Narrator's POV:

After all those incidents they finally go back to Seoul starting their own ways to find Cape. Being back now Seokjin gathers every information required and every connection to get all the things he needs for his investigation.

*In the Police station*

"Have you gotten any call from Senior Inspector, Kim Seokjin shi?", asks Captain Lee to the members of his team.
They all at once say,"Not yet sir!".
The captain nods a few times before saying,
" Then i will call him and ask how he wants us to do it".
"Yes sir!", Jisoo replies loudly with his low pitched voice. This voice can shock you to death or can even give a heart attack. Scared by the voice Captain turns to look at him to which he only smiles innocently.
"Why are you so loud gosh?", captain asks himself not letting anyone hear it.
Just like that he again turns around and picks up phone to call Jin. Waiting for few seconds finally the call is recieved.
A refreshing voice can be heard from the other said as Jin speaks,
" Yebeoseyo( Hello)?"
"Senior Inspector, we are going to start our investigation from today. We have collected almost every evidence. Are you going to investigate too?", asks captain Lee.
"Ye! I want you to look further in the recording sent to the police station and Hyerin's case. Also let's support eachother and share every information so that we reach the culprit fast", Jin's voice comes out through the phone.
"Ye! Let's do that way then", replies Teamjang as he cuts the call and looks up at the team members.
"Take everything you need about Cape's video and Hyerin's case to the meet up room now!", he orders moving out from the room already. They all loudly agree in unison before collecting everything and leaving.

Jin's POV:

"Guys! Come to the basement room now!", I shout at the others who are looking up at me for any instructions.
"We are going to do this investigation all together", i say as they now nod understanding what i meant earlier.

I open the basement door after a long time. Last time it was somewhere around 2017 for a serial murder case. I am glad to have such a supportive family who always help me through out my investigations. I climb down the black ladder reaching down to the front door of basement. I enter my passcode and let the door open by itself. As soon as i enter the 7 year old basement, strong biblichor like old books hit my nose.
Going around the corner i switch on the electricity and the room lits up in light. The center woodden table and seven chairs around it brings back certain memories of the last case for which i had to come here to investigate hiding from the world.
None of my brothers have actually investigated officially in my basement ever. This is going to be their first time down here. This room has everything needed for ivestigation with some little forensic tools and chemicals as well. This room itself is a mystery to my family. They don't know why was this room last used and who even made this for me. The time is close when they will come to know everythig.
It's close.

Just when i am lost in my thoughts some maniacs barge in from the front door startling me. There they are, my maniacs. They seem excited with their smirky and overconfident faces scanning every inch of this dark basement.
"Waah...ige mwoya!?( wow...what in the world is this!?), comments an open mouthed shortie, Jiminie.
"Oh hyung! Do you really investigate here?", says Tatae. I smile at their shocked cute faces looking like a child exploring the new world he has taken birth into.
"Jinja daebakiya( seriously amazing!)!, exclaims kookie. I knew these three will be the only ones to be so dumbstruck to see all these.
"Are you done? Now come here", i say as i see that we can't waste much time. They all gather near the big table but i see from the corner of eyes that Tae is about to try to open a door which he shouldn't.
"Ya! Don't open that door. I am telling you all to never open it. Okay?", i say feeling a bit nervous. They can't enter the room yet. They nod being a little confused but they take there seats anyways.

