in my apartment.

"So this was your idea?", I asked him.

"Yeah. I wanted to surprise you", he said.

"Well you did", I smiled.

We sat down on some swings at the park that was next to the apartment. We stayed silent for a few minutes before he spoke.

"Oh! I almost forgot. Close your eyes", he said.

"What? Why?", I asked.

"Just close them", he shook his head.

I was a bit hesitant but I did what he said. I see nothing but darkness.

"Hold out your hand", I heard him say.

I raised an eyebrow but held out my hand anyways: I felt something cold on the palm of my hand.

"Open your eyes", he said.

When I did, my eyes widened when I saw a small silver necklace with a locket in the shape of a heart.

"You like it?", he asked.

I looked closely and noticed small words on the necklace.

'I Love You'

"You don't like it, do you?", he asked, smile fading.

"No..I love it..", I smiled up at him.

He smiled and took the necklace from my hands. He walked around behind me and placed the necklace around my neck. The entire time my face was burning and my throat became dry.

Why would he give me a present like this? What does this mean? Is he just being nice? Or does he really mean it?

He brushed my hair to the side and chuckled. He walked back in front of me and smiled.

"It looks good on you", he said.

I smiled and looked down. He leaned over me, placing his hands on each side of the metal part of the swing and kept his eyes on me. My heart was beating fast and I couldn't look at him.

"Remember three years ago on your birthday? You said you were having trouble with money for some reason. I know your ex boyfriend was forcing you to give him money. I'm glad you aren't with him anymore", he said.

"What makes you say that?", I said.

"Because I can finally give you the present I've been saving for you", he said.

He grabbed my hand and pulled me up. He whispered 'close your eyes' in a really deep voice. When I did, I felt him get closer. His hand was on my cheek, his thumb slightly moving up and down.

"Make a wish", he whispered.

After he said that, he placed his lips on mine. I felt like I was floating. My arms went around his neck, bringing him down closer to me.

"Happy birthday (y/n)", he said, out of breath.

As we walked back, he held my hand. I kept smiling to myself. As we entered the building, he pushed me up against the wall and smiled as he got closer. He kissed me more roughly than when we were at the park.

"What did you wish for anyways?", he asked.

"I can't tell you. My wish won't come true", I said.

"So your wish isn't about me?", he asked.

"Like I said, I can't tell you", I said.

He smiled and leaned in until our lips met. His lips pecked down to my neck, causing me to giggle.

"Miss (y/n), first your dog poops on my plants and now you're up to your shenanigans in public?? You should be ashamed of yourself."

We pulled away when my manager walked around the corner and stood in front of us.

"I don't have a dog and we were just going inside", I said.

I grabbed Hoseok's hand and walked passed him.

"So he's the crazy manager you were talking about?", he asked.

"Shhhh", I covered his mouth.

We went back inside and noticed all of the guys on the floor, sleeping with their mouth wide open.

Hoseok and I decided to pull a prank on them so we ended up drawing on their face with permanent marker. When we finished, we went into my room and fell asleep.
