" I wanted so badly to feel your bones crush underneath me... "
Jo walked forward, looking back at Theresa every so often to check that she was alright.
"Come on." Jo urged, turning corners. Jo came towards stairs leading upwards. She took a deep breath, skimming over Teresa.
"So you mentioned you were with your sister when you were taken?" Theresa inquired. Jo turned around, eyeing Theresa. Theresa stared right back at Jo, and for a second Jo felt scared of her. But only for a second. Jo took a step closer to Theresa.
"My sister?" Jo raised her eyebrow. She hadn't said anything about her sister coming. If Jo could recall correctly, she only told Theresa that Sunny would come. She never mentioned anything about Sunny being her sister.
"Oh. Yeah." Jo casually replied, approaching Theresa. In Jo's hand, she still held the shard of glass and the small nail.
Jo squeezed the glass.
"If we go up those stairs, we don't know what could be up there. Let's just wait it out for your sister and your friends down here." Theresa's voice became desperate.
Jo turned her back on Theresa.
"Yeah..." She braced herself. "Let's do that."
Jo spun around, reaching out to Theresa's throat with the glass shard. As Jo spun, she saw that Theresa was no longer Theresa. She was now a tall man, face hidden by black shadows.
Jo reached, attempting to stab the beast. He slammed her back, shoving her to the floor.
"Don't you understand? There is no world out there for you. I am saving you. I am saving you like I saved your parents." The beast hissed, taking Jo's hand and snatching the shard of glass from it. With one hand holding Jo to the ground, he began cutting at her neck with the glass, watching the blood trail down her neck.
"You killed my family, you bitch!" Jo grunted, throwing weak punches at him.
"I am all that I am. I am vengeance. I am purity." The words the beast spoke were sharp. Even though it was a mere whisper, it tunneled through Jo's head, every word forming as a strong headache.
"You're a monster," Jo grunted, feeling him stab her in the leg. He began digging the shard of glass deeper into her leg, watching as Jo screamed out in agony.
"I am not a monster." It simply replied.
"You are a monster. Do you want revenge? You think revenge on my parents will set you-" Jo interrupted herself by a loud shrill scream. "YOU ARE A MONSTER."
The shadow wrapped its large hand around Jo's throat, picking her off of the ground by it. He pushed her against the wall, her feet inches above the ground. Her hanging body dripping blood.
The beast threw Jo down the corridor, watching her body slam to the floor like a rag doll and skid down the hallway. As a mess of shadows, the beast appeared in front of Jo once more, taking her by her throat and slamming her onto the ground by her throat.
Jo let out one more gasp of air as her vision went black. She lost track of time, staring at the darkness when suddenly striking pain sent her awake. The beast took her once more, throwing Jo through a window within the hospital. She lost all feeling in her body. She couldn't feel the bruises forming on every inch of her skin or the small glass pieces attaching themselves to her flesh.
He took her once more, holding her by the throat and lifting.
Jo had never felt so close to dying before in her life. Now, as she was held by the beast, she felt complete and utter death.
"Hey, asshole." A male voice shouted. "Why don't you pick on someone your own size."
The Behemoth turned around, eyes glazing over Sam Winchester.
He dropped Jo, and she crumbled to the floor.
Sam stood next to Sunny, the two of them holding out their knives. The Behemoth disappeared into a mess of shadows once more, appearing behind Sam and Sunny. He shoved shadows in their direction, sending them flying down the corridor just like Jo.
Sam picked himself up, watching as Dean appeared behind the Behemoth.
"Now!" Sunny shouted. Sam pulled out a water bottle of thick brown liquid and began pouring a small line separating himself, Sunny, Jo and the Behemoth.
With Bobby now by his side, Dean did the same, creating a small box around the Behemoth with the oil substance.
Sunny and Bobby pulled out a box of matches each, kneeling down by the oil and igniting a fire. The fire formed in a thin line, trapping the Behemoth inside the fire. The shadows around the Behemoth's face disappeared. Now, everyone within viewing distance could see what the Behemoth really looked like. He was giant, with a thick, dark body formed of circling shadows. His face, however, was human. Half of his face was as if a chunk of his skull was missing. Where that chunk was missing, a loose eye hung out of his head and maggots and flies swarmed around the thick skull.
The Behemoth stared at the fire, shielding his eyes.
Sunny turned, sprinting over to Jo, who lay a crumpled bloody mess at the end of the hallway.
