It was early and the whole family was up again. I knew at once we are going out.

They packed my things and put me in my harness and leash and then we were off.

Grandpa and grandma humans were waiting for us downstairs. They came in a bigger car, like the one we took to Pondicherry.

Great! Another long drive! I couldn't wait to see the big house again.

But I was wrong. The drive was long, but I wouldn't be with them for it.

They took me back to the place with all the other dogs and just left me there. Alone!

Hours had gone by and they did not come back. I was starting to get worried. Did they give me away?

Was it because I bit them a few times or barked too much?

I couldn't eat much and I just hung around waiting for my family to come back.

When it became dark and these new people put me in my cage, I knew they wouldn't come back. They abandoned me.

The other dogs seemed happy and carefree. They tried to play with me but I wasn't in the mood. I just wanted my family.

The next morning they let us out to play, I wandered around telling myself to get used to this.

I lost my appetite but they made me eat at least a little before we were sent back to the rooms.

I spent the rest of the afternoon sleeping. Sometime later one of the men outside came in and picked me up. He wanted only me!

The other dogs barked happily but I was scared. Where were we going?

Then from a distance I could see...... My family was back!

They waited for me at the place they dropped me off, grandpa, grandma, Mama, Dada and Anna.

The moment I was put in the ground I dint know where to go first, I shot like a bullet straight to grandparents and then Mama and Dada and Anna. I took a few rounds but could not sit still long enough to be patted.

I was so relieved to be leaving! But I was also very angry! How could they leave me there for almost two days?

I accidentally scratched Anna as we drove back home but I felt abandoned and felt that she deserved it.

My anger did not last. The moment they let me home I was on top of the world. Everything was back to normal now!
