Chapter 1
(I'm gonna say that Muzan's defeat was somewhere in 1918, 1912-1926 is the Taisho period which is where it took place)
I took a sip of my black tea, humming at the delicious astringent taste that flows over my tongue and the warm, steamy feeling traveling down my throat. I set my cup down as I continued to read my book, a heartfelt smile gracing my lips as I reminisce about the past. Today was the very day my little brother was defeated exactly a century ago, and although I feel pity and sadness in 3 of my hearts, my other 2 hearts feel joy that it's another year to be free.
The memory of when I was just a savage demon that worked under my brother, killing and devouring humans all because I had a broken heart that I suffered from one thousand, seven hundred, and seventy-three years ago. Honestly, I don't get what I even saw in him, I should've seen the signs; it was completely one-sided on my part. But, I've moved on when I opened my eyes, stopped killing humans, and joined the Demon Slayers. It was hard to gain their trust considering my rank among the demons, but it was worth it; his corrupt reign needed to end, for both humanity and the demons he made fear him.
I took out a metal vial, thinking I could at a bit of sweetening, I poured a bit of blood into the tea and stirred it with a small metal spoon. Although, I swore to never kill humans - ones that don't give me a reason to - the blood does taste exquisite; it's nice to have a supplier at a blood bank, they owed me a favor for saving them- their words, not mine. I raised the teacup to my lips for a sip, that was until I felt a presence. "Hello, Gojo." I greeted, closing my eyes as I set the teacup back on its saucer.
I opened my eyes to see the young man sitting across me with a big, closed-mouth smile with the back of his hands supporting his head as he leaned forward on the tablecloth. His snow-white hair, that looks spiky thanks to his black blindfold propping his bangs up, reflecting the sun's beams off of 'em. "What bring you to grace me with your presence today, hmm?" I teasingly ask, placing my bookmark between the pages and set it down as I closed it, placing my hands in my lap and looked back up at him with my plum red eyes.
"I just wanted to hang out with my favorite demon; is that too much to ask, dearie?" He playfully questioned, crossing his arms over the tablecloth to support his weight as he leaned closer to the table. I chuckled, picking up me teacup to have a taste, the once dark and bitter tea not having a slight sweet taste to mix with it. "It depends if that actually is your intention, or you must want something from me or me to do something for you." I remarked, setting the cup back down. "I just wanted you to go shopping for kikufuku mochi with me. Who knows, I might even give you fair share." He suggested. "And you don't have anything other to do?" I asked with genuine curiosity. "Nah! Free as a bird, darling!" He chirped, giving me finger guns - as the humans of this generational era calls it.
"So, what do'ya say?" He urged, leaning back in his chair with his arms crossed over his chest. I jokingly hummed in thought, like I was thinking it over when I already made my choice as I picked up my teacup and drank the last bit of what it contained. "Sure." I said, picking up my book as I got up. "Alright, that's wonderful to hear! Let's go!" He happily exclaimed, wrapping an arm around my shoulders, making me jump in surprise before I adjusted my black boater hat - with big fake white roses lining up around the trim - as we walked away from the cafe.

In between now and then, after the defeat of Muzan, you had watched the members of the Demon Slayer Corp. live and die, some having children while others lived the rest of their life alone.
It was only a couple of years later when you came across and found out that they weren't the only, secret, organization that kept the peace between humans and the threat of what majority of most can't see called curses.
I was given the pardon of mercy for assistance for good behavior, in exchange, I would work with them. It was only later when it was a shock to all, even myself, that my old, first love that had broken my heart was the very thing they locked away with talesmen; Ryomen Sukuna. They were a bit wary of me after that, but it was cleared up when they saw my distain for even the mention of his name.
That night when I discovered him and that mistress had haunted me, especially when it was the same day I turned into a demon. But I'm now glad that I left, he didn't care for me then, so why should I care for him now?
It was a lesson that I learned the hard way, and I am thankful because I wouldn't be where I am now; having the happy ending to my story until I decide to be no more, especially when Tanjiro showed me the location of the Blue Spider Lilies. I remember being shocked that his very mother, the one that Muzan killed, just served it to her children to consume on a silver platter like it were a regular Tuesday. Bless him and his sister's kind hearts.
I even remember declining the antidote offer to become human again, saying that I must live with the consequences of the actions I made with a broken heart all those years ago. And even though I have every right to be upset at my little brother, it's our sibling bond that makes me miss him, and being a demon is the only thing I have left of him.
