After Kyla talked to Sarah about what had happened, the conversation moved onto Rafe, and Kyla told her the news about their break. Fortunately, Sarah was supportive and actually liked the idea of Kyla distancing herself from Rafe since he seemed to be off lately.

Then, since both girls didn't feel like going to each other's respective homes to face their parents, or Rafe, John B offered them to sleep in his boat for the night. The two girls accepted and changed into bathing suits with clothes on top just in case they fell in or something, and fell asleep, not knowing what the boy was planning.

"Ky! Kyla, wake up!" Kyla heard Sarah shout as she shoved her slightly. Kyla opened her eyes and noticed Sarah's distressed face.

"What happened?" Kyla asked her groggily.

"John B locked us in here!" she told her and Kyla's eyes widened, immediately trying to get up.

"Wait, how did we even get in here?" Kyla asked, barely being able to see anything else apart from Sarah.

"I don't know! They must have moved us when we were asleep," Sarah told her before she started banging on the ceiling of where they were trapped. "John B! John B, let me out! John — John B!" she yelled before the top slid over, revealing a very confused Kiara. "What? Wait."

"What the hell?" Kiara muttered before she ran over to the side of the boat.

"What is going on?" Kyla asked as she climbed up after Sarah.

"Guys!" Sarah called out, following Kiara to the edge of the boat. Kyla also followed and noticed the boys swimming back to their own boat, where Pope was standing up. "Are you serious?!"

"Are you joking?" Kiara shouted.

"Where are you guys going?" Kyla called out, placing a hand on the top of her head in distress.

"Get your asses back here!" Sarah yelled.

"We can't! Not till you three figure it out!" John B called back.

"I will kill every single one of you!" Kiara yelled.

"And I'll help!" Kyla added.

"Oh, like you'll ever hurt anyone," Kiara said with an eye roll.

"I would if it came down to it!" Kyla argued.

"Y-You can't just leave!" Sarah yelled, ignoring the arguing sisters.

"There's food in the cabin, and JJ rolled a blunt!" Pope told them and making Kyla shake her head in disbelief.

"Hydroponic!" JJ added happily.

"This is ridiculous," Sarah said, beginning to take of her clothes so that she was just wearing a bikini.

"Well, I would rather drown than stay here with the two of you, so..." Kiara trailed off, doing the same thing as Sarah.

Kyla rolled her eyes at her, taking off her shirt. "Fine, be my guest. Maybe you'll finally shut the hell up," Sarah said to Kiara.

"Sarah," Kyla said warningly, sending her a look as she pulled down her jean shorts so that now she was just wearing her orange bikini.

"You don't even know where you're going," Kiara told her.

"I don't care," Sarah replied.

"Good luck with the oyster beds."

JJ whistled. "Lookin' good, Kyla!" he called out teasingly, making her send him a death glare from where she was standing on the boat.

"Wait!" Sarah yelled as she jumped down in the water.

"Godspeed!" Pope shouted before their boat started to zoom away.

"Wait! John B, you asshole!" Sarah screamed angrily.

"They're not coming back for you!" Kiara told her, but Sarah didn't listen as she kept on swimming.

"Love you, guys! Bye!" JJ yelled before he whooped.

"Sarah, maybe you shouldn't stay in there too long. There might be—" Kyla was cut off my Sarah screaming and ducking into the water, making her eyes go wide. "What happened?"

"What?" Kiara asked in annoyance.

Sarah yelped again. "I got stung by a jellyfish! Shit!" she screamed, and Kyla quickly leaned over the side of the boat so that she could help her friend up when she swam over.

"Dramatic," Kiara muttered.

"Kiara, would you not?" Kyla asked, looking back at her with an annoyed expression on her face. Kyla then looked back down at Sarah, who was climbing the ladder, and saw the huge sting on the side of her stomach. "Oh, my God."

"Shit," Sarah breathed out through her sobs.

"Well, you swam right into a man-o'-war. I don't know what you thought was gonna happen," Kiara told her with a bored tone.

Kyla reached out her hand and Sarah grabbed it, using it to help pull herself up. "Thanks," she said to her friend and Kyla nodded. The blonde then looked to Kiara. "And thank you for your help," she added sarcastically, making Kiara tilt her head.

