29th January 2017 to 5th February 2017

This was the most miserable time of my life..... Atleast at first...

Sunday morning Anna, the soon to be married couple and I went on a road trip. They even brought my cushion along.

I was so excited that I couldn't sit still. I would jump up and down and make funny noises. At one point I sat on Anna's lap to look out the window and passers by would point and smile at me.

That was fun!

But then we stopped and I recognised the place immediately. They were leaving me here for a while at the hotel. Without a fuss I got out of the car and went into the place.

The grounds were empty. Probably cos it was the afternoon and it was really hot. But then one guy came out and began taking to Anna.

Since it was a big open space I decided to run around for a bit. I didn't feel like going back to them as they called, finally I just stopped to watch Anna wave goodbye from the other side of the fence.

I'm sure she will be back soon.

Time went by and she didn't return.

One day. And nothing. Two days. Still nothing.

Whenever they put me in my room, I would bark continuously. My throat would get dry even though they left a bowl of water out for me.

Day three. I was loosing hope but I was given a distraction. There was a new arrival and she was very different from the rest of us. I think she is one of the bigger breeds but because she was young she got to hang out with us.

She was really popular and all the other guys wanted to know more about her but she kept to herself most of the time.

When playtime was over and we were being sent back to our rooms, one of the guys noticed I have. A fever. He stayed with me for a while and then took me to the doctor in the morning.

Visits to the doctors is not the same. I didn't know this place but it seemed ok. The doctor gave me an injection and let me go.

I finally managed to settle down for the next two days. Then one morning, one of the caretakers came in and picked me up. Only me!

I suspected what was going to happen but didn't want to believe it until I saw it.

And yes!!!
There she is!!
Anna!

I couldn't sit still in his arms!! I wanted to run to her. She couldn't stand still either, she walked towards us too..., my mouth was foaming with saliva in excitement.

The next few moments went in a blur. There was a lot of hugging and licking. I jumped so high that I accidentally hit Anna in the face, leaving a small cut on her chin.

The newly weds were waiting for me too.... after a round of hugs and licks, we all went back into the car. And soon I was home!

Finally saw mom and dad! I was so happy that I vowed to be a good an obedient boy forever.... or
Atleast at first. *wink*
