Your pov

You were sipping your coffee inside the cafe, waiting for Namjoon to arrive. He can be here any moment, after 5 min he walked into the cafe. You waved at him and he walked over and greeted you.

''I'm going to get a coffee first, do you want anything?'' Namjoon asked.

''I've already got mine, thanks.'' You held up your cup up coffee.

After Namjoon got his coffee he joined you at your table.

''So you wanted to talk to me?'' Namjoon said seriously, ''What is it about?''

''Like I said it's nothing serious.'' You replied, ''It's just in a few days it will be mine and Yoongi's 100th day anniversary and I wanted to do something special.''

''That's really nice of you.''

''Thanks,'' You smiled at him, ''But I'm afraid he will have a busy schedule that day, do you think you can arrange something so I can have him part of that day?''

''Honestly,'' Namjoon said in a serious voice, ''I can't really change our schedule you know. Even though, I am the leader I am not the one who does the planning that's our manager.''

''oh..''

'' Don't worry,'' Namjoon quickly started, '' Actually, on the day of your 100th anniversary, Yoongi has most of the day off. I am just telling you for future reference.''

You smiled brightly ''So Yoongi has most of the day off?''

''Yes.''

''Nice! Then I have another question, what would he love for the 100th-day anniversary? You know 100th days is not that long, and you probably know him much better than me. I just really need some advice.''

'' Hmmm..'' Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck, ''Well, he doesn't like noisy or crowded places, so just keep it simple but sweet. Also, don't show your love with a gift, just show it with action.''

''Action?'' You raised an eyebrow, immediately thinking he meant something dirty, he saw you thinking and added:

''No not like that.'' He waved his arms in front of his face. ''I meant by doing something nice for him, like cook his favorite meal, or watch his favorite movie with him.''

Nodding you were glad to make this decision and quickly wrote down everything Namjoon told you. Now, you had a great idea for your 100th day anniversary. 

Yoongi POV

After practice, I went to my studio to work on my music, but as I was still tired from practice my mind wouldn't focus. So instead I decided to take a short walk and a get coffee. Therefore, instead of the coffee shop across the street, I decided to go to the small cafe a few streets away. When you arrived at the cafe you were about to walk inside when you saw a familiar face in the cafe. Y/n? I thought she said she had to work today, why is she here? You quickly hid and glanced inside to see who she was meeting. Isn't that NAMJOON?! Why is she meeting Namjoon? Is she on a date with him? Was she just using me to get closer to the other members? Why is she doing this to me? 

Your POV

The day after your talk with Namjoon you were busy preparing for your anniversary with Yoongi, you were looking up the recipe for his favorite food. You decided that it was going to be a simple nice date, first, you would cook his favorite food and then watch his favorite movie comfortably at home with a soft cozy blanket to wrap yourself and him in. You were already smiling at the idea. Then the doorbell rang, you got up from the computer and opened the door. 

''Yoongi?'' You asked, ''I thought you had a schedule today?''

''We finished early today.'' He said in a monotone voice and walked in your house to the living room. You silently followed him and looked at him surprised, his attitude seemed so cold, usually, he will give you a hug or at least a smile when coming over. 

''Am I not getting a hug?'' You smiled at him and opened your arms wide.

'' Y/N?'' Yoongi looked at you coldly, ''We need to talk.''

''Oh no..'' You crossed your arms, ''When someone says that it is always bad news.''

''Why were you on a date with Namjoon?'' Yoongi said straight to the point. 

You relaxed a bit, was that all that was wrong, but how did he find out? Namjoon promised to keep it a secret and you had believed him. 

''It was not a date Yoongi.''You answered. ''but how did you know I met up with him?''

''That is not important,'' his face looked sad and hurt and he was looking at the ground avoiding your gaze, ''So you admit you met up with him?''

''Yeah,'' You replied, ''I did but,''

Yoongi cut you off. ''Why did you meet up with him?''

''I.. uh..'' What were you going to say? You thought. You didn't want to spoil your surprise date for your 100th anniversary. ''Why can't I meet up with him? He's a friend.''

''Girls and guys are never just friends.'' Yoongi crossed his arms, ''There always something behind their actions.''

''That's not true.''

''I am a guy.'' Yoongi pointed at himself, ''Trust me I know.''

You raised an eyebrow at him, ''You think Namjoon has interest in dating me?''

''Would you like it if he wanted to?''

''What?'' You asked confused.

