"Lady Tsukiko does my mother and father know about this." I said looking at her. "I've talked with them recently and I've told them about our houses situation." Tsukiko said. "Then why don't you tell me." I said. "Ever since the passing of my husband I have been having a hard time to do the duties of being a part of the 72 pillars." Tsukiko said. "So if we combine houses this could help you including with the marriage of your daughter." I said to which she nodded.

"I've tried many suitors for my daughter but she turned most of them down due to their arrogance or thinking that she is just a trophy." Tsukiko said. "So she wants a husband that'll treat her right." I said as she nodded. "Her father thought she would possibly find a good husband in the future but after his passing and without a father figure she felt hopeless." Tsukiko said. "I will come visit your estate after school tomorrow and meet your daughter and ask for her view about this marriage." I said. "I thank you (y/n)-sama." Tsukiko said. "Please call me (y/n) lady Tsukiko." I said as she nodded and left with her maid.

"Well that was something boss." Ban said. "Yeah let's clean up and call it a night lots of things to do tomorrow." I said as everyone nodded as we called it a night.

-The next day-

It was another day as we were in class and ban was still at home since he didn't have to teach until noon. Then issei told me about how kiba was acting strange on how he reacted when he saw a sword in an old scrap book photo. "And this was yesterday." I said looking at him. "Yeah even after when we were hunting a stray he felt out of it then after he left without a word." Issei said. "Do you have the picture." I said as he showed it on his phone i a closer look on inspection no doubt it was a holy sword. "Well." Issei said. "It is judging by it no doubt even how it was crafted no ordinary black smith would do this but it doesn't look very real to the original." I said. "The original." Issei said. "You know about the legend of king arthur right." I said looking at him. "Yeah about them and Excalibur why." Issei said. "That sword in the background is nothing but a fake." I said. "How would you know." Issei said. "Because even if I was born a devil a devil must know all enemies tactics and I've read too much as a kid." I said. "Even so if you do come against one be careful." I added to which issei nodded.

-Timeskip-

It was after school and I was walking with everyone to the school gate. "So we're meeting them." Yukari said. "Yes we'll go from the house to there." I said. "So we're heading to this place to discuss what." Ban said. "This is about the arranged marriage and their houses' situation." I said as we got to the house. "Everyone get changed and ready I was given info about the Shion household being a Devil Fox household." I added. "Devil fox you mean kitsune." Yuki said. "Yes but they are no relation to the leader of the yokai faction." I said.

I walked upstairs and the meeting of my soon to be wife. 'Question is what to wear.' I thought to myself going through my closet. Maybe I have something that'll fit the atmosphere of their household. 'Wait I had that kimono I wore when father and mother took me to visit Yasaka a year ago.' I thought as I changed into it as I looked into the mirror.

'It still fits.' I thought to myself as I walked downstairs. "Didn't know boss was into traditional Japanese wear." Ban said. "He only wore this when he visit lady yasaka in kyoto." Yuki said. "The sandals take a bit to get used too but they're fine." I said as I used my magic circle to teleport us to the Shion household.

Third person pov

(Y/n) and the rest of peerage appeared before the Shion house hold. It had a very traditional Japanese feel to it like a palace or castle like the ones in kyoto. "Ahh (y/n) it's good to see you." Tsukiko said. "It's good to see you lady Tsukiko." (Y/n) bowed as the rest of his peerage followed in suit. "Why don't I take you inside to see her." Tsukiko said as (y/n) nodded following Tsukiko into the building.

They were all inside walking through seeing how traditional it was. (Y/n) was looking at the decor and the photos on the wall seeing a peculiar man in the family photo.

"That must be your husband my condolences." (Y/n) said. "Thank you (y/n)." Tsukiko said as they walked to the main room. "Musashi I brought someone." Tsukiko said as (y/n) saw the twitch of fox ears seeing her look up along with someone sleeping on her lap.