"So now listen to me well." They all nod. "From today the only target of you all is to find the culprit at any cost because our lives are at his hand right now. He maybe has an eye on us already but not here so any information needed to be shared should be either on phone or inside the house or anywhere where he can't see or even hear you." They look at me with full concentration, taking in each and every word.
"I have already talked to Captain Lee. We have decides that we will be investigating Daeun's and the park case while they will do the rest. Starting from now i want you all to write down every clue or any info or any doubt in your mind in that diary infront of you". They have a look at the diaries infornt of them and then look back at me.
"The laptop infront of you guys will be storing every information that i will send you. You can also check anything up on internet as well."
"Okay hyung!", they reply at once.
"Not hyung anymore. It's Detective Kim now." They make a carppy face probably mocking my confidence but nevermind. "Anyways Jimin!"
"Yes?"
"I want you to make slides on word document about this investigation. Also update it everyday. Okay?"
"Okay Detective Kim!" Well that makes me proud even if a little bit.
"Namjoon and Yoongi ! I want you guys to take care of the hacking and mental work which you can do it very well i know." "Ahh...thankyou hyungnim", says Namjoon while yoongi just nods. This guy!!....control seokjin-ah! Control! Anyhow i continue with my instructions.
"Jungkookie you know what you need to do right?"
"Yes"
"Hmm so whenever i ask you go undercover then"
"ye hyungnim( yes brother)".
"Lastly Hobi and Taetae. You two will always accompany me out whenever needed"
" yes!", they cheerfully speak.

"Now i have already sent you all the evidences in your laptop. Have a look and note down anything you need or need to do. I need your honest opinions here. I will be back from hospital to assign a nurse for Hyerin. She shouldn't know anything about this. I will come back at 10 so till then complete your work. You have time till 10 pm and now it's 6 am so start right away. ", i say lastly as i exit the basement. Making my way up the ladders, i call the nurse i have appointed for Hyerin. "Hmm I am coming", i speak into the phone.

Namjoon's POV:

"So shijakhaja! Hwaiting!( so let's start! Let's get it!) ", i cheered everyone up as we start looking into the files and images given to each one of us. I have never been so excited like this. The informations are quite precise and formal. I wonder what it would be like to encounter a criminal(bheomin in korean).

"I am getting so confused...i don't think it is this way...what should i do!", screams Hobi not being able to understand the situation at all. "Haha I am the golden maknae and the best CI( criminal informant) in this area. I am going to finish this first!!", brags the one only Jungkookie. "Yeah i mean it is true that you are the 'Golden' maknae but i have the fastest and the smartest brain", i say feeling a bit insecure. "But i have the sexiest brain!", comments Taetae. "So what?...i have my hope with me", counter attacks Hobi feeling left out. "Tae and I are going to do this together and will be the first for sure", says Jimin. "Yeah and not to forget but i used to be 1st in my class. Also I have a lucky handsome face of Taehyung with me", Jimin supports Tae. "And i have a gun so if you all don't shut up I am murdering all of you right now!!", threatens suga hyung...no actually he clearly attacks. Everyone's gaze land on hyung as he is focused on the screen. "Hyung...you really don't have one do you? ", asks Taetae innocently. Suga hyung looks up at him with his intense murdering gaze on him. We all gulp and concentrate back at our screens where as Taetae stutteringly says,
" umm...hwai-hwaiting...yeah hwaiting!".

Jin's POV:

"Take good care of her please", i tell the nurse in charge of Hyerin-ah. She is from Seoul's famous hospital. We have brought Hyerin to a new place which is in the countryside. She will be safe here with security outside and a responsible nurse to take care of her. This place is in Gwangju's countryside. It takes time to come here but still for her safety travelling this much won't matter. It's a nice and cozy place to live where tall green trees stand, bright sun shines, butterflies roams around, birds chirruping, squirrels playing, sounds of tractors running across the field, smell of traditional food, the petrichor essence when it rains and two warm hands of our halmoni to caress her head. I brought halmoni here as well so that there's someone i can leave Hyerin with.

"Ye", answers the nurse who is wipping her arms with soft fabric dipped in warm water. Hyerin opens her eyes because of our voice.
"Oppa?", she smiles at me. I pat her hair softly," eotte jigeum?( how is it now?)". "It just hurts a little...besides that i am feeling really good", she speaks giggling happily. And so it's right that nothing you wear is much important than smile. It takes a moment to smile but the memory of it lasts forever. The feeling a mother gets when she sees her child shinning amongst all is what i am feeling now. Maybe she doesn't know what parents mean but we will never make her feel alone.
We will be always together....forever.

