Prologue

"Magnus," Percy says as Annabeth's cousin walks into a cafe. "Glad you could make it."

"Of course I would," Magnus says with a smirk. "It sounded pretty important."

"I'll cut to the chase," Percy said. "I need to speak with Odin. I've been banished from the Greco-Roman Pantheons. And I have nowhere else to go except the Egyptians and the Norse."

"So why me?" Magnus asked.

"Because Odin may be the only one who can help me," Percy said. "I have been having these... these memory flashes. I've already talked to Lethe, Styx, and Hades before being banished from my home pantheon but I still don't know what they mean."

"And since Odin is the All-Father, you wanted to speak with him," Magnus said. "I'll see what I can do, in the meantime, enjoy Washington."

Magnus then vanished and Percy sighed. He was getting really tired of the memories and wanted to know more about what he was seeing. The only way for that to happen is for Odin to help him.

That night

"Hello Mr. Jackson," an old man with white hair and an eyepatch said as he appeared in Percy's hotel room. "Magnus told me you wanted to speak with me?"

"Lord Odin," Percy said bowing, which honestly surprised the old man. "I need your help."

Odin looked at the disgraced demigod bowing at him. Using his all-sight, Odin found what he was looking for. The All-Father looked pleased that this mortal, this Demigod, would change the Pantheons of the world for the better.

"You may stand Perseus," Odin said. "I have a story to tell you."

Percy stood up and looked at Odin.

"In the beginning," Odin began, waving his hand and a crystal screen appeared in front of the demigod. "There was a different world than the one we live in. In this world, there were two groups fighting for peace. One wanted to bring it by force while the other wanted to trust the people to make the choice for peace. These two groups were known as the Templar Order and the Assassin Brotherhood."

Odin went on to explain the war between them. And what they were fighting over: the Pieces of Eden.

"But what does that have to do with me?" Percy asked.

"A man," Odin began. "Far older than the universe came to me one day and said that a child born of the eldest three would one day seek my guidance. He told me that he will have the blood of the sea flowing through him. That his loyalty will know no bounds. He said that his soul would be the reincarnation of a man named-"

"Edward Kenway," Percy finished the sentence. "These memory flashes are that of a past life. But why now? Why do I have these memories now?"

"The world is growing darker, Perseus," Odin said. "I heard rumors of a group that sound much like the Templars and they are growing in strength as we speak. There needs to be a group that combats them. That is your destiny, Percy Jackson."

Percy looked up at Odin and said, "I'll do it. I'll rebuild the Assassins from the ground up. But I need warriors who are not afraid to face death straight on. Think you could help me, Lord Odin?"

"I believe I can, Mr. Jackson," Odin replied.

"My name is Perseus Edward Jackson." a golden eagle flies overhead. "I was banished from my home in the Greco-Roman Pantheon." cannon fire sounds in the distance. "But now I have found my purpose thanks to a new friend." shows Odin and Magnus. "I have stepped into the shadows from the light and am now stepping back into the shadows." shows Percy wearing Edward Kenway's assassin outfit. "I am to rebuild the Assassin's Creed. This is my destiny and nothing is going to change that." shows Percy giving a kid who looks much like him and his beloved Annabeth Chase, a hug and saying something ineligible to the kid. "Welcome to the Assassin Brotherhood."
