Gulf's POV

Mew came back to my place jumping like a kid who just got his favorite candy with stars in his eyes, he looked so delighted and excited and even hugged me so tight in front of Kusa surprising me

"P' Mew, smth great must happened" I said slowly pushing him away

"yes, you may not believe it but we got my family's blessing, even my father asked me to bring you next time I visit" I looked widely while he knelt holding my son who was confused but happy too

"you already told them?"

"yes, I want us to be together without thinking anyone else or any worries, if I could I would go meet your parents right now"

"aren't you rushing things a bit?"

"no, I'm really serious about our relationship so I want to clear everything so we can go out without any concerns especially about our families"

"I am serious too but I'm kind of nervous about telling my parents"

"you told me a lot about them and I believe they are very understanding and supportive so it will be fine" I looked to him not being able to argue since he never actually met them

"daddy, uncle Mew, I don't understand" Kusa asked making us look to each other then Mew glanced to him and made him sit on the sofa while Mew was down by his feet

"you see Kusa, I love your daddy so much and want to stay with him for a very long time, I want you and daddy and me to be a real family and even start living together... can you accept me as a part of your family?" Mew tried to explain to Kusa with the easiest way, I felt a little shy but kept smiling sitting next to Mew while Kusa was looking to both of us

"does daddy love uncle Mew?" I grinned blushing a little

"yes, I love P' Mew a lot but I love you the most Kusa" I said taking his hand

"uncle Mew do you love me?"

"of course, you are so precious to me, I want you to be my son too" Mew said taking his other hand, suddenly the purest, most blissful lovely smile appeared on Kusa's face, he jumped hugging us both by the neck

"I love you too, daddy, uncle Mew, I want to be with you two always, I want uncle Mew to be family too"

"really? I can?" Mew asked

"yes, when uncle Mew come , me and daddy are happy and have fun, you make delicious cakes and take care of me too and you make daddy smile and laugh a lot... my wish came true"

"your wish?" I asked

"on my birthday, I wished that me, daddy and uncle Mew can stay together for many years!!!" we both smiled holding him

"thank you for making that wish Kusa... so from now on I want you to call me 'papa' alright?"

"yes! Papa!" I watched them hugging again and smiling widely, we just took the first step in becoming a real family.

After a week of waiting impatiently, we are now heading to my parents' house, I told Mew that I should talk to them alone first but he refused which why I'm more worried about what's going to happen, once I got in

"Gulf! Kusa!!" we were greeted by my mother followed by my father

"grandma! Grandpa!" Kusa was the first to ran hugging them both

"sorry for visiting suddenly without checking with you first"

"what are you talking about? This is also your house son... oh is that a friend? Ah you must be Mew! Kusa and Gulf told us a lot about you!" my father said walking toward my surprised boyfriend shaking hands

"pl-pleased to meet you, I'm sorry for coming uninvited"

"you are welcome anytime, thank you for taking care of our son and grandson" mother said

"come on let's go inside" we sat in the living room after I showed Mew around my house, Kusa sat watching TV, Mew was looking nervous and little shy

"that's how I felt when I visited your house" I whispered

"your parents are so lively" I chuckled

"they are always like that, so loud and extremely cheerful doing things their way that you kind of end up going with their flow"

"but it's fun, I'm so glad I came and met them, your family is amazing"

"wait until my cousin come and you won't be able to do or say anything"

"is she coming today?"

"yes, afternoon, she wants to meet you"

"you told her I'm coming?"

"we were messaging each other yesterday and I slipped, sorry"

"no it's fine, I want to meet all your family" he said smirking faintly

"... so chef Mew, I heard you learned all kind of food but what is your favorite?" my mother asked catching our attention

"umm... it's hard to choose but I mostly enjoyed Italian, their pasta is amazing, their spices and even their skills are captivating"

"oh! Italian! Lasagna ! it's one of my favorite plates" my father commented

"what about sweets?"

"that would be France, I mostly mastered everything there what I noticed is that their sweets are always related to romance, c'est la pays d'amour (it's the country of love ^^)"

"oh my, you're making me so eager to visit it, honey let's start learning French"

"of course sweety, even the language sound romantic" knowing what's going to happen next when they start talking about romance, I faked a cough

"ehem... we have a guest" I pointed out making them surprised then smiled awkwardly

"sorry, we always lose to love" mother apologized

"oh no please don't mind me, it's really nice to see a loving couple like you two, I hope you stay like this forever" Mew who was enjoying himself said

"that's sweet of you, oh I need to start making lunch, honey could you go pick a few things for me?"

"of course dear"

"please let me help" Mew said ready to stand up

"oh no you are the guest today so please rest and have fun"

"Gulf, how about showing him around the neighborhood to kill time?" father suggested before following mother to the kitchen

"good idea, Kusa do you want to come with us?"

"no daddy I want to keep watching this"

"alright" I showed Mew around, where I used to study, the playground and the arcade I used to go to with my friends. After eating lunch we sat again in the living room, I was preparing myself to tell my parents the truth by now, it must have felt so hard for Mew too when he talked to his family

"mo-"

"ah! Right! Before I forget! Gulf, I want you to go meet someone when you go back home" mother interrupted me

"someone? Who?"

