"Uhm about that―" Taehyung gave it a thought. Namjoon was handsome, kind, funny, smart and the most important thing, his persona was top tier.

"Depends actually, I never dated a boy and he is my ideal type. So won't mind." Taehyung just gave an idea which he of course wasn't serious about. Of course Namjoon is his ideal type but still it was too early to say he will date the other.

"Ooh, got it babe, you interested." Hoseok pinched Taehyung's cheek softly to which he rolled his eyes.

"Don't be delusional hyung, he totally isn't serious about this." Jeongguk interrupted their small giggles that caused the purple haired male to knit his brows, "What's on your mind, huh?"

"What?" Jeongguk was quick to ask.

"You don't want your bro to get a nice boyfriend? Like as far as I know him, Namjoon hyung is actually a great person." Hoseok put his argument forward and Jeongguk sighed, "You guys don't know him that much."

"Guys chill. I ain't dating anyone, shh!" Taehyung cut the conversation. Both the others could only huff.

"He jelly Taehyung. I am telling you." the purple head murmured that was clearly audible to the other but partially to Jeongguk who squinted his eyes before looking away.

"What do you mean?" Taehyung whispered back.

"Probably he likes you. I might be wrong but he is acting weird."

"It's been only a day he broke up with his girlfriend. Are you crazy?" Taehyung through gritted teeth mumbled and Hoseok shrugged his shoulders, "Oh right, I forgot. LOL."

"You can't say that word, please."

"I see, you are very kind to Taehyung." Hoseok said with a mouthful of Snickers in his mouth, "Sometimes, be kind to us yeah?"

Namjoon nodded then smiled looking at Taehyung who was smiling back at him, his chin resting on the cusp of his palm. Jeongguk noticed that and sighed before pulling Taehyung's shoulder back causing him to look at him.

"Hmm?"

"Can we go to the new ice cream shop opened last week?" Jeongguk asked smiling that kinda lit the other's face.

"If you are going to pay then of course!"

"Okay, I'mma pay." Jeongguk though out of nothing actually asked Taehyung to go with him and also agreed on paying but he didn't have any money at the moment. That chain decorating Taehyung's neck was the reason and he didn't even join his part-time job this week. Now he was totally baffled.

Yoongi hyung can lend me some money.

Jeongguk thought and mentally berated himself for doing things without thinking, without thinking about consequences.

Of course. If he did think, he wouldn't have dated Violet on the first place.

"I wanna join too!" Hoseok exclaimed.

"No!" Jeongguk in that exact same tone replied and Hoseok pulled both his middle fingers up, "Fucker!"

Talking about the witch, the people were blessed, more like cursed with her presence. She was slowly making ber way towards the table. Her head hanging low as she reached there.

"Jeongguk―" she almost whispered.

The raven head who was busy talking with Hoseok now looked at her and immediately frowned, "Why the fuck are you here?"

"I am so sorry." she apologized with the lowest tone she could manage at the moment.

"I don't wanna hear anything. Please leave." Jeongguk scoffed not sparing her even a single glance, "Just leave."

Violet didn't speak anymore and decided to leave but also didn't forget to glare at Taehyung who laughed.

"Okay but how did you two get together? I mean after she ditched my classmate, Violet was dating Taehyung as far as I know." Namjoon asked, not intending to make Jeongguk uncomfortable but damn he was getting uncomfortable.

Uncomfortable of the fact that he was just a minute away from being exposed how he dated his best friend's ex girlfriend just the day after their break-up.

"It's a long story. Let's skip that today." Taehyung smiled and Namjoon nodded, "I guess, I shouldn't have asked that."

"I am sorry." Namjoon lowered his head genuinely regretting his question.

"I will just grab my books for the next class. See you later guys." Jeongguk abruptly stood up, wanting to just get away. He was genuinely regretting his decisions taken in the past but now letting some stranger (to him, Namjoon was still an outsider of the group) know about their conflicts.

Jeongguk didn't approve of that.

"Did I offend him too much?" the senior asked seeing Jeongguk leaving the cafeteria and never felt this bad.

"I didn't mean to hurt your best friend, Taehyung, I swear."

"Hey, it's fine. It's just― Violet triggers us a lot honestly. She totally messed things up a lot." Taehyung told the partial truth, not wanting the other to judge his best friend.

The whole remaining day, Jeongguk stayed pretty quite that made Taehyung sad. He knew his bestie regretted whatever he did and he will probably never do something like this ever again. He trusted Jeongguk.

They were already walking back to their dorm. The fact that Jeongguk was supposed to take the other to the ice cream parlor totally left his mind.

He was thinking about whatever happened in the cafeteria all these time.

"Gguk―" Taehyung grabbed his arm and stopped him only to pull him roughly into a strong, tight embrace, "Don't over think about the past. Just forget it."

Jeongguk buried his face in the crook of his roomie's neck, "I am so sorry. I don't what to do anymore to make you feel that I am actually sorry. How can I prove it?"

"You don't need to prove anything." the read head whispered wrapping his arms around the other's waist.

"Forget whatever he said. He didn't mean anything. He didn't want to hurt you." Jeongguk was infuriated when Taehyung was taking Namjoon's side and pushed the other though he was super careful to not hurt him in any way.

"He did it on purpose, I know it!" Jeongguk whined that sounded so cute that Taehyung giggled, "You're such a cutie, Googoo."

"I am not." Jeongguk looked away.

"Okay but Namjoon hyung said sorry."

"Of course, he is your ideal type, whatever he says, you think it's true but what if it's a trap. You don't even know him that well." Jeongguk sighed sitting on the edge of his bed.

"He is nice Gguk. You will agree too once you get to know him." Taehyung smiled settling beside his best friend when he patted the place beside him.

"Whatever it is, I don't like your Namjoon hyung."
