3: New Art Teacher, New Face
The next day, the students over heard that they had a new teacher in the school. A art teacher. That made Arts and Crafters happy. A art teacher in Here School sounded great to everyone. And not just any teacher. She use o be Baldi's student years ago and was Principal's daughter, Emily Thing.
Wait! Principal has a daughter??? I never knew he had a wife or a girlfriend.
Player was walking down the hall with Playtime and Beans as they head to their new class with First Prize and Arts and Crafters behind them.
"This sounds so cool, Principal's daughter is going to be our Art Teacher," Playtime smiled as she skipped down the hallway.
"Funny, I thought you would be Principal's daughter," Player told her.
"That's what everyone thinks," she giggled, "it must be the hair."
They got to their new classroom and Player opened the door.
There stood a young woman with white hair, blue highlights halfway down her long hair. She wore a nice formal fall short dress, yet appropriate, outfit. She didn't wear high heels like Miss Pomp their English Teacher, but more of flat dress shoes. Her skin pure white like a ghost, but was not albino.
"Well, good morning, class. I am Miss Thing, you can call me Miss Emily." The Art Teacher smiled.
"Good morning, Miss Emily," the students chimed up at her.
Miss Emily smiled at the students, but looked at two empty desks. She then checked her clipboard on her desk and looked over. She was checking if everyone was here. Of course someone would be late. Bully.
"Has anyone seen...Bully?" Miss Emily asked.
"He's probably late," Playtime said, "he always is."
Miss Emily sighed and the second bell rang indicating first period had started. She went to close the door, but a small had stopped her and walked in.
"Bully, I presume?" Miss Emily frowned at the boy.
"Yeah, who's talking?" Bully said in an annoying tone.
"I am. Emily Thing, your art teacher. But you will call me by respect, Miss Emily."
All the students were shocked by her tone.
"Or what? Beat me with a tool of some kind?" Bully asked.
Miss Emily stopped. She assumed this question was because of Baldi's behavior towards them. She sighed and shook her head, "no, Bully. Three strike rule. One is a verbal warning. Second, verbal warning and extra homework, and finally, I will sent you to my father. The principal. Made my self clear? Because you were also late. But this I just a warning."
He then nodded, "Yes, Miss Emily."
She then smiled, but a reassuring one and walked up to her desk. She then gave each one of the students a pencil and worksheet. The worksheet was questions for them to tell about themselves to her so she could get to know them.
"If anything is too personal, you can just leave it blank," she smiled, "it's just for me to get to know you all."
Everyone then worked on their assignments and were very quiet.
Player wrote his answers on his worksheet. All of them seem very easy. Until he came one that hit him.
Tell me something that happened to you that hit you very hard and how you overcome that feeling?
Player gulped. He didn't feel comfortable writing that. All about Angellica. And he still hadn't overcome it. He still felt he failed her.
"Player?"
He jumped feeling a hand on his shoulder and noticed Emily looking at him concerned, "are you alright?"
"Y-yeah...just thinking."
"Just checking, and don't worry, there's no grade on this." She reassured him.
"Thank you, Miss Emily." Player smiled back.
She patted his shoulder and walked back to her desk watching all the students. Player then looked back at the question. He then decided to write something simple.
I lost my cat once. She was stuck in a tree, but I managed to muster the courage to save her. So I climbed up the tree and helped her down.
That sounded cheesy, but it was simple enough.
This will do for now...