"Okay, let's get you over here," Kyla said as she helped Sarah walk over to one of the chairs.

"Ow," the Cameron girl winced before she sat down. Kyla got a closer look at the wound, grimacing at how painful it looked. "Shit. Ow!"

"Does it hurt?" Kiara asked teasingly, making Kyla look up from the wound to glare at her sister.

"Hey, guys. You know what they say..."

"No."

"...about curing jellyfish stings."

"Mm-mm."

"One of you has to pee on me," Sarah said desperately and Kyla looked away, not wanting to do be the one to do it. She wanted to help, but not help that much.

"I have a better idea," Kiara told them.

"And what's that?" Kyla asked as she reached down and picked her jean shorts up, beginning to put them back on. Kiara just smirked. "Kiara..."

Kiara continued to smirk before she walked over to where a kit was. "Come over here," she told the girls, waving her hand over. Kyla helped Sarah stand up and walk over to the spot where Kiara was, before they sat down again.

"What is that?" Kyla asked from next to Sarah.

"Oh, I think you know what it is," Kiara said teasingly.

Kyla sighed, realizing what she was talking about. "Seriously, Kiara?" she asked in disbelief.

"It's for the pain," Kiara told her said as she started to open the 'blunt kit' that JJ had left them.

"JJ, bless," Sarah said breathlessly.

"Look, I don't know if we should do this," Kyla said and Kiara sent her a look before she placed the joint in her mouth to light it. "I mean, does it hurt that bad?" Kyla asked Sarah.

The blonde nodded. "Yes. Very, very bad," she told her and Kyla sighed, watching as her sister smoked it.

"I can't watch this," Kyla said, looking out in front of her so she didn't see her own sister smoke.

"Actually..." Kiara trailed off, contemplating whether or not she wanted to give Sarah the blunt.

"Really?" Sarah said before she took the blunt out of Kiara's hands and smoked it herself.

"Go easy. It's JJ's cousin's Cripple," Kiara told Sarah.

Kyla then looked back over to see Sarah take the joint out of her mouth before she started to cough like crazy. "Whoa, are you okay?" Kyla asked Sarah, and she nodded and coughed at the same time. Kiara watched Sarah in disbelief, nodding her head slowly at the blonde. "Will she be okay?" Kyla asked Kiara.

Kiara rolled her eyes. "It's just a blunt, Kyla. It's not like it's cocaine," she told her and Kyla nodded, looking down at the mention of the drugs' name since it reminded her of Rafe and Tara. Were they both addicted to the same drug? How could she not see it before? She felt bad for not being there for them, but now that her and Rafe were taking a break, could she even be there for him? And Kyla had just gotten into a fight with Tara, so who knew if Tara even wanted her help.

Kiara noticed Kyla's change in demeanor and felt bad about what she had just said, remembering when Kyla came into The Wreck and told them about Rafe and the cocaine he was using, and how he tried to almost force Kyla into having sex with him.

"I'm sorry," Kiara whispered once Sarah had finished coughing.

Kyla slowly looked up at her, surprised at the apology. "It's okay. I knew what you meant," she replied with a slight shrug.

・・・・☆・・・・☆ ・・・・

It had gotten pretty late, and Sarah had been laughing up a storm from the blunt she smoked since it was her first time doing it. Kiara had smoked it, but she was pretty much used to the effects, so she wasn't as ditzy. And Kyla, well, she tried to not even go near the joint at all.

"Wow," Sarah breathed out. "Hey, guess what?"

"What?" Kyla asked before she sucked a breath in, noticing Kiara's annoyance.

"Would you rather....have—" the blonde cleared her throat, "—I was just imagining you guys like this just now. It was pretty funny. Would you ima — would you rather...have nipples for eyes or eyes for nipples?" she asked and Kyla tilted her head slowly in confusion. "Imagine if you get really old and your nipples — Your boobs get saggy, and your nipples, if they were your eyes, you could see if your shoes were untied."

Kiara slowly looked over at Sarah, a neutral expression on her face. Sarah started to laugh quietly before she noticed Kiara's expression, and then she started to shake her head to stop herself from laughing.

"Is this like your first time smoking or something?" Kiara asked her monotonously.

"No," Sarah answered after a moment and Kiara rolled her eyes.

"Oh, come on, Kiara. It's not a flex to be a smoker," Kyla told her, but Kiara just ignored her.

