A few days later...

Rin's P.O.V.

I was dropping Yukio off at school. I've caught up on sleep and can act like a normal human being now. And not a zombie. We were in the car and had just pulled up to the school.

"Alright, we're here." I said as I stopped the car. And Yukio unbuckled his seat belt.

"See you later." Yukio said with a little pout in his voice as he went to open the car door. I know him, he's thinking about something and probably doesn't want to talk about it.

"What's wrong? You need to talk to me." I said before Yukio sat back in the car seat.

"It's just that you worked yourself so much you passed out again. You promised it wouldn't happen again."

"Okay...but how long did I keep that promise?"

"Months."

"So, was I least trying?"

"Yes."

"I might not always be able to keep a promise, but I'll try my hardest to keep it for as long as I can. Alright?"

"Alright."

"Anything else you need to talk about?"

"Not really. Are you still off work today?"

"Yep. Both my bosses said I still need to rest. I'll be with Shima today, we'll just be hanging around."

"Okay, I have to go now. I can't be late for school." He said as he started to open the door.

"Have a good day. I love you."

"Love you too." He said before closing the door. I warmly smiled. Something about saying 'I love you' have some sort of magic to it. A little girl with blond hair, a little pin in her hair to hold up her bangs, green eyes, and in a school uniform and had on a back pack, came and walked next to Yukio. They were talking about something. She must be his friend. I'm happy that he has friends.

Then I drove out of the school and went to where Shima said we would meet up.