And one of the things I'm glad about is that I get to eat and drink human things again.

It was now nighttime, and we finally got the kikufuku mochi. He passed me one, and I gratefully accepted his offer, biting into the sweet confection as we walked down the sidewalk. I heard Gojo hum in thought before snapping his fingers. "Now I remember what I forgot!" He exclaimed. I hummed in confusion. "A special grade cursed object went missing that Megumi was sent after, and the higher ups wanted me to check it out. Silly me!" He informed with a chipper tone. I stared at him like he just spouted some king of bullcrap.
A vein bulged on my temple in anger, and in response, I harshly bonked his head. "You idiot! You let a child do this all on his own?! Especially after a special grade cursed object?!" I scolded. "Chill out, it's only Sukuna's finger." He said, waving his hands with an expression that stands for without a care in the world. Another vein bulged on my head, making me bonk his head harder, except it was blocked by his infinity. "Forget stupidity, you're the definition, the personification of a complete damn knucklehead!" I shouted, attempting to break through his infinity.
"Teleport us to him, right now!" I demanded. "Okay, okay- geez! After all these years, you still can't take a joke." He laughed before putting a hand on my shoulder. The next thing I know, we're on a school rooftop.
"What's the situation?" Gojo asked. "Huh? Satoru Gojo? Y/n Kibutsuji? What are you doing here?" Megumi questioned in surprise. "Hey. I wasn't planning on showing up, but Y/n forced me to go when she found out." Gojo explained. "It's your responsibility, do it." I grumbled, rolling my eyes as I put a hand on my hip and sided-eyed him. "Man, you're really messed up. I should show all the second years. Say cheese!" Gojo said, pulling out his phone and started taking multiple pictures until I smacked it out of his hand. "Man, you're no fun, Y/n."
"Anyway, I got an earful from the higher-ups 'cause the special grade cursed object's still missing. Thought I'd bring the little rose along with me for a little sightseeing and stop by. So, did you find it yet?" Gojo explained then popped up the big question.
"Uh..." A voice spoke up, causing the two of us to turn our heads to a spiky, pink haired boy that has no shirt that shows of his muscular build, and a bit of blood below the left corner of his lips, along with two scars below his eyes. "Sorry, but I ate that thing."
It feels like as if time froze itself at that bit of information. "Really?" Satoru questioned. "Please tell me that your joking." I pleaded.
"He did."
"I did."
Gojo walked over to get a closer look. "Damn, it really did combine with you. That's hilarious." He chuckles, backing away. "And what part of this situation makes this funny?" I asked, crossing my arms. "It's funny because the curse in question is your poor ex that fumbled you so hard all those centuries ago." He continued to laugh, wrapping an arm around my shoulders.
I scoffed, pushing him away before approaching the unfortunate boy. "Do you feel anything weird about your body?" I asked in concern for him, hold my hands in front of my chest. "Nah, seems okay." The boy says, moving his arms and legs to prove a point. "Well, that's good to hear, child." I said, lowering my hands down.
"Can you swap out with Sukuna at will?" Gojo asked. "Sukuna?" The boy repeated in confusion and unfamiliarity. "Yeah, the curse you ate." Gojo reminded. "Oh?" He said before nodding his head with a hum. "Yeah, I think I can do that." He says as he places a hand on his hip.
"Okay, give us ten seconds and change right back into yourself. You're fighting little sweetie over there." Gojo said, gesturing over to me slowly backing up to give us some distance. "And don't worry. She and him have a bit of a history. I figure this would be a good way to show what she is now. If things get out of hand, I'll step in." Gojo explained, doing some stretches.
"Yeah, but..." The kid started, feeling uneasy about this. "Yeah, don't worry 'bout me. I'm way too strong for him." Gojo added. "Megumi, would you be a dear and hold onto this for me." I politely requested, holding the bag out to the young boy. He took the bag with a confused look on his face. "So, what is it?" He asked. "Kikufuku from Kikusuian. It's Sendai's specialty, and it's super good. I recommend the zunda and cream flavor." Gojo informed.
This guy actually went and bought souvenirs while people were out here dying?!
And as if Gojo could read Megumi's mind, "It's no souvenir." He started, standing next to me. "I'll be eating this on the bullet train ride home." Gojo added. That's when Fushiguro shouted a 'look out!' to us, must means that he just switched. "Kikufuku's just the best-" Gojo continued before the area was filled with dust and such that blinded everyone's visons.