"(Y/n) Phoenix of the Phoenix household." (Y/n) said with a bow. "Musashi Shion you must be my suitor." Musashi said. "Glad to make your acquaintance your mother told me that the previous suitors weren't up to par." (Y/n) said. "They were arrogant nobles but saying your from the Phoenix household they are the most arrogant but you I can't put my finger on it." Musashi said. "The only type of kitsune I've met was lady yasaka of the yokai faction." (Y/n) said. "Yasaka that's my aunt." Musashi said. "I see may I ask who is the one sleeping on your lap." (Y/n) asked looking at the sleepy one. "This is my younger sister Shinano the previous suitors didn't like Shinano for her sleepy habits thinking it was disrespectful. I often ask them questions but knowing most noble male devils they would flaunt their wives as if they're some trophy." Musashi said. "If I were your husband I wouldn't flaunt you like a trophy I would treat you with the utmost respect and be a good husband." (Y/n) said as musashi was looking to see if there were any ulterior motives (y/n) had.

She looked into his mind seeing his thoughts that of nothing lewd or anything ulterior. Musashi saw that (y/n) was serious about this. "So what do you say musashi." He said holding his hand out. Musashi's mother and (y/n) peerage were curious of what her answer would be. "Very well I'll be under your care (y/n) Phoenix." Musashi said grasping (y/n)'s hand. Her sister then began to rub her eyes. "Nee-chan." Shinano said in a sleepy tone as she saw (y/n). "Shinano this is my fiancée." Musashi said as Shinano was scared if he was gonna be like the previous suitors who disrespected her. "Don't worry Shinano I won't be like them." (Y/n) reassured her as his voice comforted her showing that he's not scary. "Since you are my soon to be husband I wish we spend sometime alone come we shall head to my room." Musashi said taking Shinano with her. "Are you gonna be okay boss." Ban said. "Yes I will I'll call if anything happens for now standby yuki take temporary lead while I'm gone." (Y/n) said. "Yes (y/n)." She said as (y/n) left them following musashi.

Readers pov

I was following musashi who had Shinano with her as two maids opened her room. "Quite the grand bedroom." I said as we entered with the doors close behind us. "Shall we sit on the bed." Musashi said as I nodded. "Tell me (y/n) what makes you different from your brother and the other members of the Phoenix family." Musashi said. "Well I didn't really take from my brother who was very arrogant at time but whom I still considered a sibling. I took more of my mothers traits of being more calm and level head rather than arrogant." I said putting my hands on my lap. "You talk a lot about your siblings having a close bond with them." Musashi said stroking shinanos hair. "I have an older and younger sibling I want to be a good role model for her." I said. "You reminded me of myself I want to be a good role model for Shinano and be there for her ever since the passing of our father she had the closest bond to." Musashi said. "So we both have something in common." I said as musashi nodded I saw Shinano crawl across the bed putting her head on my lap. "Seems she has taking a liking to you." Musashi giggles. "I see." I said stroking shinano's hair. "When you said she gets sleepy easily." I said looking down at Shinano. "Shinano is narcoleptic which she tends to fall asleep easily during normal hours of the day." Musashi said explaining her sisters condition. "This is honestly the first time Shinano opens up to anyone." Musashi said as I look at shinanos calm sleepy face. "Tell me (y/n) why is it that you are the next in line for the Phoenix family I thought it would be your brother." Musashi said. "Well he's recovering from a fight from the red dragon emperor and is probably having trauma from her hit with a cross and holy water. My parents and sister thought it would be a good idea." I said explaining my situation of being the next heir.

I heard a knock on the door to musashi's room. "It's open." Musashi said as a maid along with yuki came in with her. "Yuki is there something wrong." I said looking at her. "The devil king was called for an emergency due to a leader class fallen angel and the ritual of the seven shards of a certain sword." Yuki said. "He won't be able to make it which will take him time due to his duties. We'll go and handle this who called for him." I asked. "The queen of Gremory." Yuki said. "Well I should leave til we meet again my soon to be bride." I said getting up and placing shinano's head on a pillow. I placed a kiss on musashi's lips and waved.

Musashi pov

"Well I should leave til we meet again my soon to be bride." (Y/n) said giving me a kiss as he waved leaving me blushing and my sister still asleep. '(Y/n) Phoenix you've really caught my interest I do hope to see you again.' I thought to myself as I went to sleep with Shinano.
