Hey my lovely readers! Bongbong is back with a new chapter. In this chapter you will see how they approach their first case. Let's solve it together.

Namjoon's POV:

Reaching the bereau I and Jimin wait for Doctor Hong. Her full name is Hong Jaein. We have been standing outsode the lab for twenty minutes now but there is no sign of her. Being bored Jimin speaks," Hyung when will Noona come?" Oh well forgot to tell you but we are the same ages. Destiny right?
"Molla(몰라-i don't know)....", i reply being sulky.
"Ahh...I am so nervous already...", he fidgets with his fingers due to the nervousness of seeing Daeun.
"Yah!(야!) Don't worry! Hyung is with you", i tried to cheer him up a bit when the lobby door opens suddenly making us jump inside.
We look at the figure walking towards us with full confidence. Her long dark hair falling down her shoulders, eyes sparkling with passion, cheeks reflecting a light shade of blush, peachy lips with a small smile tugged and a bright happy face glows up our sulky moods. As she walks up to us, we bow to eachother to greet.

"Jin seonbaennim told me everything. Come with me", she says in her soft voice. Without stopping she scans her ID card which opens the door leading us inside a place we would never want to be at. There lies a five dead bodies chained up in plastic bags, many glass tables full of chemicals, test tubes, gloves, other equipments.

Walking ahead she stops in front of one of the tables and opens a drawer, taking out a folder.
"All the informations are here in this folder printed. Now i will explain to you every detail i found out", she says handing me the folder.
"Ye", i agree.
"So her time of death was around 11pm and i found some blood stains on her clothes and teeth. The one on her clothes are her but on the teeth,it's DNA doesn't match with Daeun's", explains Doctor Hong perfectly.
"So the blood on her teeth is of the murderer?", asks Jimin concentrating on every word she speaks.
"Pretty much like that only. She might have bit him to free herself", Doctor Hong replies nodding in agreement.
"Also i found dried mud on her clothes. Was she around any wet ground or soil....the soil was hardened at that time so it must be from earlier...anything like that?", Doctor Hong asks as I and Jimin look at each other.
"She was on a paved road so there wouldn't be any wet soil and also it did'nt rain that much to wet the soil...just some drops", i impose thinking about the situation. "Could it be possible that the soil came from the murderers?", asks a curious and anxious Jimin.
"Can be possible", says Doctor Hong.
"The knife i was given had only Daeun's blood", she adds.
"Can we see the knife?", I ask as i realise something.
"Well....hmm i'll get it", she nods looking at me surprised and leaves to get the knife. She goes through a couple of drawers and walks back to us when she finds the knife. The knife is packed inside a transparent packet with all the informations about the evidence written on it.

"It's been a while the police left it here but are going to come to collect it today. You got lucky i guess", she says smiling at us.
"Take this with you, i will manage the them with my amazing excuses as always", she smirks and hands me the knife.
"It won't help us if we just take it, why don't you run some tests and tell us about it?", i suggest.
"I would love to but if anyone finds out i am helping on a case which may or may not become unofficial then my job's on stake", she says with a apologetic expression.

"Aniyeyo( no ) it's okay. Just you helping us with this much is a lot", Jimin says with his eye smile. Surely he knows how to be cheezy.
"Aigoo...you sure are cute. Just like seonbaenim says", she comments ruffling Jimin's hair. Jimin smiles cheekily before asking,"Hyung said I am cute?"
"Yes"

I feel a bit uncomfortable seeing those two being lovey dovey and quickly change the topic," So any fingerprints you found?" I don't know why but I felt a bit jealous seeing her flirting with my brother.
Dr. Hong looks startled after my sudden coldness in the voice. She nods and says," The fingerprints on her belongings are her, Jimin's and probably one of them".
She stops and then looks at Jimin again," Were you present there when this happened?"
Jimin looks down whispering," If only I was there...."
"I'll tell you about it later. So we will take our leave now", I quickly interrupt in between knowing what Jimin is feeling. She understands and opens the door of the lab for us. I take Jimin by his hand and walks out the laboratory.

