The red dashes on your digital clock flash to a new hour. You glance to the clock now reading 11:00PM. A loud sigh leaves your lips as you abruptly slam your binder shut. Even if there was more work to do, it's terribly late and you shouldn't be cooped up in here. It's already been countless hours of dumb work. There has to be some way to relax and not here.

The bitter coffee you had earlier has made you bitter too, also preventing you from sleeping anytime soon. You stand and stuff the binder in your bag, slinging it over your shoulder. Maybe you don't have to do something but go somewhere relaxing. As you walk out of your office and out of the mafia building, you think of one place.

A breeze invites you to the outside as you walk away from the tall and still busy building. Honestly, only workaholics (and alcoholics) would still be doing important work at this hour. You shake your head and begin walking towards Kanagawa Park. The park has a special place in your heart as a peaceful and relaxing night journey. Just the thought is enough to put a smile on your face. The park is so beautiful especially as the moon shines over it.

You look down to the sidewalk, trying to just wipe away all the worries of work. After all, maybe you'll see a cute animal or-

Suddenly, a figure stops you in your tracks as you run into it. The collision arises your irritability from before as you hiss.

"oW watch it, lamppost!!" You snap and rub your forehead. Finally looking up, you pause and stare at the man before you.

"Dazai, it's y-you!" You lower your hand over your cheeks to hide a blush. It just so happens the mysterious man would be here. Of all times why now? Despite being friends on opposing sides, you have developed a deep crush on the man.

"Lamppost?" He grins and stuffs his hands into his trenchcoat pockets.

"Well.." You look up at him and blush more. His features really do look good toned by the moonlight.

"Somebody's grumpy~ And alone hm?" Dazai reaches forward and pulls your hand down from your face. You nod slowly as whatever soured your mood is forgotten of. Maybe not something or somewhere to help you relax. It's someone.

"This is a lovely place after all. Walk with me?" He smiles down at you, making your heart flutter. You're never this emotional around him. It's crazy to see just what his appearance can do to you.

"S-sure." You smile back and he releases your hand, turning on one foot to walk in the park. You catch up to his long strides and place your hands behind your back as you walk.

"How's detective work?" The brisk question floats in the air for a little until Dazai answers with his usual response.

"It's alright, (y/n). Usually the same." You nod and stare at the sidewalk underneath you.

"You don't have to be so tense." He's right. You relax your arms by your side and look around at your surroundings. The trees and its shadows are shaded blue under the moonlight. All critters usually scampering in the park are now asleep in the peaceful cover of night.

After a while on the same path Dazai begins to walk out of the park.

"Eh? Where are we going?" You look up to his expression which only shows a faint smile.

"It's the same greenery. Follow me here!" You chuckle and follow the mysterious man some more.

"Hmm okay.."

The man walks up to the edge and looks below him at the water.

"God, Dazai please don't jump off. I'm tired." He chuckles briefly at your honestly and leans over the railing, peering out at the view.

"I'm not. Come look at the moon with me." You stare at him and slowly walk next to where he is standing. He seems very relaxed you notice.

"You've been pretty stressed hm?" His head tilts up to admire the large, blue moon. Your gaze follows to stare at the night sky.

"Oh, well yeah.." You lean on the railing as he does and sigh. Dazai opens his mouth yet you stop him with your own voice.

"I'm not coming to the ADA." His head tilts but he hums in acknowledgement.

"Hmm you're very observant. How'd you know I'd ask?"

"....because I want to give anything to be with you too. I knew you would ask, but I just can't risk that now." The truth leaves your lips. If you were higher up it would be easier to leave and not get killed, but you don't think of yourself near as skilled as an executive.

"Hm. I understand." Dazai pulls back and turns to you. A cold hand slides up against your cheek making you turn to the man. Your eyes meet his in the silence. The only sound is below you, of the water under the bridge. Before you know, Dazai is leaning down giving you no time to react. His lips meet yours in a gentle kiss.

The soft lips move perfectly against your own, in a kiss only a man like him could give. You are completely enamored. His arm slips around your waist as he pulls you closer the smallest bit. His kiss leaned your lips and he trails pecks up your cheek to your ear. Dazai opens his mouth and huskily whispers,

"If you can't come to the ADA...why don't you relax with me and spend the night?"

Oh boy I really hope this is what you wanted!! I dunno about it but I do like the end!
