It was Mother's Day and Anna had a surprise for me.

It was delivered in a large plastic wrapping which I had the honour to sniff at first before she opened it.

Once it was set up they placed it in the blue room and told me to go in.

The house was four times my size, of course I would grow into it eventually, but until then I was not interested in it.

They put me inside when I showed no interest. So I stayed there for a few minutes, hoping they were satisfied I climbed back out and went to play with my toys.

This was proving to be very upsetting for my family. They tried several things to get me to start sleeping in there.

They tried giving me treats if I went in, they even removed the cushion and placed cooling tiles inside it to make me more comfortable. (Maybe that had something to do with me peeing on that cushion, I wasn't fully potty trained back then.)

In time I learned to use it as a hiding place whenever I found something to chew on which my family would immediately remove from my mouth.

Shoes, paper, and socks were one of the few favourites. 😋
