" Do what you gotta do but when it comes to it, shoot first, think later. "
"So before we go after a coven of angry witches, what do we need to know?" Sam asked, looking back at Bobby and the girls sitting in the back of the Impala. Bobby sat sandwiched in between Sunny and Jo. He normally liked to ride in his own truck but the boys assured him it would be easier with just the one getaway car.
"They're called witches of Somnium. They don't do the usual; hex bags, curses, petty spells. These guys can be more dangerous if you don't know better. They use illusion. When you think that them casting a spell would cast a spell, it gives them all the power it needs to cast a spell." Sunny explained.
Jo nodded. "It's hard to resist, especially since yesterday what we saw was a weaker and younger witch. These ones will be older and more powerful. It won't be easy."
Dean made a face, turning a left on the road.
"So what do we do? We just keep telling ourselves that it isn't real?" He questioned. Bobby nodded.
"Tell yourselves it aint real, think of a brick wall- anything that does the trick." Bobby barked.
Sunny nodded her head. "He's right. Do what you gotta do but when it comes to it, shoot first, think later." She instructed.
"That thing you had yesterday, Jo. You said you had a mirror? How do we do that?" Sam piped, looking back at the sisters from the passengers side.
"An old friend of ours got into witchcraft. She made me this," Jo reached into her pocket, fishing out a stone and tossing it to Sam.
"It's a moonstone- but see how the outside shell looks like a mirror? It acts as a repel against their magic. When they go to make us hack out our lungs, makes them hack theirs out too."
Sam nodded his head, analysing the object in awe.
"Nerd." Dean mumbled under his breath.
"Mind if we take it for this hunt?" Sam asked, ignoring his brother.
Jo raised her brow, looking to her sister. Sunny shrugged.
"Yeah, take it." Sunny answered.
"Thanks."
"So where are we going?" Dean asked, still keeping his eye on the road. Sunny bit her lip, tossing a map to Sam for him to show his brother.
"They could be in three places; the Eastvale Church, an abandoned warehouse in Vermont or an old school in Vermont. It's a chance." Sunny told them.
"So we'll go to one first and then go to the other two if that's not the one." Bobby suggested, moving so he wasn't so squashed in between Sunny and Jo.
"That's the thing. Whatever ones they aren't in are enchanted to no end. It's a bloody security system of illusions and alarms. You step foot in the wrong one and it'll set off a whole bunch of witchy woo woo, letting them know we're after them. They'll flee. The first place we go has got to be the place."
Bobby cursed to himself. "Then what do we do?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Sam said, glaring out of the window. "We split up."
"Wait a minute. So far, you and I are the people in this car who know crap all when it comes to these witch bitches. Bobby knows some and the sisters know all. Dunnit' sound a little weird that the strongest walk in together and the weak walk in together?" Dean protested. Bobby nodded.
"What're ya saying, Dean?" Bobby intoned.
"I'm sayin' if we're gonna split up we're gonna do it smart. Jo and I go in one place, Sunny and Sam go in the other."
"Uh excuse me, boy, but ain't you forgetting me? I ain't no third wheel. I'll take the third place myself."
"Bobby-" Jo protested. He shook his head.
"Gimme that stone. Can't hurt me as long as I've got that, right?" He glanced over to Sunny for confirmation. Sunny nodded as Sam passed Bobby the stone.
"With that, all you have to do is point and shoot. You okay with that?" Jo questioned. Bobby cocked his gun.
"Hell yeah I am."
Sunny smiled.
"So Sam and I will take the school, Bobby can take the church and Dean can go to the warehouse with Jo." She told them.
Sam looked back, making quick eye contact with Sunny and then shying away.
"Sounds good to me." He quickly replied.
"Okay..." Sunny nodded. "Let's go kick ass."