"Jo!" Sunny slid down beside her sister, cupping her face. "Jo. Jo, wake up!" Sunny begged. Jo's eyes slowly lifted open - but even that took more strength than she thought herself capable of.
"Hey," Jo groaned, grinning a red, bloody smile. "You came."
Sunny took her sister in her arms, brushing the hair out of her bruised and bloodied face.
"Of course I did." Sunny smiled, her eyes crystallizing with tears. "Come on." Sunny coerced, beginning to help Jo up. Jo let out a large groan of pain within seconds of being moved.
"I don't know if I can..." Jo trembled.
"SAM!" Sunny called. Sam appeared by their side, picking Jo up easily.
Sam cradled Jo, walking beside Sunny to the fire line, where the Behemoth stood, grinning a toothless smile.
"It took you worthless bitches fifteen years!" The Behemoth grinned, his voice charming. He let out an evil laugh. "I wanted so badly to feel your bones crush underneath me..."
Sunny grit her teeth, helping Sam lay Jo down on the ground. She turned and faced the Behemoth.
"So what's inside of you? Rapists? Murderers? Credit card fraud? What is inside you that makes you so rotten, that makes you such a monster?" Sunny taunted. The Behemoth laughed again.
"You pride yourselves in hurting people? Eating the flesh of the living? I'm sure one or two of the son's a bitches' inside of you had kids of their own. What would they think of this?" Dean growled. The Behemoth roared into laughter.
"I am anger, fear, and revenge, all at once." It growled. Sunny stared at it with pure hatred.
"What are you angry about?! What do you want revenge for? Tell me, why are you so scared to pass on? Why are you holding on?" she interrogated.
The Behemoth went quiet.
"You're a beast. You take people and you devour them. You kill the very species you once were. What kind of monster does that?" Sam questioned.
The Behemoth stopped. "I am reveng-"
"YOU ARE A MONSTER." Sunny shouted. "You were always a monster! You kill, you torture. You are all things evil in this world."
"No-" The Behemoth began.
"Those souls inside of you, they're twisted. They have all the hatred in the world swirling around and boiling inside of them. Why?" Sam inquired.
"Don't you get it? Those you once loved, they're in heaven. They despise what you've become. The beast you've become." Dean growled.
"You're evil. You can feel it. Can't you?" Sunny clenched her hands into fists. "You are not meant for this earth! You are not meant to be here."
The Behemoth let out a scream so shrill that all four of them doubled down in pain.
"I AM ANGER, FEAR, AND REVENGE. YOU KNOW, SAM WINCHESTER. You remember revenge, don't you? You too, Dean. You remember the feeling of revenge? For the demon that killed your mommy? Were you no different than me? Were you?! FEAR? YOU REMEMBER FEAR DON'T YOU, SUNNY? Your parents were so fearful of me that they moved COUNTRIES. They WERE SO SCARED AS I CRUSHED THEIR BONES AND DEVOURED THEIR SOULS. THEY WERE SO SCARED."
"Shut up." Sunny spat. "SHUT UP. YOU ARE A MONSTER. You are scared and weak. You are too scared to accept what you are. You are a killer. You are the very thing you would have despised if you were human. YOU ARE NOT HUMAN. You are the BEHEMOTH! At the End of Days, God would command the Behemoth and the Leviathan to battle to the death, then a feast of their flesh would be served to the righteous. THE RIGHTEOUS MAN COULD DEVOUR YOU. YOU ARE SO FAKE AND SO HARMLESS that you don't even realise what the hell you are. A god damn monster."
The Behemoth stopped- and with a wave of air, the Behemoth transformed back into a young woman. Theresa. Theresa began crying.
"Please don't hurt me! I've been so lost..." She sobbed. Sunny stepped over the line of fire, taking her bloodied knife in her hand and growling.
"Go to bed, bitch." Sunny shouted, taking the knife and placing it on the woman's heart. She drove it into the heart, but not completely.
"This is for my parents, my sisters and my brothers."
Sunny took a deep breath, pushing the knife the rest of the way into the Behemoth's heart.
The Behemoth let out a large cry before disappearing into a rush of shadows.
Sam continued down the hallway, yanking a fire extinguisher off of the wall and spraying it over the fire. Dean stepped over, picking up Jo from the ground and holding her in his arms.
"Come on!" He shouted. "We need to get her some help."
Without any protest, the four of them began sprinting the way they came in, desperation on their faces.
