Still at Joe's House

Just then, Joe, Dwayne, Nathan, who is Jasmine's younger brother and also a groomsman, as well as Jonathan and Joshua who were also serving as Joe's groomsmen arrived and took their places at the altar alongside the Chief Justice of the United States John G. Finally, as the bridal march played and the guests rose from their seats, Jasmine came down the aisle on the arm of her father. Dwayne put his hand on his cousin's  shoulder as did Jonathan and Joshua in an attempt to calm him.

It was at this point that the ceremony began.....

"Ladies and gentlemen...we are gathered here this afternoon to unite this man and woman in matrimony. If there is anyone here who believes that these two should not be married speak now or forever hold your peace". Chief Justice Roberts addressed the wedding guests.

Suddenly, one of the wedding guests inadvertently cleared his throat loudly and some of the guests looked around.

"Sorry" the man said. "I had something in my throat".

Joe blinked then slowly turned around with the meanest expression on his face anyone had ever seen, and glared for at least a minute at the congregation trembling with his fists clenched in anger, as if  he dared anyone to open their mouth. All it did was cause the wedding guests to erupt in laughter. He then rolled his eyes and slowly turned back toward the officiant.

"Please continue..." Joe said through clenched teeth.

"Don't turn your monkey ass around again jabroni", Dwayne warned. "You're not intimidating anybody here, so knock it off! You're not gonna kick anyone's ass!"

Chief Justice Roberts continued...

"Leati Joseph Anoa'i, do you take Jasmine Elyse Duncan to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

"Jasmine Elyse Duncan, do you take Leati Joseph Anoa'i to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Chief Roberts asked.

"By the power vested in me and by the state of Florida, I now pronounce you both husband and wife. You may now kiss your bride". Chief Justice Roberts said.

At the Reception Site
After spending an hour greeting the 700 guests who attended the wedding and another hour taking wedding photos, the new couple made their way to the reception. The guests were served a wide array of treats including shrimp and other hors-d'ouevres.

The meal consisted of a wide variety of both Jasmine's and Joe's favorite dishes including traditional Samoan dishes. The reception hall was lavishly decorated also by celebrity wedding planner Mindy Weiss.

They also had two wedding cakes, one made of yellow cake with strawberries and whipped cream which was Jasmine's favorite and another cake with different layers including Joe's favorite carrot cake and German chocolate.