"Hey, Kiara," Sarah said after a second.

"Oh, my God. Enough of the 'Hey, Kiara!' bullshit. Why'd you guys do it?" Kiara asked Sarah, and Kyla bit the inside of her cheek, knowing what Kiara had asked.

"Why did we do what?" Sarah replied dumbly.

"The three of us were best friends. We — we stole beers from your dad's fridge even though you told us it wasn't a good idea," Kiara said, looking at Kyla, who looked down, "we watched movies together, we cried about boys. And the next thing I know, I'm watching your birthday party happen from Instagram even though I had to watch my sister get ready to go to it."

Sarah glanced at Kyla before she argued, "It was one party."

"You invited everybody except me. And then you told everybody I was the reason that the party got busted," Kiara said before she looked at Kyla. "And you let her," she added with a small scoff.

"Okay, but in our defense, who else would've called the cops?" Kyla asked her slowly and Sarah nodded.

"You both never asked. You guys just let the rumor go that I was a rat. You guys were my best friends and then you both ghosted me and got a new friend to fill my spot, and I don't even know why!" Kiara exclaimed. "I mean, really, what did I do?"

"You liked me," Sarah answered.

"What?" Kiara said in confusion, glancing away awkwardly.

"When...people get...close to me, I feel trapped. And...I bail. And then I blame them for it," Sarah told her and Kyla looked down again, wondering why Sarah never bailed on her.

"Why did you never bail on Kyla?" Kiara asked with tears in her eyes, voicing Kyla's thoughts.

"Because she was dating Rafe, so I thought she cared about him before than me so I thought it balanced out," Sarah admitted, sending Kyla a sad smile. Kyla nodded slowly, a lopsided frown on her face. Sarah then looked back at Kiara. "I'm really sorry..." she said before she took a deep breath in. "And I miss you." She waited a moment before she asked, "Do you think there's a chance that we could all be okay again?"

"Honestly...I don't know," Kiara said before she looked over at Kyla. "Why did you let it happen?"

Kyla looked over at her with a sad expression. "Because I thought you wanted it to happen, Kiara."

"What?" Kiara said in puzzlement.

"I found out about the conversation you had with the boys, about how you hated me and how you only wanted to be friends with Sarah. I thought by letting the rumor go, it would be a win-lose situation, but..." Kyla trailed off, shaking her head.

"I never said that," Kiara said and Kyla furrowed her brows. "Who...who told you that?"

"Tara told me," Kyla answered before her eyes widened in realization. "Oh, my God, she...she lied." She looked over at Sarah's, whose mouth parted, surprised that their own friend would do that to them. "I'm so sorry..."

Kiara nodded slowly before she looked away.

Once it got even later, the three girls tried to fall asleep on the boat. Kyla wasn't comfortable enough falling asleep in a place where no people were around, so she just stared up at the stars.

"Hey, Sarah," Kiara said, making Kyla turn her head over to look at her sister.

"Hey, Kiara," Sarah replied in the same tone.

"Promise me that you won't bail on John B. He's not just...some other guy. And he really, really likes you," Kiara told her.

"I won't," Sarah said after a moment.

"Promise me."

"I promise."

Kiara nodded before she said, "Hey, Ky."

"Hey, Kie," Kyla said, finally using her nickname.

"Promise me that you'll stick with me this time. With the Pogues. And you won't go back to the Kooks," Kiara said.

Kyla contemplated her words. She honestly didn't even know if she could trust her Kook friends anymore. Tara was a liar. Rafe was a liar and he hurt so many people. Topper hurt her, pushed John B off the ledge, and was a jerk to Sarah...she couldn't trust any of them.

"I promise," Kyla told her.

Kiara nodded. "Also, I'm sorry I called the cops," she said after a moment.

"I knew it," Sarah said before they all started to laugh. "I knew it, you bitch! I told you!

"Wow!" Kyla exclaimed, letting out her giggles.

"You — you should've invited me," Kiara said.

"So you called the cops?" Sarah questioned.

"Yes!"

Looks like all the girls are finally getting along!! I've been waiting for this moment since Kyla and Kiara (plus Sarah) are definitely stronger together than they are apart.

Hope you enjoyed and make sure to vote and leave comments!!