''That's it right? You are just using me to get closer to the other members? Maybe even just for the fame, just to meet other idols?''

''What?!'' You got a bit angry at him, everything he said was definitely not true. You loved Yoongi, you weren't interested in fame. You even hated to be in the center of the attention and he knew that. What has gotten in his mind?

''What's wrong with you today?'' You asked and took step towards him concerned about him and in response, he took a step backward, it hurt you to see him turn away from you.

''What's wrong with me!?'' Yoongi raised his voice, ''What's wrong with you! You were cheating on me, with Namjoon! How could you do that to me?!''

''I was not..'' You tried to explain to him but he cut you off again.

''You were not, what!'' Yoongi was now yelling, you had never seen him like this before. It scared you a bit. You hadn't been cheating on him, not at all. The opposite honestly, you had been thinking about him 24/7 preparing the perfect date. Was he jealous?

''You met up with him right! Then tell me why did you meet up with him?'' Yoongi yelled at you.

Your thoughts were racing but it was too late, your answer had taken too long.

''You can't even answer that simple question! That says it all!'' Yoongi turned around and stomped towards the door. ''That's it! I am breaking up with you.''

With that said he slammed the front door and left. You stood there stunned, what had just happened? Did Yoongi just break up with you? Tears welled up in your eyes. You sank down on the couch in the living room, tears started streaming down your face, how had this happened? You hadn't done anything wrong, you just wanted to make him happy. He had completely misunderstood the situation.

Yoongi pov
Angrily I entered the dorm, I completely ignored Taehyung and Jungkook who greeted me when I entered and stormed to my bedroom. Where I plopped down on your bed and covered myself in my blanket. Not wanting to face the world. In the living room, I heard them talking about me, but I ignored it. Then someone softly knocked on the door.

"Yoongi?" Namjoon asked, "Are you okay?"

"Go away!" I yelled, "I don't want to talk about it, especially not to you!"

"Not to me?" Namjoon asked, "What did I do?"

Then I heard his cell phone ring, Namjoon was silent for a moment.

"You broke up with Y/N?" Namjoon said stunned, "because I supposedly cheated with her? Are you an idiot?"

I covered my eyes with a pillow not wanting to hear his excuses. The door to my bedroom opened.

"I said go away!" I threw the pillow to his face, but he caught it easily.

"You are an idiot!" Namjoon pulled the blanket of me, "Do you know why she met up with me?"

"No," I mumbled, "That was the problem she wouldn't tell me why. So, I assumed it was date"

"She came to me for advice, because she wanted to plan the perfect day for your 100th day anniversary," Namjoon explained, ''She would never cheat on you, you idiot. She didn't want to ruin your suprise that's why she couldn't say why she met up with me. Go apologize to her right now!"

I looked at Namjoon in shock. Was it true what he said? Had I misunderstood everything and overreacted? To think of it I only saw them drinking coffee and Y/N was trying to explain but I kept cutting her off. I should go apologize, I drew my conclusions too quickly I should at least let her explain. I stormed out of the house again on my way to her house, on the way I quickly bought a nice bouquet of flowers. At first, she didn't even open the door but after some persistent ringing, she finally opened the door. I held the bouquet of flowers in front of me.

Your POV

You reluctantly opened the door, afraid he was going to yell at you again.  When you opened the door a large beautiful bouquet of flowers was pushed in your face.

"I am so sorry!"  Yoongi bowed politely to you, "Namjoon told me everything, I should have listened to you. I just got a bit jealous and may have overreacted a little bit."

You crossed your arms, "A little bit, you broke up with me."

"I should not have done that, I didn't mean it. I was just angry."

You sighed, what should I do with this guy? "Fine, but don't do that ever again."

Yoongi smiled brightly at me and wrapped his arms around me. 

''I really am sorry, '' He whispered in your ear, ''I will make it up to you. Btw I think it is really cute you wanted to suprise me." 

You sighed again, ''But now it is not a suprise anymore.''

''I can act surprised,'' Yoongi replied. 

'' You don't have to,'' You chuckled and gave a soft peck on his lips.

Some time ago I was reading about Korean dating culture and apparently, in general, it is quite common that couples break up during a fight and later get back together, while here you just don't just break up. When you break you break up, that's it. So, this one-shot is kind of inspired about what I read the other day. How is the dating culture in your country? Is it common to break up and get back together later? Or is break-up usually more serious?