"Oppa?", she calls me as i come back from my thoughts.
"Eo?"
"Can't you bring everyone here?", she requests with those puppy eyes that gets me everytime but i have to hold myself back. I can't let us near her more often or else Cape might find out about her. When i am deep inside lost in my thoughts again she tugs on my shirt pulling me close to gain my attention back.
"Wae kuraeyo?( what's wrong?)", she asks worriedly. I look at her sighing in defeat, "Arasso( okay)...i will bring them too but just wait some days".
"Gomawoyo( thankyou)!", she says in a low soft voice and just then halmoni enters the room with some fruits cut in a plate.

Looking at the plate Hyerin whines,
"Tto( again?)....waeeeeeeee( whyyyyyy)....i don't like those please". "Yah...you have to eat so as to become healthy", i stated in annoyance. "Eo...exactly", halmoni supports me. "Ani jinjja( like seriously!)....all i have been eating is green vegies, fruits, soups and all the shits", she adds looking away. "Yah! Language!!!...what do you mean by shits?!", i shout angrily. "Waahh...you don't know shits?...don't hold it in for long constipated oppa", she throws at me like knives. "Aigo...seriously you are being arrogant now", i say getting a little upset by her behaviour. "Okay okay stop stop stop...let's not fight. Jin-ah take it easy. After all she is being impatient having lying down all day", halmoni tries to calm me down. I look at Hyerin and she smirks at me knowing i can't say anymore infront of halmoni. She always gets away like this. Just a moment ago i was being emotional and now look at this little rude creature.
She needs holy manners!

Jimin's POV:

I stand up from my seat to take a little break from all these. "Hyung eodi gayo(where are you going?)?", asks Jungkook as i turn back.
"Washroom"
"Arasseoyo...bring my banana milk with you"
"Aish! Arasseo!", this man is still a kid.
I walk up the ladders. I went into the washroom locking the door. Turning around i collapse on the floor crying. Looking at the pictures and those men doing all those things to her makes my blood boil. But all i can feel is sorry for her, sorry that i couldn't be with her, if only i walked her back home like everyday... But i was busy planning to propose to her that i couldn't take her home. I regret everything, everything.
I pant heavily looking for air because of my frustration and anger. Holding the side bar and putting pressure on it, I try to calm myself down. I couldn't sit and watch all that while try not to cry infront of others. I don't want to distract or make them worried about me again.
I breathe slowly slowly thinking, " I'll do everything to get the one who is responsible for this, the one who took you away from me".
Getting up from the floor i wash my face with water and open the door getting out. I take the banana milk with me as i go back into the basement.

Jisoo's POV:

"Hyung! Yeogiaeyo!( I am here)", lifting my right hand up, i wave at hyung who is currently standing beside his car looking every way. He looks at me and checking both ways he crosses the road to come up to me.
I smile as i handover the files to him, "igeo( this)".
He takes them and opens them to check the pages a bit. After a minute he nods and turns around to go back but i nervously interupt him.
"Hyung!", i call out gathering my confidence. He looks back at me with a questioning face waiting for me to speak up.
"Hyung...ah..actually the head is pressuring our team to close the case again", i say looking down in disappointment.
"Lee teamjangnim said there is a possibility that we might have to close it down", i continue in a small voice.
"Eo?....you mean someone's from the high is threatening you guys?", he asks in confusion.
"Ahh well not a threat but yeah maybe. Teamjangnim said that if we don't close it our jobs will be at stake", i answer him.
"Oh! Don't worry, i'll see what i can do. For now just continue anyhow", he instructs patting my back for reassurance. I nod in agreement as he leaves already.

