" It'll be just like old times. "

"Oh no." Jo breathed out, drying the dish as Dean passed it to her. "Did you see that?"
Dean chuckled to himself. "Seems like your room is taken tonight..." He teased. Jo nudged Dean, her cheeks going bright red.
"Damn..." She mumbled, putting the dried plates away.
"You're welcome to stay in my room." Dean hinted. Jo turned around, suddenly becoming aware of how close Dean was. She stood with her back against the counter and he pushed her against it, his hands placed on her hips. Dean moved his face closer to hers, close enough to feel her breath.
"It'll be just like old times."
He took the fact that she wasn't pushing him away as a yes, grazing his lips on hers. Jo moved her head, laughing.
"You know what..." She snorted, placing her hands on Dean's, which were on her hips. She took them in hers, prying them off her body and dropping them by his side.
"I think I'll take the couch."
Dean laughed as well. He didn't feel defeated, in fact he felt comfortable enough by Jo not to feel insulted.
"Come on, you take my bed. I'll take the couch." Dean insisted. Jo smiled, shaking her head and making her way back into the living room.
"Too kind, Dean, too kind. I have to deny the temptation though. The couch is fine for me."
Dean watched as she plopped down onto the couch.
"At least let me get you some blankets or something..." Dean suggested. Jo looked up at him, biting her lip.
"Alright. Go. Go." she waved him away.
He put his hands up in the air as to say 'I surrender'. Dean disappeared down the hallway, briefly stopping in front of the room Sunny and Sam were in to make an inappropriate movement. Jo rolled her eyes, propping her feet up on the coffee table and sighing.

In a matter of moments, Dean came back, placing a few blankets and a pillow on the couch. Jo ran her fingers along the television remote.
As Dean went to leave for his own bedroom, Jo stopped, turning her head.
"Dean? Where do you think you're going?" She questioned. Dean raised a brow.
"Huh?"
Jo patted the spot on the couch next to her, clicking on the television.
"Aren't you going to watch at least one movie with me? It would be the gentlemanly thing to do..."
Dean smiled, flopping down on the couch next to Jo. He took the blanket, spreading it out over the two of them and resting his feet on the coffee table just as Jo.
Jo rested her head on his shoulder, flicking through the channels.
"Now this..." she breathed out, feeling him shift under her weight to get more comfortable. "Feels more like it."
