It was already 2 P.M. and I still had a lot to do. First, I had to ask for my parents' permission to go to Hawaii, and if that works out, I need to get ahold of Taehyung to invite him. It had to be done today, since we have off of school this week, and we wanted to go then. Eventually I worked up the courage to talk to my parents.

"Go to Hawaii?! What?!" My mom almost freaked out.

"Mom, please remain calm so I can explain," I said, "My friends and I won tickets to Hawaii and all we need is at least one adult to accompany us."

My dad spoke up, "Who is going to go with you then? Your mom and I are too busy to go, and so is Jin."

"Yes, I know," I replied, "That's why I found someone else who might go."

"Who?" They asked in unison.

"A friend of mine. His name is Kim Taehyung, and he works at a cafe nearby," I explained.

"No way, Y/N," my mom retorted.

"But why not?!" I desperately pleaded with her.

"Ive never met, nor heard of this guy, so hes just a stranger!" She said, "I can't just let you go to Hawaii with a grown man!"

"I'll be with Suga and Jungkook, too!"

"Wait," my dad interrupted, "It's just guys going with you? ._."

"Honey!" My mom complained, "That's not what's important here!"

"I think we should trust Y/N's judgement," my dad said calmly. I smiled, hopeful. "I get how the whole idea seems shady, but she seems to be confident about this."

My mom sighed, and stayed quiet. She was taking his words into consideration!

Please, please, please say yes...

My parents and I stood there for a while. My father and I were gave my mom time to think.

"Ok...," my mother finally spoke up.

"What? Really?" I asked, disbelieving. My mom nodded quickly, as if trying to answer before she changes her mind again.

Awesome! Now I just need to get Taehyung to come with...

I had almost forgotten that we exchanged numbers the last time at the cafe. It was good we did, too, because there was no guarantee that he'd be working that day.

While I waited for Taehyung's reply, I texted the group chat with Jungkook, Woozi, and Suga in it. I let them know that Taehyung needs to call off of work first and that we shouldn't start packing just yet.

After that little conversation, I turned on music and made my own packing list. It didn't even take me forty minutes to finish. I checked and double-checked to make sure I didn't miss anything.

Good thing the whole luxury home thing comes with free food and stuff. Otherwise we would be so dead

Conveniently enough, the vacation home had its own restaurant along with it where we could order free meals. (Cuz this totally isn't a story in which the author is being lazy and doesn't feel like touching on the money subject :))) )

I accidentally got myself super excited to go and I began anxiously waiting for Taehyung to get back to me about his work. I hovered over my phone for what felt like hours. Though, in reality, it was only about 20 minutes that I had to wait for Taehyung's reply.

I confirmed the news with the other three, and Jungkook said Jimin was definitely coming with. We worked out the time to meet at the airport.

I spent the rest of the day packing and trying to distract myself from the fact that I was the only girl going on this vacation.

It took a while to calm my anxiety. I was such a wreck, I ever started having conversations wih myself. Since I had to wake up early and was actually losing my sanity, I thought it best to go to sleep early. I didn't feel prepared for the upcoming week at all, but I could only hope it would be fun.

A/N ayyye I finished anther chapter. Yes, it was boring and I just barely missed my 1,000 word quota, but it was only supposed to be a prelude to the real fun >:3 y'all are going to Hawaii!! I'm really hoping to make the next few chapters more interesting and fun for you all! ^0^