Suga's POV:

"So i think we all got it right? So let's wrap it u-
"What's up kids?",there enters Jin hyung already. It's not even 10 yet and he is already here. Can this man be a little less punctual!? Nevermind!
"Here you go kids", hyung puts a big bag on the table which makes a familiar sound.
"Snack?!", yells Tae jumping out from his seat in excitement. We all look at hyung in surprise as he returns back a huge smile.
"Hyung is great you know. He can't make you guys do hard work for nothing", he praises himself showing off some hand moves in a cool way.

He can be so caring sometimes and really scary too. Well we all gather around the bag with lustful eyes as if a lion would look at his prey. And just like a lion we all rush our hands on the bag taking whatever comes to our hand, almost making the table a mess.
"Yah yah yah!!!! My beautiful table!!!", cries Jin hyung whereas we all stuff our mouths with the snacks not even bothering to look at him.
"Aigoo aigoo! Even dogs are better...", he sighs looking at our actions.

Taehyung's POV:

"Good you have got everytime stuffed in your minds! Sugohaesseo!( good work)", hyung praises us as we finish telling him all we understood.
"So let me tell you one thing. This investigation might be all upon us and probably an unofficial one so be prepared for not getting any help from the police", he states leaving our mouths hung open. He told us that the other team will help us in everyway and that we can contact them to get any information but now what is going on I have no idea.
"Hyung? Did something happen?....i mean you told us to get every help from them and now this...", i ask as everyone waits patiently for his answer.
"The department is pressuring for the case to be closed. They threatened them that they may lose the job if they continue. I will talk to Section chief Moon Nayeon tomorrow but maybe someone else is behind this because i have know her for long time and she is not the type to do something like this", hyung explains it to us as we all nod looking at eachother.
"They will continue for now but it's better to be prepared in case", he stops as smiles assuring us.
"How is Hyerin?", i ask hyung remembering he came back from there.
"She is feeling much better and also we don't have to worry because halmoni is with her. I hope you guys understand and not go near her for now. Cape might find her location", he says amd we all nof feeling a bit releived.
"So...let me divide you the work", he says in a serious tone.
And this is the part I am most excited about. Finally I am investigating like a real detective. But i have to take this seriously because many lives can be affected by a small mistake.

I listen carefully to what Jin hyung commands, " Namjoon and Jimin, you two will go with Doctor Hong to collect the clues from the bureau and discuss everything you want to know about the situation with her".
"Her?....a woman?", asks Namjoonie hyung. This man seriously! Can he stop being a pervert!?
"Yes... and I hope you won't do or say anything to make her feel uncomfortable. Protect my image please!", seokjin hyung requests as we all laugh at him.
"Jimin-ah? Are you okay with it?", hyung asks knowing that he may breakdown seeing Daeun.
"Eo...gwaenchannayo!", he replie giving back a reassuring smile.
"Okay then. I have already told her that you will be going so reach there by 8 in the morning tomorrow", he confirms.

"Now Jungkook and.....and...."
I look at hyung with puppy eyes to be partnered with kookie because we get along so well. He looks at me and then sighs knowing what i want.
" and...Taehyung"
Yes!!!
"You both go to the Ciber crime department and get the transactions, call list and every information about Daeun's phone. But kookie-ah don't reveal your identity even to police, you know that."
"Ne detective Kim", we both yell at the same time.
"Joah( good)!!!", exclaims hyung looking at us addressing him as detective Kim.

"So Suga...since you are much more older than the kids and have maturity but a little less than me...so go to Ilsan and investigate about Hyerin's case. I am afraid they might close that case too if it's realted to Daeuns's case"
"Yeah...I am pretty sure it is ", Yoongi hyung nods in agreement.
"Also...hmm nevermind I am not sure yet...iltan irokhe haja( let's do this way first )", Jin hyung then looks at Hobi hyung.

"And lastly I and Hobi will go and find out about the masked men in the cctv footage."
"Okay!", yells Hobi hyung.

Now that everything has been set, what new things are they going to discover? Will they get in any kind of trouble whike investigating this? Will Cape keep quite during all this time? Questions are many but the answer is one and that is patience. Have patience with BongBong!! See you later!!
