The boys felt bad for causing Redd so many problems and decided to try and be quiet for the most part. The hard part is getting Ed to be quiet with them.

The boys still had to be ready for school on top of Redd showing up to school for his test.

Ed and Eddy were jabbing each other in the side in silence and they put t their shoes on. Redd had finished clean the kitchen and looked more terrifying than the first time the boys met him.

Redd texted Remmy to get him some black coffee and to dump two cups of sugar plus eight shots of energy drink into the biggest travel cup he could find.

The boys convinced him they could walk the rest of the way to school and shooed him a way.

"Quit babying us and go already!", said Eddy as he stomped a head.

Double D looked at Eddy's retreating figure with Ed following him and back at the tired Redd. Redd smoothed his face out and gave Double D a hug.

"I love you, Baby Cakes. Be careful of mud puddles and I packed you extra sandwiches in case you want to share.", Redd said softly.

Double D smiled," I love you too, and I will! Thank you, Redd.", Double D waved at Redd as he trotted a way.

Redd waved back and watched his brother go. Then he turned, dropped all softness he had and walked a way with heavy footsteps; and muttered a string of dark curses.

It was relieving sigh of terrified classmates and schoolmates avoiding him as if he just came back with blood on his hands. Technically he did, but that's because he cut his hands clean the kitchen and had to bandage them.

In his favorite spot just off to the side of the hall, Remmy leaned against the lockers with an impassive expression and the coffee Redd requested.

"Remmy, my man! I knew I could could on you.", said Redd in the lightest tone he could for someone not his brother, or his brother's friends, while in a most terrible state.

Remmy rolled his eyes like he loved to do so. Disgust marring his expression as Redd downed his hot coffee.

"You know you are going to crash, right? It will only delay the enviable.", remarked Remmy.

"Hopefully long enough to do my test.", said Redd.

The school was odd- his absences and tartiness didn't impact him much as long as he continued to meet certain requirements.

Late for class? Have high grades.

Don't come to class? Ace the tests and final.

Don't participate in gym? Have an athletic club or exempt.

Come to school at least to show face or do the homework in advance.

Redd wasn't sure this was a good school or a bad one, regardless he wasn't going to let Double D attend. There are better schools for him.

Razz liked to think she was a nice girl and was more patient than others, she had good friends that shared her interests and generally well liked.

However, she had a problem.

There was a guy- not that way- who transferred into her school three years ago. He was rough, mean, and worst of all smart.

He had the brains and the bronze, but not the attitude, basically.

He would snap at others and make rude remarks- at least to her and her friends.

He wouldn't bother with anyone else; why can't be her? What makes her and her friends worth the ridicule?

She thinks back to when they first met. She was minding her own business when she saw him.

He had a nasty glare and deep frown. She thought about wither or not to approach him, after all she doesn't like to judge.

Then it appeared he was in her class. He sat at the front first, but that just gave the teacher an excuse to pick on him.

This teacher wasn't like because of how old fashion and strict they were. This teacher likes to single out students that don't fit the mold of smart, quiet, and attentive.

Which is weird because he does fit that mold but not in the usual way. He is smart but also snarky, he is quiet but he always has a glare in his eye, he is attentive but only when he feels like it.

The teacher looked at his posture, clothes, and tone; they then began to make it their job to get him to "straighten up".

They constantly asked him to answer question despite other people raising their hands. They would make him pass out the papers and take up the papers.

They tried to make him a teacher's pet. It did not end well as one day......

He came into class covered in blood and bruises.

The teacher reprehended him for getting into a fight. The next day, that teacher was on-leave.

There were rumors about why that was and that he did something to the teacher. It lead to wild speculation and the majority of the student body to avoid him. They weren't sure what he could do and who he knew.

She tried to ignore it as it had nothing to do with her.

That was until he began to poke fun at her and rudely criticizing her work. He began to act like he was better than her in everything she did.

Spelling bee championship for the school? He won first place before dropping out of regionals.

Quiz bowl competition? He stole her spot on the team last minute.

The last red velvet cake at lunch while she was on her period? He slapped it out of her hands and mockingly apologized.

She even had to accept the apology since there were so many people watching.

He doesn't even eat in the cafeteria or get food from there! He shouldn't have been there!

"I will never forget or forgive....", she muttered to her self.

"Thinking about me?", he said; startling her.

She turned to glare at him. He easy grin ever present.

"No, why would you think that? The world doesn't revolve around you!", she hissed.

"I could say the same about you. The cake an accident, I swear! I apologized, didn't I?", he leaned over to look at his friend Rohnny.

Rohnny smirked whiling looking her in the eyes, "You sure did! She also accepted that heartfelt apology too!"

She huffed before turning back to her locker. She will have vengeance.

One day....

"Sure, one day~", the insufferable boy mimicked.

She groaned as they walked a way. She really needed to stop talking out loud.

"Do you think she'll ever realize we're helping her?", questioned Rohnny.

"She doesn't even realize I'm her friend, or that I've been talking to her mom! She'll never figure it out without help.", said Redd.

"You think so?", Rohnny then put his ear to his bat for a moment.

"Vlank says you should invite her to babysit Mini Redd so you can go to that interview you've been stressing over.", said Rohnny.

"Ha, baby cakes is too shy around strangers especially girls, and besides I have a reputation of being a complete xss to up hold.", Redd said as he walked over to his locker.

Rohnny faked a scandalous gasp and covered Vlank's "ears". Redd grinned.

"Such abhorrent language! I have no choice but to report you to mini Redd!", said Rohnny in a dramatic manner.

"Oh, no no! I promise to reframe from such vulgarity, please! Don't tell baby cakes!", said Redd in a deadpan voice.

They laugh for a minute before Redd opened his locker to find a love letter. All pleasantries vanish.

Quietly, Redd and Rohnny looked at each other. Rohnny turned around to "look at his phone".

Redd read the letter before sighing. He rips up the letter before trashing it in paper shredder in his locker.

"Want to go smoke?", asked Rohnny.

"Nah, I have to go talk to Remmy and get another coffee.", said Redd.

"Don't you mean get coffee from Remmy?", questioned Rohnny.

"I can multitask.", replied Redd.

Redd closed his locker, locked it, then walked a way. Rohnny stayed at the locker until after the bell.

The moment he left, a figure was at the locker trying to open it.

"What'cha doing there?", said Rohnny as he came back.

The figure ran and Rohnny let them.
