October 21, 1976, Crimean Coast,

In the dark-cold night outside of view from the walls of the gulag, a small city-state planted on its mountains was illuminted by the stars of the night sky.

The stars dance as they formed several constellations, telling stories to its people on the state below. The land changes into farm plains to rugged mountains. The mountains of Crimea are located in the southern side of Ukraine. The nation at this time was under the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), mainly, Ukraine's name was similar to the USSR but was different as it means in Ukranian, (Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic).

Standing in the foot of the Crimean Mountains near the town of Alupka, Crimea. Though thought that Crimea is an independent country, but it was mostly under Ukraine's territory. The structure stands as one of the oldest and largest palaces in Crimea, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions on Crimea's southern coast. The majestic view of it at night reflects from the dark waters of the Black Sea.

Here, the structure stands with the glory of its past, still surviving in the rule of the Soviet Union.

The castle, it was named...

The Vorontsov Palace or the Alupka Palace.

The majestic palace was built between 1828 and 1848 for the Russian Prince Mikhail Semyonovich Vorontsov as what the palace is called under his name. The palace was built for the prince to use it as his personal summer residence.

The palace was designed in a loose interpretation of the English Renaissance revival style by English architect Edward Blore and his assistant William Hunt. The palace is a hybrid of several architectural styles in different parts of the world, but faithful to none. Among those styles are elements of Scottish Baronial, Indo-Saracenic Revival Architecture, and Gothic Revival architecture.

The English architect Edward Blore had designed many buildings in Great Britain, he was then later particularly well known for completing the design of the Buckingham Palace in London.

When the palace was completed, it was visited by many members of the Russian Empire's elite ruling class; a great number of these vastly wealthy nobles were so taken with the palace and its seaboard site that they were moved to create their own summer retreats in the Crimea. 

On the following century, it was visited by the members of the Imperial Family, including the Tsar himself. But since the fall of the Russian Empire and the rise of the Soviet Union, the castle lay as just a tourist attraction for Soviet members of the Communist party in both Russia and Ukraine.

The palace's role as a tourist attraction ends in 1965. The palace was given to a Soviet Admiral and his wife as a reward for their loyalty for the Soviet Union and their Navy. The palace under their new owners went to an extensive restoration before officially claiming it their new home.

Other uses for the palace under the Soviet Admiral is it being an event's, meeting place, and a Soviet Navy outpost in the Black Sea.

The reasons could be that most Soviet members at the high ranks have feared Turkey's presence due to it as one of NATO's members and it formerly has American nuclear missiles back in 1962. So using the palace as an outpost in disguise could work.

The identities of the Soviet Admiral and his wife are left unnamed as they are considered classified by the party and navy. This is to protect them from any Western Spies with possibilities like dressing as palace servants inside the Crimean palace. The only information that is taken light through extensive research about their lives is that, they didn't have biological children.

Evidences of not having any children related by blood are supported by surviving hospital documents in Pripyat, Ukraine. Tracing their family life, it is highly possible that they adopt two young girls at an orphanage in the lower-side of Ukraine.

It is said that they're sisters...

In a calm and cold night in the Vorontsov Palace, in a royal bedroom to which is a child's bedroom, a little girl was sleeping peacefully as the night sky shines from her window.

???: Velisa!

Another young girl peeks her head to the sleeping girl, calling her name. The girl has a contrasting color as the night sky, a hazel brown color. The hazel brown-haired little girl seems to be excited as she comes to the other girl's bed to wake her up.

???: Velisa!

???: Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!

The other girl who her sleeping was disturbed by her sister was annoyed at first, replying to her.

???: Mmmm~ Riga, back to sleep...

It seems to be, that the girl who was sleeping who her hair was white and silver as snow than any blonde in existent was named Velisa and the hazel brown-haired girl was named Riga. It seems that they're sisters.

Riga: *Sigh* 

Riga: I just can't Velisa!

Riga: The sky's awake and I'm awake.

Riga: I'm bored and I want to play!

Velisa: Oh Riga.

Velisa proceeds to shove Riga off her bed.

Velisa: Then play by yourself.

Velisa: You have so many toys in our toybox.

Velisa then proceeds to sleep, smiling a bit. As it was fun to have her little sister disturbing her for such a request at late at night.

Riga, being shoved was a bit unhappy, pouting before she thought of a good idea. 

She then jumps back to Velisa as she whispers in Velisa's ear.

Riga: *whisper* Do you want to build a snowman? *whisper*

Velisa opens her eyes as she smiles knowing what does Riga want.

