"Guys, move it! What are you doing? This is an emergency patient! If you guys are scared of lots of blood, then you should've chose another job! Go, go, go! Move!" I yelled as the nurses pushed the stretcher towards the ER.

"Doctor Shiomi, what do we do? Doctor Yuigahama's the only surgery expert we have and he's busy saving another patient's life. What do we do?!" Doctor Yoshioka panicked.

"Doctor Yoshioka, don't panic. You've been under Yuigahama for years, you can do this, Yoshioka." I said as I placed my hands on his shoulders then pushed him inside the ER before the nurses closed the doors.

After the situation was calmed down and we saved the patient, I returned to my office to finish my work.

I was pretty much stressed by all the extra load I was given. All the physicians took early shifts this week and I'm the only one who's certified to continue their work so I have more things to fix and think about than usual.

After being problematic about all my work, I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." I said as I continued writing some information that I needed to record under each patient's book.

"Good evening, Doctor Shiomi. You have a delivery." A nurse said as she handed me a bouquet of flowers.

"Thank you. Would that be all?" I asked.

"Yes, Doctor. I'll be taking my leave now." The nurse replied.

"Alright. Thanks for bringing this all the way to my office." I said as she bowed then walked out.

I sighed at the sight of the flowers and put them inside my desk vase.

"So, it's white irises this time... They symbolize purity.. Seriously, what is this Iori trying to say?" I asked myself then shrugged the thought and finished my workload for the day before going back to the residence.

When I arrived at the residence, I saw the living room light on. It's probably Tsubaki or Azusa studying their script or Masaomi and Ukyo-san chatting with beer.

I went closer to the stairs to see who was there. To my surprise, it was Yuusuke.

I went downstairs and walked to the dining table.

"Hey, staying up late?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh, uhm, welcome home, Haru-san. Yeah, I just can't figure out what to do about this report." He said as he took off his earphones.

"So you're listening to a recording, right? And you have to write down a summary?" I asked.

"Nope. I have to summarize it and improve some speeches that weren't used properly." He said.

"Oh. That should be easy. Well, actually the summarizing part isn't, but.. you should be able to point out the misused words and stuff like that, right?" I asked.

"Yeah, but the recording is in a Kansai dialect." He said.

"Yikes. That's complicated. I know a bit of Kansai. Let me help you." I said as I sat down.

"But you just came home from work. I can't let you get even more tired." He said.

"It's alright. I'll be down in a moment. I'll just go change." I said as I stood up then went to my room.

After changing and freshening up, I helped Yuusuke with his homework.

"Thank you so much, Haru-san. If there's anything I can do for you, please just tell me. I will pay back the favor." He said.

"No problem, Yuusuke, anytime. Sure, I'll take some of your time if I need help. Now go back to your room, it's late and you still have classes tomorrow." I said.

"Yes, Haru-san. Good night." He said as he cleaned up his things on the dining table.

"Good night, Yuusuke." I replied as I went on ahead to the stairs and to my room.

A Week Later...

"What in the world do you mean by almost all the doctors took their leave?!?" I yelled into my phone.

"S-S-Sorry, Doctor Shiomi! But it's true! You have to come in today!" Yoshioka said.

"But what about my records—.. you know what, okay. I'll be there in two hours." I said then hung up and went back inside.

So, today's actually my day off, but apparently a lot of doctors took their leave today, and that means I have to manage their jobs.

"Hey, Ha-chan! Wanna drive me to work and buy me breakfast?" Kaname-san asked.

"Hi, Kaname-san. Sorry, but no. You're not a student anymore, you are an independent adult." I said then passed him by since I knew that he was teasing me.

"Hehe. I guess I better luck next time." He said then left for his work.

I then went downstairs to see if anyone was free for the day.

"Hey, guys." I said as I sat down on the dining table.

"Hi, Haruna!" Tsubaki greeted.

"I was wondering if any of you would like to come with me to work today. You see, I really need an assistant, just for today.-"

"I'll go! My classes got canceled today!" Yuusuke immediately answered.

"Okay. After breakfast, get ready so we can head to the hospital and I teach you the ropes of my workplace." I said with a smile as I grabbed my spoon and started eating my curry.

So, as planned, after having breakfast and getting ready, we headed to the hospital.

"Good morning, Doctor Shiomi!" The staff greeted me as I entered.

"Good morning! I'm really busy today, so please just check my attendance for me! Thanks!" I bid then hurried to my office with Yuusuke trailing behind me.

"So, here we are. My office." I said as I opened the door and gestured for him to enter.

"I have one simple task for you. Come here." I said as I went over to my desk and brought out some pencils, pens, record books, files, and reports.

"I want you to copy these into each notebook that it is assigned to. That's it. I might not be here most of the time, but I'll visit if I can and I'll be back by lunch and break time." I said.

"So, I have to finish all of it?" He asked.

"Only what you can understand. Some of the records were kinda squiggly since I was really sleepy when I was writing them. You can leave those unreadable texts to me. Now, sit. You've got a long day ahead." I said as I pulled out my office chair then continued to explain.

"So the washroom is over there. If I'm not here by 12 pm, you should go on and eat first over there at that rectangular shaped table, and if any deliveries come, just sign it and place it on that coffee table." I instructed as I gestured to each place and piece of furniture that I was referring to.

"Okay, got it. Anything else?" He asked.

"Not really. I'm sure you can manage, right?" I asked.

"Mhm. You can go and attend to patients now, Haru-san. I got this." Yuusuke said with a reassuring smile.

"Thanks, Yuusuke. See ya later." I bid then rushed out.

A couple of hours later..

Yuusuke's PoV

I just had my lunch three hours ago. It's two o'clock and Haru-san hasn't returned yet. I wonder why.

Just then, a nurse bursted out of the office.

"Excuse me, sir, but Doctor Shiomi needs help." He said.

"O-Okay, please show me the way." I said as I followed him.

Haruna's PoV

"Why won't this stupid door budge?!?" I yelled as I pulled the knobs of the two doors.

(A/N: You know, those double doors in laboratories. I can't really describe them, but I hope you guys get it.)

"Haru-san!"

"Yuusuke? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I heard you needed help! I'm getting you out of there!" He yelled as he kicked the door.

"It's no use! Maybe even if three of you were kicking, nothing would still happen!" I yelled.

"Let's do it together!" He yelled as he looked at me, eye to eye.

Yuusuke..

"I'll kick the door on my right and you pull the door on your right, okay? Let's do this!" He yelled the kicked the door.

I pulled the other door with all the remaining strength I had from pulling and pulling a while ago.

A few moments later, the door finally budged at Yuusuke's nth kick.

"Yuusuke-"

"Haru-san!" He said then hugged me.

"Y-Yuusuke..?" I questioned.

"Thank goodness, you're alright." He said as he tightened his embrace.

I just stood there and cried.

"Thank you,.. Yuusuke..."
