"Why did you call me just your friend, hmm?" Jeongguk asked emphasizing on the word 'friend' as they walk to the next class together, "Ain't I your best friend?"

"Of course you are Gguk and probably I said it by mistake." Taehyung looked over his shoulder, a small teasing smile on his lips as he lied.

"I didn't like it when you did that and I send you so many memes today. You didn't even see them. You were active." Jeongguk asked, his voice laced with annoyance, "What are you trying to do?"

"I am trying to do nothing, bruh." Taehyung rolled his eyes, "I probably didn't get a notification. I will see them and also send you tons more."

"Okay listen here." Jeongguk abruptly grabbed his best friend's wrist before he could enter the classroom, "After the classes, we going for buying bedsheets, hmm?"

"Oh my stupid coconut head? Didn't you see, I already bought the bedsheet. Yesterday me and Hobi hyung went together." Taehyung ruffled the other's hair and smiled.

"But we were supposed to go together right?" Jeongguk asked, tilting his head to which the red head smiled once again, "Yeah, I asked you first but you said you were busy so I went with him."

"Bruh it was expensive. I can't eat burgers for some days now." added Taehyung before walking in the room, Jeongguk following him behind.

"Gguk." a high pitched voice called and both the boys knew who it was.

"Hey Violet." Jeongguk smiled, but not the one he usually pulls up, he wasn't in a mood to talk to her cause Taehyung just ignored him for maybe the first time in all these years and he was totally not good at taking this.

"C'mon, here!" she patted the bench beside to which Jeongguk shook his head no, "Today, I'mma sit with Tae."

Taehyung raised his brows and turned around. He smiled and threw his arm over Jeongguk's shoulders, "Bruh, she is your girlfriend. Spend time with her, not me. We live together, we get to spend so much time together."

"Now, go!" Jeongguk was pushed ahead by his roomie but he was literally not interested as he wanted to spend some time with his bro.

"No, Violet. I'mma just sit with Tae. We got some boys' conversation to do." Jeongguk excused himself and walked ahead, ignoring Violet's constant whines and that pout on her lips, "Fuck your bro then."

Jeongguk surely heard what his girlfriend said and he just sighed as they both made their way to the second last bench, "Gguk, your girl is hella mad. Go back to her. She is probably gonna kill me."

Taehyung laughed throwing his backpack on the seat which he claimed as his, taking a brief glance at his ex and bit his bottom lip not wanting to laugh out loud.

"She can suck asses." Jeongguk mumbled and settled beside Taehyung who didn't know how to react. He was totally in a dilemma about what to feel, like he didn't know what was happening with Jeongguk.

Jeongguk was being rude the last night and now look at him, he was totally the opposite. Still he won't be changing his plans. He will be sticking to his new rules and will not let the other feel how he is still pissed because of him dating Park Violet.

"Do you really like Violet?" Jeongguk was baffled on what to reply cause he knows he didn't like Violet that much.

Or he did?

He wasn't quite sure of anything.

"I honestly don't know." Jeongguk replied shortly.

"Okay so listen, she is your girlfriend. So you should sit with her. I can clearly see that she is coming here to pick a fight." Jeongguk followed Taehyung's eyes and saw Violet walking ahead, very annoyed.

"Hey Violet." Taehyung greeted, resting his chin on the cusp of his palm, a small smile adorning his lips.

"Hi, Taehyung. I see you are doing a great job with keeping my boyfriend away from me." Violet assumed which was absolutely absurd.

"You―" Taehyung paused for a moment, "―you are impossible."

"Violet, what the fuck!" Jeongguk knitted his brows, demanding an answer, his eyes boring into hers.

The other students were investing their whole attention on the drama coming ahead while some are waiting for the teacher to arrive soon not wanting a drama at the moment.

Hoseok seemed to have a perfect timing as he entered the room and saw the tension lingering in the air around his friends in the back.

"I am girlfriend for fucks sake. You should be spending time with me." Violet half shouted, his hands on his hips which was annoying the hell outta Jeongguk.

"This is totally insane Violet. You are creating an unnecessary scene." Jeongguk walked closer and glared.

"You don't know what he is trying to do Jeongguk. He probably still likes me and trying to get you away from me." Violet from the logic his non existent brain cells could manage said and Taehyung ended up laughing hard.

"Girl, you really think you are too special but darling you in reality aren't. At least not to me." Taehyung held his pointer finger in the air to which Jeongguk's girlfriend just glared at him for the nth time.

Taehyung was kinda surprised at Park Violet's outburst but also glad that Jeongguk could see how her mentality was― cheap and disgusting.

"If my best friend is happy, I am happy you, even if it's with someone like you." Taehyung said, with the most genuine tone and Hoseok ended up clapping causing the girl to turn around for a mere second.

"What do you mean by someone like me?" Violet again focused on Taehyung, standing in front with his arms crossed over his chest, a frown on his face, mumbling a inaudible, "Fuck off!"

While the red head and Jeongguk's girlfriend was having a glaring contest, Jeongguk realized how Taehyung cared for him and always wanted the best for him.
