Hey guys!!! I have a few things I want to say in this note, so please read!!!

First of all, I wanted to thank you all for getting this book to 1M reads! That is literally so crazy to me since I started this book in 2021 just for fun and I didn't even know if anyone actually liked it. But the fact that y'all have read and commented so much means the world to me since I love writing Kyla and JJ. They will forever be my babies and one of my favorite couples I have written on this app since Outer Banks has just been a comfort show for so long and I feel really connected when writing this story for each new season.

Second of all, I know Season 4 ended off on a negative note. I'm still recovering from it honestly, especially after how I ended this book and all. But don't worry, I plan on writing Season 5 when it comes out (praying I have time since I am at college now and I don't know when shit is gonna get crazier, yknow). With Season 5, I have a few things in mind that I want to do with an ending that everyone will hopefully like. It depends on how they end Season 5, but either way, I want to give Kyla a happy ending. I can't deal with my girl being depressed. So I'm praying OBX S5 ends on a good note instead of a bad one because if it does, I will forever mourn. I can't handle anymore deaths, not after the worst one happened.

And third of all, I have published a new JJ Maybank book called Guilty As Sin? Ignore the cover, I know it's ugly I'm bad at making covers LOL. I'm trying to cope after the end of Season 4 and honestly I feel empty after finishing Brutal for now so I wanted something else to write. I plan on trying to update as much as I can, but exams are coming up for me next week and the week after so not sure how many I'll get in. But I do really like the plot of this book and I feel inspired (as of now) to write for it so let's see what happens!! Check it out if you're interested!!

Anyways, thank you all again so much for the support on this book. I genuinely love writing this book so much and I'm so glad I made it. I'm not ready to end it after Season 5, I don't know how I'm gonna recover 😪