3rd pov
Once the smoke started to clear, Megumi was holding the bag close to his body. He opened his eyes to see Sukuna in front of him, eyes glowing. The incarnated king then felt a cold sharpness on his neck, a blade. Gojo was just behind Megumi watching with his arms crossed as Y/n had a foot on Sukuna's back, an arm transformed into a long, metal blade, and her free hand holding onto her hat
"I think it's the whipped cream inside that really makes it different." Gojo quipped.
Meanwhile, Sukuna just growled in frustration before letting out a battle cry, turning around to slash you. Luckily, you dodged, almost like you teleported. This continued on a couple more times with him trying to kick you, slash you, punch you, whatever- It didn't land a single hit. He tried to stab you with his hand, but you moved out of the way, moving behind him. "Usually, I'm not one to be arrogant," you started, holding onto the brim of your hat with your head tilted down, "but I think I might show off a bit, don't you think?" You rhetorically asked in a smug tone, moving your hat to be over your chest as you leaned against his back. You knew that one of the things he cared about most is his pride, and you poked at it like it were a rabid dog on a chain.
He twisted back, trying to swing the side of his fist into your head, but you ducked as you gave him an uppercut. You then dashed behind him, grabbed him by the arm and tried to jab at his head with your elbow, but his jumped away, looking at you with a shocked expression of surprise and confusion.
'She's unbelievably fast. No, that's not it...'
With only a grin, your hat shielding your eyes that are filled satisfaction, and a clap of your hands, sending a sound blast his way and propelling him back and hit the rooftop railing. "For crying out loud, you jujutsu sorcerers are always such a pain in the ass in any era!" Sukuna shouts, running towards you and delivering a punch. In response, you just lift up your left hand in front of you to catch the blow. When it made contact, the area was filled with smoke, dust, specks of dusty concrete filled his vision.
"Time doesn't really have much meaning for me-" He stopped midsentence when he felt a bony on his right shoulder. He glanced over the see tissue, muscle, skin and nails grow and envelop the appendage. Hell, even some of the sleeve grew back like it weren't damaged at all. "Aww, I'm really flattered that you think I'm one of them, but no. I lost my humanity a long time ago." You said, getting into his line of sight, revealing eyes he doesn't recognize. 'Weren't they e/c before?' He thought.
Y/n's pov
"And, if my math is right, your time is up." I informed with a smug grin. I watched as his eyes rolled back and almost fell forward just before he lifted his head back up with a hint of confusion on his face and the two spare eyes were back to looking like scars, even his hair going back to looking like a fluffy-spiky style instead of that rat's nest. "Oh, how did it go?" He asked, glancing around before looking up at me.
"How about that? So, you really can control that guy." Gojo laughed. "He's kind of annoying, though, to tell the truth. And I keep hearing his voice." The pink haired boy - now that I can recall reminds me of that pink video game character, Kirby - said, hitting his head with his hand. "Glad to know we both think the same thing, child." I said with a smile. "It's a miracle that's all he's doing to you." Satoru said, walking to where we were and tapped his forehead, and the boy was knocked out cold. I quickly caught him before he could fall flat on his face.
"What'd you do?" Megumi asked. "I just knocked him out." Gojo informed, making Megumi sigh in relief. "If he isn't possessed by Sukuna when he wakes up, then he might have potential as a vessel." Gojo stated. "I don't know how I feel about this. We're basically putting the fate of the world at the hands of a child, and I've seen it happen to one other boy just around his age: it be too much pressure for the kid." I said, lifting him over my shoulder. "Don't worry, it'll be fine! He's got this!" He assured.
"Now, I have a question for you." Satoru started, turning to Megumi. "What do you think we should we do with him?" He questioned. The boy hummed in thought. "Well, even if he is a vessel, Jujutsu regulations demand Itadori be executed." He said. I looked down in sadness, feeling guilty he had to be put in this situation. "However, ..." He continued, making me lift my head in confusion. "I don't want him to die." Megumi concluded.
"Personal?" Gojo quired.
"I suppose. So, can you save him?" Megumi questioned. The albino sea urchin haired man only laughed in response. "A request from a precious student? Leave it to me!" Gojo exclaimed with a big smile and a thumbs up, taking the Itadori child off my shoulder and onto his own.
I wonder what disasters await us after this...