"she's the daughter of a friend... well it's smth like a blind date" she said nonchalantly shocking me, I'm sure Mew is also stunned

"bl-blind date?"

"you will be 26 soon and we got worried about you never having a girlfriend so we want you to meet someone already, we want you to get married and have a complete family and also give birth to siblings to Kusa" she explained

"of course we don't mean that you must do it right away, first start dating for a year or two then we can make everything official" father added, this is way I didn't want to bring Mew along, my parents always come up with plans and decide everything on their own without even consulting me, for them it's doing plans ahead to be prepared, I sighed glancing to Mew who was looking down with a painful look, he must have got shocked about the family and siblings thing... this stupid

"I won't go along with your plan this time" I stated making them stare at me

"why? Isn't it a great one?" father asked

"no, I want to be the one to choose my lifelong partner like how you both chose each other" they glanced to each other then, to me

"of course you have the right to choose son, we are not telling you to date this girl right away just meet her once and if you didn't get along we can find you another one"

"I already have someone I love *glanced to Mew who was staring at me then back to them* it's him, I'm dating P' Mew" both my parents froze blinking waiting for their minds to process what they just heard

"Mew, with you, him, dating?" my father was trying to ask, at this point all my nervousness flew away only focused and determined to persuade my parents to accept us

"yes, I know this is unbelievable for you but I truly love him and want to be a family with him for the rest of my life"

"you are both men"

"so what? Aren't you the one who always told me that love has no limit and no logic? P' Mew is a great man, he took care of both of us, listened to us, filled our house with laugher and happiness, an honest kind and a hard worker, he became a very precious person to me, a man I want to be with every passing second, to share with him all my feelings and create a happy family, the three of us"

"I can't accept this... this is not right"

"there is no right nor wrong in love" Mew suddenly talked becoming the center of attention

"sorry for interrupting but we both understand how hard for you and for my parents to accept our relationship, but we can't help it, our deep and serious feelings for each other is what encourage us to tell you... I know you want the perfect life for your son but I want to be the one by his side, it's selfish of me to say that yet I love him so much that I wished to become like both of you when we get older and even as very old men" I smiled caressing his hand as he held mine so tightly

"I also love him a lot and want us to grow old together... you are my precious beloved family and I hope that you accept us"

"we can prove it to you that we can become a happy family so please give us a chance" Mew said bowing his head so I did the same, a minute of silence went by, I could feel how scared and worried Mew is but I'm set on convincing them

"grandpa, grandma! I love daddy and papa a lot so please don't be angry at them" we suddenly heard Kusa's voice making us look up to find his holding my parents hands

"papa?" mother asked confused

"yes, uncle Mew is my papa, he teach me, play with me and makes daddy happy too, I want to be family with daddy and papa" Kusa's innocence really touched my heart, me and Mew found ourselves hugging him tightly

"thank you Kusa" I started

"we love you a lot too" Mew finished, Kusa reached touching our cheeks with his small palms

"daddy, papa, don't forget to say sorry to grandpa and grandma so they won't be angry at you" we smiled softly holding his hands then looked to my parents

"we are sorry, we blurted out everything so suddenly" I said

"we deeply apologize, we will let you take your time to think about it but we hope that you approve of us" Mew continued, they looked to each other for a moment then to us

"are you really sure about this?" mother asked

"yes, we are, there is no space of doubts in our hearts" I said

"I'm really serious, I already told my family and want to get your approval before going public"

"you will get criticized" father stated

"I'm well prepared for that but I don't care as long as I have Gulf by my side"

"me too, I'm ready for anything and we will get through it together"

"Kusa? You don't mind having two daddies?"

"I have a mother and two daddies isn't that awesome?!" he exclaimed surprising us all, both me and Mew chuckled

"you are the most awesome one" Mew said

"really papa?"

"absolutely"

"seeing that you already became a family makes us lose" father said

"we don't want to be the one to destroy this sweet joyful atmosphere"

"to be honest, I'm still against both of you dating but I don't mind watching"

"work hard and show us how much you love and treasure each other" I glanced to Mew smiling as he smiled back then we stood up bowing

"thank you for giving us a chance" I talked first

"I promise I will adore and take care of your son for as long as I'm alive"

"we will prove it to you so please keep watching over us"

"it's the first time we got defeated" father stated

"that shows how much our cute son grew up"

"he became a man in no time" they smiled tenderly,

"how about you share your story with us as a first step" mother suggested

"that would be a great idea, how did you both met and how did you fall in love with each other?" my father asked making us grin sitting down. My cousin came not long after and she was surprised by the news yet she completely supports us and sat listening to our story.

I was worried that a huge fight may occur and that my parents will even kick Mew out, miraculously nothing bad happened, it was thanks to Kusa we were saved and even was given a chance, we confessed to each other too and we became a family... He is our super hero.
