"Hey Josh!!" Dwayne called out to his cousin.

"What up Uce!" Josh replied.

"Where ya headed?"

" I'm bout to hit a Starbucks, Joe wanted a caramel apple spice and a spinach feta wrap." Josh replied.

"Oh cool, can you bring me a double expresso with two cream?" Dwayne asked.

"Yeet! Is that all you want?" Josh asked.

"Yeah, that's it. I appreciate it." Dwayne said.

"Yeet." Josh said as he left out of the office.

On his way out, he bumped into his twin, Jonathan...

"Aye where you goin Uce?" He asked.

"Finna make a Starbucks run for Joe and nem. Why? Wassup?"

"Ohhhh you da lil errand boy huh? Lil Starbucks bitch!" Jon teased his twin.

"Man fuck you Uce! You want something from Starbucks, like some soy milk, for yo' soft ass?" Josh replied.

" Whateva. But nah, Joe got me running errands too." Jon replied.

"Ohhh you the errands bitch huh?" Josh said.

"I guess...so I'm the errand bitch and you the food bitch?" Jon laughed, causing his twin to laugh as well.

Joshua and his twin Jonathan worked for their cousins Joe and Dwayne in their real estate development/construction business, A & J Enterprises. Even though all they did was run errands and other menial tasks, Dwayne and Joe paid the twins a high six figure salary. Dwayne and Joe were very generous, especially when it came to family. The salaries that they paid the twins not only afforded them a comfortable lifestyle, but it also allowed them to take good care of their parents and other siblings.

As Joshua was headed to Starbucks, he had a mental reflection....

Joshua's POV
What a typical day, running errands for cuz and nem, getting coffee or whatever else they need. But you know something? For what my family pays me, I really don't mind. I get to work with my family whom I'm close to AND I get a fat ass salary. So why complain?
But I feel that something is missing out of my life. I mean although I'm single, I still have access to pussy whenever I want it, but that's getting to be played out. I want something on a deeper level, a woman that I can call my own. As I'm driving, I have a strange feeling that my life is about to change.

Meanwhile at Starbucks......
"Good morning Chaunny. Congratulations on your first day at Starbucks. I'm sure you'll enjoy working here." Ms. Scott, the store manager said.

"Thank you very much Ms. Scott." Chaunny said with a smile.

"Oh you're more than welcome and please call me Sarah. As you'll see we are very relaxed and casual at this location." She said warmly.

"That's good to know." Chaunny replied.

"Well, since this is your first day, Shawn will be training you on different things on how to run the cash register, and how to make the drinks. Shawn is very patient and a wealth of knowledge, not to mention very approachable, so don't hesitate to ask questions. Our motto here is the only question that is dumb is the one you don't ask." She explained.

"Thanks I'm glad to be a part of such a close knit crew." Chaunny stated.

At that moment, Shawn entered and greeted everyone....

"Good morning wonderful people!" He exclaimed happily.

"Hi." Chaunny greeted softly.

"Good morning Shawn, happy Friday! Shawn, this is Chaunny, the newest member of our Starbucks family, she'll be training with you today. I've been telling her what a wealth of knowledge that you are, and basically just bragging on you." Ms. Scott said smiling.

"Well.... I don't wanna toot my own horn. But toot...toot!!" He said laughing, causing Sarah and Chaunny also to laugh.

"Well I'm excited and eager to learn." Chaunny said.

"Awesome! So let me clock in and put my things away and I'll show you what you need to learn." He said.

"Ok great." Chaunny said with a smile.

A Short Time Later....

Shawn had demonstrated to Chaunny how to work the cash register, of which she caught on very quickly. Needless to say, she was a very quick learner and Shawn was very impressed....

"Wow Chaunny, you are doing great! You are a very quick learner!" He said.

"Thank you, I like to think that I am trying." She said with a humble smile.

"Ok, well you can stay on the register today and tomorrow, we will work on learning the drinks. I mean, after you get the hang of it, it's like riding a bicycle." He said.

"Cool!"

At that moment, another customer walked in.....

"Well, here's our next customer. Hiiii, welcome to Starbucks! How can we help you?" Shawn said as he greeted the handsome stranger.

"Uh, yeah...lemme get a venti caramel apple spice, a venti double expresso with two cream and a spinach feta wrap." The stranger said in a deep sexy voice that made Chaunny shiver slightly.

"Ok, coming right up! Will that complete your order?" Shawn asked.

"Uh yeah, dats it." The stranger replied, as he looked over at Chaunny.

"And can I have your name for this order?" Shawn asked.

The stranger kept looking at Chaunny, as he could not take his eyes off of the pretty Starbucks employee.....

"Umm....sir?" Shawn said again, waving at the stranger.

"Huh? Wassup?"

"Your name, sir?" Shawn said again.

"Oh my bad uce, it's Josh." He answered, still staring at Chaunny.

"Josh?" Shawn repeated.

"Yeet." He replied, still staring at Chaunny and now smiling.

"Ok, well you can step down and she'll take care of you at the register." Shawn replied, pointing at Chaunny.

"That'll be $12.40 sir." Chaunny replied.

Josh handed her a $100 bill to pay for the order.  When she returned the change, he dropped it in the tip jar.

"What's yo' name, pretty lady?" Josh asked.

"Um...Chaunny."

"Chaunny..... That's a pretty name for a pretty lady." Josh said.

At that moment, Shawn's voice called out.

"Order for Josh!" He said.

"Ok, well I hope to see you again, pretty lady." He said, winking at her.

"I-I'm sure you will.  Have a good day!" She replied.

"You too, beautiful." He said as he left.

After Josh left, Shawn was smiling at her.

"What?" She said.

"Oh my gosh, that guy was totally flirting with you!" Shawn smiled.

"No he wasn't." She said.

"Yeah he was!!!!" Shawn laughed.

"I dont think so, I mean who would flirt with me?" Chaunny said.
