Steve did not hesitate.
He threw Nightwing off of him and ran straight towards Robin. 

Shield and sword clashed together and Nightwing joined the fight.

"Sam! Could use some assistants!" Steve yelled through the ear mic. 

"Help yourself!" The so called Red Robin was on top of Sam, 30 feet in the air. Red decided this was a good time to take out his own set of wings.

"You think you're the only one who could fly!" Red Robin slammed right into Sam and landed right on top of the machine that makes Sam's wings work. Red Robin had no problem taking out his staff and slamming it into the battery pack.

"Shit!" Both fell straight into the sidewalk causing a mini explosion. That got a lot of peoples attention. Sam didn't see Red Robin anywhere, but saw his staff. He picked that up, seeing that it was the only weapon that can hurt these guys. They always seem to outrun bullets.

"Rodgers, I think it's time we leave" Sam said running to Steve, who was still occupied with Robin and Nightwing. Sam immediately took on Robin.

"Not until we get them to where they need to be" Steve said. Blocking a kick from Nightwing. Before Sam could say anything else, a red helmet was thrown to them. Nightwing and Robin stopped whatever they were doing and ran. Steve and Sam didn't.

And the explosion happened. 

It was a good thing that Nat had good timing with getting up. She pushed the two out of the way. It took a few seconds but the rouges got up and saw a figure in the smoke.

"Next time you don't see my brother anywhere. Find him"  Red Hood walked towards them with guns in both hands.

"Wheres Wanda?" Steve said, agitated. 

"Second thing: don't assume I haven't dealt with bitches that have powers that include telekinesis, hypnosis, and energy projection."

"Third thing: Never take my staff" Red Robin jumped from behind of where Red Hood was and landed straight on Sam and kicking him in the face. Steve ran straight to Red Hood. Nightwing ran to Natasha.

"I'll find the witch!" Robin yelled.

Red Hood led Steve into a building that was still under construction.

"So this is the great Captain America huh? I have to admit, you remind me of someone."

"Enough with the small talk. We know why you're here" Steve said in his Captain America voice. He usually says this so the bad guy can gloat about their evil plan but Red Hood just laughed. He kept laughing, he even dropped one of his guns.

"I-I would wipe the tears from my eyes but then that would give away the secret identity wouldn't it? Look pal, I'm more of a shoot first, ask questions later but let me tell you now, whoever told you we were bad, is wrong."

"And why should I believe you?"

"Uhh, because we're going easy on you duh, and as my associate said, we're not here to cause trouble. So how about you call off your posse and we all can have a cup of tea and discuss this in a more formal matter." Steve actually considered it, but then he saw Red Hood slip something out of his sleeve.

"But then again, you did attack us first." He pressed the button and ran. At least a dozen red dots started to go on.

"Catch you on the flip side Wonder Woman!" Red Hood started to run to a part of the building that had a massive hole. Steve did that as well.

Both jumped out of the now exploding building. Red Hood jumped to another building, crashing through the window. Steve wasn't so lucky. He landed flat on his back on the street. There was silence for a minute.....

"HOOD! WHAT THE HELL!"

"I WAS DOING WHAT HAD TO BE DONE!"

"WHAT HAD TO BE DONE?! YOU COULD'VE KILLED SOMEONE!"

"THIS IS WHY NIGHTWING SAID TO NOT LEAVE THE BASE! WHY DON'T YOU EVER LISTEN?!"

"YOU'RE ONE TO TALK DEMON SPAWN!"

"ENOUGH!!" Both Nightwing and Wanda yelled at the same time.

"Oh look, the bitch, I'm sorry, witch is back." Wanda threw Red Hood to the side...which he deserved. Before anything else could happen, sirens were heard.

"This is our cue to leave Steve" Sam said to Steve who looked like he thrown like a rag doll.

"Steve we're surrounded" Nat ran to Steve. And it was true. They were surrounded. The Rouges and the batfam had nowhere to go. 

But the bats had one more trick up there sleeve. 

All four of them pulled out huge grenades and threw them to floor, creating the thickest smoke ever seen.

"This is our cue to leave now!" Red Robin said. Wanda took off the lid of a sewer and all the rouges went in. Steve looked up from above, seeing no signs of the people they fought before.

The rouges were currently walking in a sewer. Nat used her sticks to glow the way.

"Who were those guys?" Sam said, thinking aloud.

"Not sure, but they helped us escape." Steve said.

"Did they say anything useful that can help us trace them. They had to let us go for a reason. Wanda, see anything in their heads?" Nat asked, hoping she had something useful.

"Barely. It was like they were trained to resist mind control. But in the Red Hood's mind I saw a man with green hair and white skin holding a crowbar. That was about it before he knocked me unconscious. He said his name though. It's Jason" Wanda was technically telling the truth. She just left out other details.

"Alright then. Steve, you were with him the most, did he tell you anything?"

"Just said that we were fighting the wrong guys. Typical. But he also called me Wonder Woman, whatever that means."

"Wait, remember when he explosion went off and the little one was fighting with the Hood? He said something about a base."

"You don't think-"

"Stark"

The batfam quickly went back to the base and changed back into their clothing. And covered their bruises with makeup.

"Stupid, reckless, dangerous, irresponsible. I mean, what would Bruce think about this?" Dick said while pacing in Jason's room.

"The old man isn't here so....."

"Jay, seriously? You caused the police and the FBI to come to our little fight. Do you realize that we could get sent to prison and never get back home? I mean we're lucky enough to have the equipment needed to get us back home" Tim said.

"I agree with Drake. But what is important is that someone sent those people after us." Damian said.

"Well it has to be the scientist, but who is he?" Dick said.

"Not sure" 

The door blasted wide open. The batfam was ready for a fight but then saw Peter. The fam wanted to ask how Peter was here so fast, since they asked FRIDAY where Peter was and said he left at least two hours ago.

"Peter? What's wrong?" Dick asked Peter, who had the most panicked expression on his face.

"You have to see the news"

Peter, the four brothers, Tony, and the rest of the Avengers watched the news about the four mysterious figures fighting the rouge Avengers.

"You are positive that nothing else came through the portal?" Tony asked the four.

"No, well we hope not." Dick said. Tony didn't believe him for one second. He knew something was up with the four.

"Wait, rewind it" Damian said to Tony. Tony complied and re winded  it.

"There. What is that?" The screen zoomed in on the figure. It showed a flash of red and blue. Peter and Tony looked at each other as if they were having a silent talk.

"Wait, re wind that once more" Rhodey asked.

"I don't understand why I have to do-" Tony saw everyone's face. He rolled his eyes. He re-winded it to when Nightwing was battling it out with Captain America. Tony stopped it and zoomed in on the figure.

In the corner of the screen you could see a person wearing and owl mask.
