Kevedd idea, Rev! Edd is Edd's older brother or cousin that loves him very much. He doesn't want Edd to feel unloved and doesn't want him to know he's a bully. He hates Kevin, even though it doesn't seem like he wants to be more than friends with Edd (Maybe he does, but it's not obvious.). Rev! Kevin doesn't have any kin relation to Kevin and is currently somewhere else. Probably off on an internship out of country and will come back after next summer.

The Edds' have just moved into town and so far no one in the high school knows Rev! Edd (Redd) has a cute little brother or cousin that's in the sixth grade.

Could be a good balance of cute and silly while being really serious at times.

Maybe after Rev! Kevin (Revin?) comes back, and Edd starts to see him as a mentor figure that he starts to interact with Redd more as he picks him up from his house or out right chaperoning him in an overprotective nature.

Something like that.

Some serious things that could happen:

Redd feels like it's his fault why Edd wears his hat and also wears a hat to make him feel better and shower him with even more love to maybe ease the guilt. Maybe he took innocent little Edd a way to be his guardian figure, because whatever reason.

Or they do live Edd's parents that don't pay attention to him and it falls on Redd to take care of him.
