Cherry Brownie Dream Bars

These Cherry Brownie Dream Bars are sure to become your new favorite thing. From the fudgy brownie base to the crunchy topping - every bite of these bars is like a dream come true!

~Ingredients:

-Brownie Mix:*

1 Cup Granulated Sugar.

1/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder, sifted.

1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour.

1/4 Teaspoon Salt.

1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder.

1/2 Cup Butter, melted then cooled.

2 Eggs, room temperature.

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract.

-Filling: 

17 oz Tub Marshmallow Creme.

1 10 oz Jar Maraschino Cherries.

1 12 oz Bag Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips.

1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter.

3 Cups Rice Crispy Cereal.

-Topping:

Reddi-wip Cream Bottle

Maraschino Cherries.

~Directions:

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.

Step 2Drain maraschino cherries and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut in half and set aside.

-Making the Brownies:

Step 3: Sift together all dry ingredients.

Step 4: Melt butter and set aside to cool slightly.

Step 5: In a medium bowl, beat two eggs with the vanilla.

Step 6: Add in and gently stir the dry ingredients.

Step 7: Pour the melted butter into the brownie mixture and mix until just incorporated. 

Step 8: Pour the brownie batter into the prepared dish.

Step 9Bake for 14-15 minutes, or until brownie is done in the center. 

Step 10: Spread marshmallow cream on top of chilled brownies and return to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Step 11: Top with the halved cherries.

-Making the Filling:  

Step 12Put the peanut butter and the chocolate chips together in a microwave safe-container. 

Step 13Heat for 30 second intervals, stirring in between each interval.

Step 14Stir in the rice crispy cereal until completely coated. 

Step 15Spread mixture carefully over the top of the cherries.

Step 16Return to refrigerator for another hour before cutting into bars.

Step 17: Spray with Reddi - Wip Cream and top with maraschino cherries.

Step 18Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

~Recipe Notes:  

*You can use a box mix if you don't want to make the brownies from scratch.
