Comrade Log #4: Soviet Coronation
March 18, 1989, Sevastopol Naval Base,
Two(2) years have passed since the ceremonial deaths of the Soviet Admiral that died in the battle against the US Navy fleet in the Pacific Ocean and the Wife, a victim of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the Soviet Union has changed along with it.
Under the rule of Mikhail Gorbachev, the Warsaw Pact, one-by-one begins to crumble as the former states decide to declare their independence to which the President of the Soviet Union under Gorbachev decides to let them do so. This is his way to turn the Soviet Union into a democratic nation much like the United States who are now slowly mending relations.
While this gave them a taste of freedom and free human rights, the Soviet Union was slowly declining, to which means, the once might Soviet Union begins to show its flaws and cracks that could all together end the entire nation.
In the Soviet state of Ukraine, in Crimea, Sevastopol Naval Base has two new ships are docked at the navy base.
Several people come, from Soviet guards, party members, sailors, commanders, and generals, all came to see the two new ships of the Soviet Navy.
Several Soviet Navy warships were also docked to greet the two new ships, this included some from the Sverdlov-class light cruisers and the Kirov-class battlecruisers who are excited for the official event that is happening right now.
The preparations are ready as other bystanders come by to see the events unfold.
Some other Soviet Admirals and sailors are expecting their new ships to be ready and more powerful as the next generation of the Soviet Navy, even if the current state of the Soviet Union is now in danger of being splitted apart from its neighbors.
Others are excited as some even heard that Velisa and Riga will be the ones who are the ones to be officially part of the ship.
They're getting their high hopes.
Meanwhile, at the Vorontsov Palace,
Riga was sleeping heavily, her hazel brown hair was so messy, even if it was messy, her white hair strand still remains as a reminder for what happened. But Riga still doesn't see through the lies of her memories to which SN Minsk sighs in relief, even though she was now under American hands. Riga yawns as she was awaken by the sound of the servants calling her to wake up.
Servant #23: Riga? Riga!
Riga: *Yawn* H-wah...
Riga: Yeah...?
Servant #23: Oh uh... Sorry to wake you up--
Riga: No! No! No! No! You didn't...
Riga: *Yawns* I have been up for hours...
Riga then proceeds to sleep again. As she drops, she regains conscious as she opens her eyes, probably staying up late causes her systems to work differently.
Riga: W-what is it...?
Servant #23: Still me Riga.
Servant #23: You need to be ready. The gates will be open, time to get ready!
Riga: Of course! Ahem...
Riga: Prepare for what?
Servant #23: Your sister's coronation day or launch day.
Riga then tries to learn the official event that is happening putting it all together and then...
Riga: My... sister's... coronation...?
Riga then looks to see her Soviet uniform, a mix between Norwegian, Russian, and Ukrainian design. Riga's eyes were immediately opened as she realizes what day it is.
She excitedly took her bath, exchanged clothes and then greeted the servants a good morning, much too the delight of the servants who are preparing for the feast later at night.
Riga giggles as she sees that the windows are beginning to open. Excited to see everyone for the first time ever since the seperation, the loss of their foster parents, and the long training between her and the Soviet Navy ships, especially SN Admiral Gorshkov.
Inside the Vorontsov Palace, Riga sings as greetings to all of the palace, now a new majestic since the ceremonial deaths of the Soviet Admiral and Wife.

While Riga was so excited for the coronation of her sister, Velisa however was unsure about this, the fear still lingers on even on an important stage in her life.
Velisa looks at the pictures of her foster father, the Soviet Admiral, being called and honoured by many of the Communist Party and all of the Soviet Union.
She then takes his medals, thinking of what she would look like with all of those ranks and medals around her. She takes out her gloves and begins to say the words her father once told her about her powers.
Conceal. Don't feel.
Put on a show.
Make one wrong move and everyone will know.
Her fear then shows as her ice powers froze her foster father's medals and ranks. She returns it as she hopes that the event will end shortly as she fears her powers might scare the people around her or worse, giving the Soviet Union opportunities to counter the problems of its current state and rule.
A contrast between sisters, happiness and fear, joyful and serious, but that might be the cause of the seperation after all those years.
