Transfiguration and Quidditch
Namjoon was studying for a Transfiguration test in the library. He loved the Hogwarts library with all his heart, and when he wasn't in the Potions classroom, experimenting, he was in the library reading. He was very rarely found in the Gryffindor Common Room, and even there, he always sat by the fire, buried in books, never giving up a chance to learn about the wonders of this magical world that he had been invited to when he was eleven. He had been at the top of his class ever since he had started school at Hogwarts, and he wanted it to remain that way.
This deviation from stereotypical behaviour led to his classmates leaving him in isolation for a while, in the beginning. But slowly, his near perfect personality made people gravitate to him like a moth to a flame. He had a pleasant word for all he met, and he radiated an aura of kindness and quiet confidence.
Right now, as he sat reading through the history of some transfiguration spells, he became aware of the fact that he was being watched. He slowly stretched his arms, popping his joints, and rolled his head back. Then he continued reading what he had been so focused on. He had seen all he had to.
At some distance, a young Ravenclaw boy, probably in his third year, was looking at Namjoon nervously. He took a step forward, shook his head and walked away. Then he came back, hovered around the shelves for a bit, looking at the spines of books that were far too advanced for his years. He kept sneaking glances at Namjoon, as though he wanted to say something, but he was being ridiculously hesitant. Namjoon watched this little boy and his antics with amusement, out of the corner of his eye. Finally, not being able to watch him suffer anymore, he turned his head first left then right, as though he were stretching his tired muscles.
As his head turned in the boy's direction, the two of them made eye contact and the Ravenclaw seemed to freeze. Namjoon found it ridiculously adorable. Finally, deciding to put him out of his misery, he smiled.
"Hello there! What's your name?"
The young Ravenclaw's eyes widened and he struggled to answer clearly, "J-Jeon Jungkook, Sir... uh... hyung... sorry, sunbaenim."
Namjoon shut the book in front of him and motioned for Jungkook to join him at the table. The little boy cautiously approached the Gryffindor and sat down on the edge of the empty chair. Namjoon thought with amusement that if he happened to say 'boo' suddenly, he wouldn't be surprised if Jungkook bolted straight out of the library within seconds.
"What have you got there?"
Jungkook looked startled. He glanced down at the book he was hugging to his chest, then he looked back up at Namjoon. The Gryffindor thought he caught a glimpse of admiration and awe in those big doe eyes. He smiled gently and stretched out his hand for the book.
Jungkook handed it to him, slightly hesitant. Namjoon looked at the cover and flipped through the pages, "Transfiguration, huh? You like the subject?"
Jungkook shook his head.
Namjoon's warm eyes were slowly helping the Ravenclaw relax a little. He spoke, unsure of how to phrase what he wanted to say, "S-Sunbaenim, I've heard a-a lot about yo-you from the professors... um... and I was wondering... well, I was wondering if... you see, I'm not very good at the theory of magic and-"
"Would you like me to help?"
A rather massive sigh of relief escaped Jungkook's lips, "Well, yes, if it isn't too much trouble."
"Of course not." Namjoon's kind smile made Jungkook wonder what he had been so nervous about. Of course, he had found out a lot about the other boy from the professors and other Gryffindors, and everyone had spoken about what a helpful soul he was. He smiled for the first time that evening.
Namjoon's eyes crinkled and a dimple showed on his cheek as his smile widened. He knew of Jeon Jungkook. Everyone did. The Ravenclaw Quidditch team hadn't seen such a fantastic player in a very long time. Perhaps he would open up if they spoke about something he loved.
"So, Jungkook, what inspired you to start playing Quidditch?"
Jungkook's eyes lit up at the question, "My father loves watching the matches and I guess I've developed a fascination for it. It's just a massive stroke of luck that I happen to be talented at it."
Namjoon was impressed at his modesty. He questioned further, "Which team do you support?"
"The Holyhead Harpies, of course! They were at their highest when Ginny Weasley was Chaser."
Namjoon grinned in satisfaction as Jungkook rambled on about the wonders of Quidditch and what a brilliant player and sports magazine editor Ginny Weasley was. After a while, the Gryffindor tutored the Ravenclaw in Transfiguration.
That day saw the birth of a new friendship.

Sunbae-nim- something you'd call your senior
Ginny Weasley and Quidditch- {from Harry Potter wikia}
"After the Second Wizarding War, Ginny became a professional Quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies for several years. At some point she and Harry were married and her last name became Potter. She eventually retired and the couple had a family. She later became the senior Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
In her capacity as Quidditch correspondent Ginny attended the 2014 Quidditch World Cup in the Patagonian Desert. While here, she wrote several articles for the Daily Prophet using her married name, Ginny Potter. Her family joined her to watch the finals of the Cup in July and she covered the outcome of the Brazil vs Bulgaria match live along with Rita Skeeter. Rita while in the journalists' enclosure repeatedly made corrections to Ginny's reports. This continued until shortly after the match ended, Rita remarked that her husband Harry Potter was "publicity-hungry" — just as Ginny was approaching. Rita was taken "unaccountably ill" with what some called "a jinx to the solar plexus".
By 2020 Ginny was the sports editor for the Daily Prophet, while her husband was promoted to Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement."
I absolutely adore Ginny.
