In the last chapter.....

Jasmine appeared at the door, tears in her big brown eyes and holding her stomach.....

"I told you I'm nothing but trouble." She sobbed....

Nia's words had really hurt Jasmine. She didn't understand why she hated her so much. She hadn't did anything to be try to be friends with her, but apparently she didn't like her and likely never would....

"I'm nothing but trouble, I don't belong here." Jasmine said tearfully.

"You do belong here Jasmine, don't pay my sister any mind, she's crazy." Kalei said, twirling his fingers in a circular motion by his head to denote that Nia was crazy.

Joe then scooped up Jasmine in his left arm and dried her tears with his free hand.

"Yes baby, you definitely belong and like we told you in Australia, you ain't leaving us, now or ever. And now that you're pregnant, you're definitely not going anywhere!" Joe said firmly, looking deeply into his wife's eyes.

"Exactly, you belong to us now and forever." Dwayne chimed in, kissing her on her cheek and stroking her face.

Usually, the comforting and reassuring words of her husbands would make Jasmine feel better—but not today. She wasn't sure if it was hormones, but today she felt lower than dirt, as she kept quiet and hung her head in sadness.

Ata sensed that Jasmine was very sad and made an attempt to make her feel better......

"Come little mother, I'll make you a nice meal." Ata said gently to her.

"Thank you uso le tina...b-but I-I'm not hungry." Jasmine said, starting to cry again.

"Oh, don't cry dear...but please have something though...there is a baby in you now, you have to feed him or her." Ata said, comforting her.

"Mama's right, Jasmine, you gotta feed your baby." Kalei said, gently.

"Ok I'll eat, but my heart's not in it." Jasmine said wiping her tears.

"That's the spirit! Here....come and sit down and I'll make you some Oka I'a and coconut. It is good to eat when you're pregnant, it will make the baby healthy and strong." Ata said gently.

Seeing their wife so dejected and unhappy continued to fuel Dwayne and Joe's rage. This was supposed to be a joyful time. The woman whom they loved more than life itself was carrying a child and now she was made to feel bad, all because of a big mouthed, hateful bitch.

Kalei noticed that his cousins were still very much enraged and tried to provide a positive distraction...

"Hey usos, let's go talk to Uncle Sione, we need a distraction right now, he'll make us laugh." Kalei suggested.

"Naw! I ain't leavin' my baby, she needs me!" Joe said shaking his head.

"I think she'll be ok here with Aunt Ata, come on Joe." Dwayne said gently. "I need to get away from here for a minute anyway. Because if I stay, I'm gonna end up in handcuffs!"

"I think it will help y'all to feel better, at least a little anyway." Kalei smiled, as he started out the door....

As Kalei went out the door, the smile died immediately on his face and he was stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of his two sisters sitting outside....

"Hey usos.....um....uh." Kalei said nervously, as he closed the door immediately.

"What Uce?" Joe said.

"Yeah...what is it?" Dwayne said.

"Uh...look...Nia and Tamina are outside."

Dwayne and Joe became silently furious, as evidenced by the looks on their faces....

"Look y'all.....please let's just get in my car and head over to Uncle Sione's. Just ignore them, no matter what they say, don't let them get under your skin..please." Kalei pleaded.

Dwayne and Joe did not say a word..they were so pissed.....

"I'm gonna try but I can't promise anything." Dwayne snarled.

"I ain't gonna promise shit!!!" Joe growled.

"Come on usos..y'all bigger than that.... don't let them get to you...think of y'all pregnant wife over there." Kalei reasoned.

Dwayne and Joe looked at each other and then back at where Jasmine was eating and Ata was keeping her company. Jasmine looked up at them with big brown sad eyes and then looked down again slowly and sadly eating, while Ata patted her on the shoulder, herself looking sad as well....the pitiful look on her face was breaking their hearts and pissing them off at the same time.....

Kalei, Dwayne and Joe took a deep breath and went outside. They saw Nia and Tamina giving them dirty looks, but as Kalei requested they remained quiet.

"Y'all doing good usos, just ignore them..." Kalei said.

When they reached the car, Dwayne got in and slammed the door.

Kalei breathed a sigh of relief at Dwayne getting in the front seat without incident.

"See you did good Uce, I told you to ignore them." Kalei said to Dwayne who was running a trembling hand over his face in an attempt to remain calm.

But as Joe opened the backseat door and was about to get in, that's when Nia opened her mouth again...

"Yeah get the fuck outta here, you woman beating, rapist pieces of shit!! Are you proud of yourselves? What are you gonna tell your child? That he or she wasn't a product of love, but a product of rape?!!!!" Nia screamed.

At that moment, Kalei and Tamina looked at each other and dropped their shaking heads. Joe, on the other hand, slowly turned around to face Nia, his face a mask of unspeakable rage....

"What the fuck did you just say to me?" Joe said, barely above a whisper. "You must don't need your tongue or your voice box or any vital organ in that worthless body of yours!"

"Come on Uce, get in the car. Nia, shut the fuck up before I make sure mama disowns your ass forever!" Kalei snarled.

Joe was growling ready to tear some shit up.

"Come on uce, get in the car!" Kalei said again, more forcefully, gently grabbing Joe's arm, which he snatched away before finally getting in the car.

After Kalei and Joe got in the car, Kalei started to drive away, when Nia called out again....

"Fucking rapists!!!" She screamed, loud enough where Dwayne heard....

"Turn this fucking car around Kalei." Dwayne said in an eerily calm voice....

"Nope Uce, y'all can kick my ass or whatever but I'm not doing it." Kalei said as he continued to drive...

And with that, they were on their way to Uncle Sione's. If anyone could calm them, he could.....