Within seconds, both sisters ran out of the bedroom with Riga pulling Velisa excitedly as Velisa tries to quiet her voice to not alert their parents of their act at night.

Riga: Come on! Come on! Come on!

Velisa: Wait! Shhhh! Shhh!

They then arrived at the ballroom, Riga was excited while Velisa closes the door. Both giggled and laughed as the night sky beams through, like a spotlight seen in those theatres around the world.'

Riga then says.

Riga: Use your magic! I wanna see your magic!

Velisa: Okay! Just let me...

Velisa moves her hands as sparkles of snow and light illuminated to which it forms a small snowball.

Riga was so astonished and says, "Wow."

Velisa: Ready?

Riga nods excitedly as Velisa releases the snowball to the roof of the ballroom. As it reaches, the snowball explodes, sending down a incoming blanket of magical snow falling down.

Riga jumps and cheers.

Riga: This is amazing!

She runs around, feeling the cold touch of Velisa's magical snow.

Velisa: Wanna see something cool?

Velisa: Watch this!

Velisa stomps her slipper to the floor, causing it to freeze, creating a huge ice rink, Riga moves from the slippery surface of her sister's ice magic.

They then played with snow, creating several shapes and forms. Some are snowmen and some are in the forms of ships.

In such a shocking shape, Velisa made a ship that looks American and the sticks used as gun turrets. They looked at Riga before Velisa added coal to the bridge as its eyes. The ship looks nothing accurate but really looks American.

Velisa: Hello!

Velisa changes her voice to act as the American ship.

Velisa: I'm MISSOURI and I like to be your friend!

Riga smiles and claps before hugging the battleship.

Riga: I love to be your friend MISSOURI!

They then played with the battleship, almost making a mock battle with other snow ships that Velisa made. They're having the best time of their lives as they slid across and around the ice rink in the ballroom.

They laughed, cheered, and smile together, playing games such as hide-and-seek, creating slides, and jumping to snow, making angels as the night sky illuminates along with their excitement and joy in the lone palace.

As Riga jumps, Velisa makes more platforms, a jumping game.

Velisa: Hang on.

Riga: Landed!

She jumps higher making the platform standing higher.

Riga: Again! Catch me!

Velisa then sees an error as her snow pillars are now higher to which it could be dangerous for Riga if she make the jump that could hurt her.

Velisa: Wait!

Velisa: Slow down Riga!

Velisa: Ahhh!

Velisa then slips in her own ice rink to which she stumbles before she saw Riga jumping at the last pillar.

Riga: Cannonball!!!

Riga jumped as what Velisa had feared. Desperate to save her, she tries to make a mountain of snow to land her safely, but it didn't end well.

Velisa: RIGA!!!

Velisa's magic ended up hitting Riga's head to which Riga immediately felt a sharp pain before falling into unconsciousness.

Riga: Ahhck!

Riga landed safely because of the snow, but she was accidentally hit by Velisa. Shocked and worried, Velisa ran to her, holding her. She tries to wake her up but she then watches as a section of Riga's hazel brown hair had been turned to white, like Velisa's to which worries her.

Velisa couldn't believe that she hurt her sister by accident, she immediately calls for her parents. Hugging her sister tightly to which caused fear to affect her powers.

Her fear caused ice to spread messily, nearly freezing the entire ballroom.

Velisa: It's okay Riga.

Riga: I got you.

The doors then opened widely, revealing the Soviet Admiral and his wife, both shocked and horrified to see their adopted daugthers in trouble.

S. Admiral: О, нет. Velisa what have you done?!

Wife: Riga! О, нет! О, нет!

S. Admiral: Your powers are getting out of hand!

Wife: Your sister!

Velisa: It was an accident...

Velisa: I'm sorry... Riga.

The Wife carried Riga who was shocked that she had gotten unusual cold temperature almost as if she was...

Wife: О, нет. She's cold as ice!

S. Admiral: There's no time to weep! We need to seek immediate help!

Wife: But where?

The Soviet Admiral then called his subordinates to call for his car, ordering to bring him and the family to a navy base in Crimea, near their home.

The subordinates knew this and immediately, they took the family immediately, but they didn't realized that Velisa's power came along with it, sending a trail of ice along the Crimean highway to which those who are awake late at night have seen a trail of ice left behind by the Soviet Admiral's adopted eldest daughter.

Then, they passed by a heavily armed road filled with artillery and forts of defenses placed just in case of enemies in sight. Passing by chain-link fences, the car moves in with Soviet guards seeing the trail of ice.

The car then passed the sign to which says...
