Another mundane day in a cozy cul-de-sac still under construction. It was the beginning of summer.

There were murmurs of kids running around and playing outside. Most kids hadn't known this, but a new family was moving in today.

A pair of outcast kids plan for their very first scam. They were consistently of a boy named Eddy, who had charming chubby checks only a grandmother couldn't resist pinching and a boy named Ed, who had the widest eyes and biggest smile of anyone.

"Alright Ed. You stand there looking pretty while I bring in the crowd. When they hand over the quarters, I will give you the signal.", said Eddy.

Ed, not listening, began to eat a comically impossible to swallow object. Before Eddy noticed, another kid walked up to him.

"A customer!", exclaimed Eddy.

In front of him was a boy with a large hat. That was the moment where those boys became a trio of best friends that continued to scam others for a long time.