All the boys leave for their works leaving two of them squirming on their chairs out of boredom. Their eyes are frozen on the screen infront of them which shows shadowed pictures of people walking through a street. It's the street where the crime happened that night. It has been few days but they are determined to find anything that would help the case. For two hours they haven't moved from their places and just then Jin's voice can be heard,"Right there! STOP!" Hobi pauses the video coming out of his coma-like scenario. "It's Daeun. Look she has the violin with her", Jin says still looking at the footage. But then a frown shows up on their face.

"Why is she standing there...", Hobi thinks out loud and just then in the footage she takes out her phone calling someone. "Did you notice? She is continuosly looking behind", points out Jin making Hobi nod his head. "Someone must be following her", he adds. Daeun's lips move for a second but then it looks like the call cuts off as she tries to do something with her phone vigorously. Probably hurrying up to call someone. But then two men come up from behind and grab her. Reflex action makes Hobi turn his head the other way. But Jin doesn't being professional in his job. He pauses the video with a tik sound feom the keyboard and speaks again," Look closely one of them is masked and the other with a cap...if we concentrate on the cap guy maybe we can see who he is". Hobi turns around cautiously. Thsy take a screenshot of the clip.  "So at this time after the crime what should you do next?", asks Jin trying to make Hoseok answer. Hobi furrows his eyebrows ans hesitantly answers,
" uh...follow where they go?" Jin claps his hand getting the perfect answer.

They look at the other footages of streets leading to that street and as expected soon find the two men walking through one of them. "Dol road ( stone road )", Hobi exclaims out.
"Eo?...there is no more footage after passing that house...", soon his excited face falls down in worry. Jin quickly checks other footages but can't find them anymore. They both sigh in defeat.
"Let's inform Jungkook and Tae about the phone call and investigate this place"

It's night time when a professional detective and a newly born detective baby walks out of their car and reach towards the crime scene place. It's a bit chilly because of the rain this morning which shoots goosebumps throughout their body.
"Weather is not on our side today", exclaims a freezing Hobi.
They both stop at the opposite side of the labels of crime scene sign. Jin lifts it up and lowering his body he enters the no entry zone. Hobi slowly follows in.
"Put these gloves on, switch on your torch and start looking around", he ordered. Hobi does accordingly and bends down as he sees a pen lying in the grass. He suspects it and then reaches for it with his gloved up hand.
"Stop!!!", Jin shouts making Hobi jump in fear.
"What!?", he shouts back at the older.
"Forgot to tell you...don't change the positions of the evidence until necessary", Jin says calming down a bit knowing he scared his brother.

"But why would Team 5 leave such a solid evidence here though?", Hobi asks looking confused at the shiny metal pen. "You found something as soon as we stepped here?!", Jin asks in shock more than in curiosity as if he is questioning his own detective skills.
Leaving the jokes apart he comes closer to the pen and lifts it up inspecting it with his eagle eyes which are not really required from this distance.
"How did they forget this...", he thinks out loud sensing something fishy.
He pulls out a transparent bag for evidences and siezes the pen in it.

He takes out his phone and calls someone. Ring ring ring ring~~
"Jisoo? Did you guys not investigate the place properly!!!!!!", he shouts through the phone. Yes, he is that strict when it comes to work. "Why Senior inspecter?", Jisoo's voice comes out weakly from fear. "There's a freaking pen lying on the crime scene!!!! How could you not see when a non-detective person could see it so easily?!", he increases his volume again. "Oh? Really? I'm so sorry...i will talk with Teamjangnim about it and tell you", he speaks hurriedly. "Do it!!!", Jin ends the call. He brushed his hair back and looks at his side to see a shortened Hobi from all the shoutings. "Hyung...you are scary...", Hobi says softly with a blank face. "Hyung was always scary. Just you guys didn't notice", Jin says in third person. "By the way...were you jealous that I found the clue and not a detective like you?", Hobi teases him still maintaining a distance. "Yahhhhh!!!!!!"

Bongbong is curious now. So how did they miss out such big thing right there? Was it a mistake or something else? Comment what you think...
