Chapter 21

*Wednesday*

I predicted Wednesday was going to be quite a long and tough day. Since I had to convince Suga about Jungkook, I figured I would have to deal with his wrath for at least the whole day at school.

I felt more miserable that morning because of how late I stayed up. I must've run into some good luck though, because I didn't have the same amount of people greeting me when I walked in. It was mostly just some underclassmen girls.

When I neared my classroom, Woozi had just left, closing the door behind him.

I called out to him and when he pin-pointed where I was, he approached me.

"Hey, Y/N! Did you need me for something?" He smiled.

"Why were you in our classroom? Were you talking to Suga?" I questioned.

He nodded.

"I thought I would help you get Suga to come with us," he looked down, "but he said no, and I think he got angry. Sorry, Y/N, I wasn't able to help."

"No, thank you for trying!" I smiled. "We have until the end of Friday to persuade him, and it's still only Wednesday, so let's not get disheartened just yet."

He smiled back at me, and nodded. His smile was so squishy-looking, like Suga's.

It's a very charming smile :3

I noticed only a few minutes remained till class was to start, so I said goodbye to Woozi and entered the classroom.

I passed Suga without saying a word, because he really did look angry like Woozi told me.

There was a clock on the wall, from which I checked the time. There was about 3 minutes left. I had to brave out that time by talking to Suga.

"Hey," I tapped his shoulder, "Please don't be mad, Suga. Listen to what I have to say, won't ya?"

"I already know what you want to say," he mumbled. He didn't even turn to face me. I sighed loudly, just so that he would hear.

"I don't understand why you hate Jungkook," I started, "nor do I know how he could ever hate such a cool person such as yourself."
I nudged him teasingly.
"I'm working hard to change how you view each other, because I'm going to be very honest. Jungkook is someone I don't mind being friendly with and I need my best friend to support me. Give him a chance, won't you?"

Suga turned around, agitation spread across his face. He was definitely going to turn my proposal down, but the bell stopped him from speaking.

During class I managed sneak a little note to Suga. The note read:

"So we haven't hung out lately. Let's eat lunch together today and talk, shall we?"

I watched his reaction as he read, hoping he would cheer up some. His shoulders relaxed some and what was previously a hardened glare, softened into a small smile.

Suga started writing on the paper, and when the teacher turned his back to us, he passed it back to me.

"Ok :3"

So we passed the note back and forth a few times  just casually having a conversation during class. Two seats over was Jungkook, watching the whole exchange with a frown. (😏😏😏😏😏😏😏)

At last, lunch had arrived. I saw Jungkook from the corner of my eye, getting up and turning my way. I quickly tapped Suga's shoulder.

"Let's go to the roof today, Suga!" I said loudly, hoping it would turn Jungkook away.

I did tell him that I was going to spend time with Suga instead of him, so this isn't being that mean.

After a moment of grumbling, Suga finally got out of his seat, grabbing his lunch at the same time.

We decided together to ask if Woozi wanted to join us. It didn't take too long to find him, so we spent the entire lunch time having fun and talking on the roof. I hadn't realized till then how much I missed hanging out with my friends.

The rest of the day went by like any other school day; it was boring and miserable.

I got home safely, and since Jin was home, I ate dinner with my whole family (parents, Jin, and Y/N :3). Afterward I played some Overwatch with Jungkook, then went to sleep early, around 10 P.M.

Thursday went by the same way. I went to school, nagged Suga, walked home, played video games, and fell asleep.

Plans for Saturday were all leaning on whether I could convince Suga by the end of Friday. And that day had finally arrived.

*Friday*

- I did it! I convinced Suga! He'll go with us which means- -

The piercing sound of my alarm clock woke me up. I groaned and turned it off.

It was just a dream... I have a whole day of being a nuisance to Suga to go through.

I rushed to get ready for school, because I wanted to get there early. I had to get down to business as soon as possible, right?

When I reached my classroom, there was still 15 minutes left till class starts. That meant I arrived early, 'just as planned.' (*chuckles like Light* >:3)

Before talking to Suga, I knew I needed to take a different approach than the previous days, since I clearly wasn't doing it correctly. I realized I needed to somehow stimulate his grandpa senses. I had an idea!

"Heyyyyy Sugaaaaa," I said, drawing out my greeting.

"No," he quickly retorted.

"I know I keep bothering you, man, but you gotta come with!" I shook his shoulder, trying to act desperate.

"No," he repeated the same answer he'd been giving.

I sighed and started, "Well if you don't go, then Woozi will most likely cancel," I turned away and smirked, "which means it'll just be ME and JUNGKOOK... alooooone."

I looked back at Suga to catch his reaction. I certainly wasn't disappointed. His head jolted up from his desk, and he looked at me, several emotions swirling about his face.

"Changed your mind?" I asked smugly. I probably seemed like an asshole for using that method, but it worked out in the end.

"Whatever... I'll go, geez," he frowned and laid his head back on his desk. I patted his back, feeling just slightly bad, then I smiled. My plan succeeded, after all.

"Thanks, I'll try to make it worth your while, ok?" I sat down in my seat.

I signalled to Jungkook, during class, that we got the 'ok.' He didn't seem too thrilled, but he smiled at me while I awkwardly tried to communicate with my hands.

*to be continued*

A/N so I tried setting an update schedule to speed up my writing... it didn't work XD but I think I've been updating at least a little more frequently right?

Also, some of you may have noticed I changed the style of dialogue. The role play style seemed too awkward and ugly, and it's much easier to just write like any other author would. It also makes it easier to reach my 1,000 word quota ✌

Thanks for reading! I hope you liked it, please stay updated! ♡♡♡