Velisa then ordered the opening of the gates. Riga arrives at the gates excitedly as several guests have come to see what has become of the adopted sisters and the palace itself. A little similarities to the days of the Russian Empire.
Riga greets them as the others greet them back while Velisa watches at the incoming crowds of guests.
It couldn't get much worse when both of them will be having the ceremony at the Sevastopol Naval Base.
Riga dances outside of the palace, she happily sings with all her energy in greeting the incoming guests and newcomers. She was unaware that she was suppose to take by car to which the Chauffeurs immediately chased after her.
Chauffeur #1: Riga! Over here!
Riga: Huh?! Oh! Oopsy!
Chauffeur #2: We are delighted that you are happy, but you also need to focus.
Chauffeur #2: Now come along, we'll take you to Sevastopol at sharp speed!
Riga: Okay.
The Chauffeurs then escorted her to the car, bringing her to the Navy Base. Velisa then followed suit as they arrived at the Navy Base, hearing the sound of bells and Soviet music echoing to celebrate this event.
Soviet Coronation - Soviet Ship Launch Day, Sevastopol Naval Base
At the navy base, hundreds of people came to see the ceremony. The Soviet sailors arrived in bands, saluting for the Soviet Admirals and generals, and the Soviet Anthem playing in the background.
Everyone sat down and watched for the coronation and launch day of their newest ships for the Soviet Navy. Velisa and Riga stand at the front, with the Northern Souls along with them.
Nikolayevich Chernavin, the new Fleet Admiral of the Soviet Navy, puts papakha. Although she was female, thus she's suppose to wear a kokoshnik, it was the Soviet Navy's traditions as what the Northern Souls have told.
The Fleet Admiral then showed Velisa the ranks and new achievements that will entitle her as the Soviet Navy's newest ship.
When Velisa proceeds to take them...
Nikolayevich Chernavin: *Ahem*
Nikolayevich Chernavin: Our comrade.
Nikolayevich Chernavin: The gloves.
Velisa's fear then begins to rise up again, the fear of making such a mistake will end horribly for all who was there. She shivers in fear as she takes off her gloves. She then takes the ranks and achievements carefully while she breathes in and out with Riga not noticing it.
Nikolayevich Chernavin's Speech for Launch Day
"Today, we are all gathered here today to celebrate a huge success for the Soviet Motherland in our promising state of Ukraine and Crimea."
"Here in Sevastopol, we all welcomed the two newest ships, one that can help in our expectations in protecting our motherland's waters from the enemy on either the West or the East."
"So now, we are all here to cheer and honour, our newest ships!"
"Добро пожаловать! Velisa as SN Pyotr Velikiy! Riga as SN Admiral Kuznetsov!"
Velisa now sees that her achievements and ranks begin to froze, along with her clothes, just as the Fleet Admiral finishes his speech, she immediately places it at her uniform, with Riga followed suit.
The people then cheered their names and clapped at them. The Northern Souls can only cry, seeing how much they've changed.
Nikolayevich Chernavin: Well then, let's see the new ships!
Just then, the new ships have arrived. With both Velisa and Riga shocked on what their official vessels would have looked like.
Velisa as SN Pyotr Velikiy, the 4th sister ship to the Kirov-class battlecruisers.
Riga as SN Admiral Kuznetsov, the Soviet Navy's newest aircraft carrier. Expected to be more powerful than the Kiev-class.
Both SN Kirov and SN Admiral Gorshkov smiled and cried seeing the newest ships now held for the adopted daughters. But even so, Velisa and Riga are no longer sisters in ships, they're now even seperated. Seperated since their childhood and now, seperated as seperate classes of ships.
Velisa receives her rank, to which means, "battlecruiser" or "heavy nuclear-powered guided-missile cruiser". Beside her, Riga then receives the rank of "aircraft carrier" or "heavy aircraft cruiser".
Riga doesn't mind the new changes, but Velisa knew, she wanted to get close to Riga again, but their class and type of ship even seperates them more.
And with that, the Soviet Coronation or Launch Day has officially ended. With Velisa and Riga now titled on their official Soviet Navy names. With the two ships as their vessels now in sight, the process of their final construction and commissioning them are on their way.
In the meantime, the guests are excited as they all went to the Vorontsov Palace, where a huge party, in honour to celebrate the two newest ships was held.
