Few days later Solomon hasn't really spoken to Lucifer after what happened and has been avoiding him entirely at this point.

But still was spending time with his daughter acting like he was fine so she wouldn't know something was up.

He really felt horrible about what happened and embarrassed. He didn't know what he was thinking. To think That maybe Lucifer really did like him.

He didn't understand why it hurt so much to realize he didn't. He couldn't explain it.

Anyway tonight they were at the casino and Solomon lost sight of MJ and decided to check upstairs for her so he went into the elevator and as the doors were about to close Lucifer walked in and both seemed surprised to see each other.

And as the doors shut Solomon stood on one side of the elevator while Lucifer stood on the other.
Both facing away from each other not saying a word until Lucifer said.

Lucifer : I'm assuming you are looking for MJ.... she's with Asmo and they both are on the top floor"

Solomon :....good to know....."

Lucifer : .....can we talk?"

Solomon : no"

Lucifer : I just wa-!?

Suddenly the elevator stopped and a red light turned on.

Solomon : well that's a problem....."

Lucifer : ......."

Solomon : something wr-!?

Lucifer : shut up!....."

Solomon : are you afraid of elevators? Really? The big bad Lucifer is scared to be stuck in an e-

Lucifer : I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU IF YOU DO NOT SHUT UP!"

Solomon : ....so if I jump what would ha-

Lucifer : DON'T YOU DARE!"

Solomon then sat down and said.

Solomon : well eventually someone will come fix it"

Lucifer : ....this is not how I'm dying"

Solomon : yeah kinda embarrassing if this is what takes you out."

Solomon then looked at his phone and saw no signal on it and said.

Solomon :.....well this is fun....."

Solomon then just sat there facing away as they waited.

Eventually Lucifer sat down and minutes started going by and Solomon noticed Lucifer was just sitting there resting his head on his knees and taking deep breaths.

And really started to see Lucifer was not doing good and actually seemed nervous and afraid but was keeping himself together but even then he could tell.

Solomon : you're this bothered?"

Lucifer : I....I'm not...."

Solomon : can I ask why?"

Lucifer : .....no...."

Solomon just looked at him trying to figure out why Lucifer would be like this. Then it hit him. This was probably bringing up other things and wasn't exactly about being afraid of elevators.

He then scooted over and said.

Solomon : MJ is such a handful. She wanted to come here to test her luck

Which is funny to think about. What's on the top floor?"

Lucifer : .....a party....."

Solomon : remember that one party up there? On new years?"

Lucifer :.....you fell off the roof...."

Solomon : and you saved me"

Lucifer : should of let you fall for being an idiot....."

Solomon : right....it was a fun night besides that"

Lucifer : .......what are you doing?"

Solomon : trying to keep your mind off of what's happening."

Lucifer :....can I ask you something?"

Solomon : .... about what happened?.... I guess so"

Lucifer : .....why do you have feelings for me?"

Solomon :..... better question....how couldn't I? ......you did so much for me even before this....

When I'm with you.....I feel happy......it might sound corny but also when I'm with you I feel at home.

I think for once everything will be alright......never met someone who acts the way you do with me. Who would literally pull me out of hell.

It would be a shame to lose someone like you and that is what scares me......I don't want to lose that....."

Lucifer : ......."

Solomon just looked away from him not sure what else to say. And Lucifer wasn't sure what to think about this.

But then to Solomon's surprised Lucifer suddenly kissed him and Solomon wasn't sure what to do but started kissing him back.

Solomon : heh...... now this isn't what I was expecting but I'm not c-

Lucifer: shut up......"

Lucifer then pushed him down on the floor and started kissing him again as he was on top of him.

A few hours later about 10 the elevator finally started working and went to the top floor. And as the doors finally opened Satan Asmo and MJ were standing there and saw Solomon sitting on the floor playing a game on his phone and Lucifer looking like he was about to snap his neck from the music.

Solomon : hey it opened!"

MJ : you guys were stuck in there the whole time!?"

Satan : how long has it been?"

Asmo : 10 hours."

Solomon: I'm surprised he didn't kill me this whole time"

Lucifer : ......I'm still thinking about it......"

Solomon : funny thing about this is. This is the only way down Lucifer which m-

Lucifer : no I'm not doing this again"

Lucifer the stood up and started walking away towards the balcony in his demon form.

MJ: is he going to do what I think he is?"

Satan : jump off the roof? Yes"

Asmo : be careful!"

And with no hesitation Lucifer just walked off and they saw him drop but then fly away.

Solomon : .....wish he took me with him....."

The next day at the house of lamentation Satan was in his room wrapping bandages around his arms as MJ walked in.

MJ : hey wh- are you okay!?"

Satan : yeah....just a potion gone wrong.... what did you want?"

MJ : I need you to go with me to the bookstore"

Satan : right I'll be down in a minute"

MJ : okay"

After this she left
And Satan looked at his arms
that were almost black like being burned and bleeding.

Satan : ......"
