The Talk

Brooklyn's POV

So, I didn't get to kick Jeff Chaz's sorry little butts because Sky caught me and Josh put on those toy handcuffs on me so I wouldn't be able to get away. I have no idea why they handcuffed me, but then again they're weird and this only proves it.

"Is this really necessary?" I asked as Sky carried me on his shoulder. I had no idea where they were taking me, but with these boys anything can happen. So, if this is going to be my life for now on, I'd rather be in New York with a bowl of popcorn. But instead I have toy handcuffs, while being carried who knows where on Sky's shoulder, may I also add that he's like ten times taller than me and probably stronger too, so there's no hope of getting out anytime soon.

"Yes," Josh replied as he walked behind Sky just incase I fell or tried to get away. It also just hit me, I must be lighter then I think I am cause Sky has been carring me on his shoulder for like what? Ten minutes now? I think, who knows for sure.

"It's only been a week and you're already causing fights," Sky said with a laugh. His laugh was kinda cute if I'm being honset - wait, stop thinking that and focus on getting out of this.

"Do I wanna know what you're carrying my sister on your shoulder."

"Nick!" I exclaimed. "Can I get a little help here? They handcuffed me and now they're holding me hostage. I didn't even get a stupid phone call!"

"You have the right to remain silent," Josh said firmly. But I could tell he was trying to hold in his laugher. Man these boys are dorks, which made me realize that I am an idiot for going on a tour with a bunch of five years olds. I know what I said! "Anything you say can and will be used against you."

"I can't believe you survived seven months with these idiots," I said deadpanned. "Anyways, you gonna help me or not?"

"Nah, everything looks like it's taken care of," Nick said as he walked past us. Lucky for me there's one thing I know that will get me out of this. I might get a lecture but it's worth it if I can get out.

"Hey Sky, you know what I just realized?" I asked innocently. I am seriously hating myself for what I'm about to say.

"What's that?" he asked.

Oh, was I gonna regret saying this, but a girl gotta to what a girl gotta do. I took a deep breathe and..."You have a nice butt," I said loud enough for Nick to hear, and it seemed to work because  Nick came back and grabbed me off of Sky's shoulder, put me on his own and said, "Ok, that's enough I'll take it from here."

As Nick was walking off he turned around and then said, "Let me make this clear. No one, and I mean no one is to flirt, date, and or be alone with my little sister. You look at her the wrong way and it'll be the last time you every look  ya got that?!" with that Nick turned on his heel and walked off.

I looked up and Sky and Josh's scared and confused faces. I gave them my most innocent look and waved my hand in the cutest way possible. Maybe having an overprotective brother wasn't such a bad thing.

But I think I just made things awkward for the other boys. Err, I'll figure something out. It's not the first time this happened. Once we got to my dressing room Nick knocked on the door and asked, "You girls decent?

"C'mon in," Meredith said. Nick walked in then plopped me down on the couch. I sat up with the most innocent look I could do.

"Brooklyn Lucia Masson," he said sternly. I wrenched at my full name. Meredith and Melissa both nodded at each other and then left the room. But they did look back and gave me a sympathetic look before closing the door. As soon as I that door closed  boy, was I in trouble.

"Ok, a few ground rules I should've gone over the day you got here. There will be no flirting, dating, and or being alone with any of the guys. If it's a group then you can go, only if one of the girls and or I'm there too than you can go. You are not allowed to have one on one time with any of the guys, unless if it's Vincent or Jonathan, who are technically kids, but that's not the point. The point is you are not allowed to be alone and or go out with one of the guys. Even if it's 'just as friends' well guess what? I know what 'just friends' can turn into. Also, you are not allowed to sit next to any of the guys on travel days, unless it's a three seater than I'm putting my butt in the middle. If not and if you beat me to the bus or plane I can guarantee you that I'll be right behind the person who is sitting next to you. I want all details on every outing and half an hour cheek ups and your schedule for each day. Everywhere you go I want full details on everything, even if you go to the bathroom. There will be no secret meetings because I know when you're lying, plus everyone here isn't a good liar. You got that Brooklyn? Or do I have to repeat myself?"

"No need to repeat that, dad. But I don't think the people in China could hear you," I said sarcastically. "But, you do know I only said that so I could get away from the kidnappers, right?"

"Yeah I know, but I can't let the idiots know that," Nick said as he pointed his thumb to the door with a small smile. "But, everything I said was true."

"Do you really need full details when I go to the bathroom?" I practically whined. Then something popped into my head. "I mean, after all, what if I'm on my-"

"Ok, you should probably get changed so we can stage door I'll meet you by the door on the inside don't forget to bring a sharpie," Nick said quickly before running out. The door closed with a slam. 'Sigh' same old Nick.

After I got changed into my street clothes and grabbed my bag I walked out of the door. And I bumped into. "Oh, sorry Sky, didn't see you there," I quickly said.

"Happens to all of us," he replied. There was an awkward silence before I said, "Look, about what happened early, I only said that so I wouldn't be you're hostage anymore."

Sky laughed. "Yeah, I kinda figured that out. But one question?" there was a small pause. "Will Nick really-"

"Oh yeah," I said cutting him off. "He scared away the first boy I ever had a crush on. Long story short that boy never talked to me again."

"Wow," Sky breathed.

"I'm telling ya, he's like a helicopter parent when it comes to boys," I said as we both walked to the stage door.

"Actually the correct word would be brother, he's a helicopter brother." I tried hard not to laugh because it was sadly true. I love Nick a lot, but sometimes he's too much.

"Yeah, but if he keeps being a helicopter brother, Imma be hella mad."

"Nice word play."

I laughed, then something popped into my head, "Oh, quick warning Nick might be giving you the death glare for the next 24 hours."

"What makes you say that?" Sky asked.

"Well, one of Nick's many rules for my love life is no flirting, dating and or being alone with one of you guys unless one of the girls and or if he's there," I explained.

"So, I'm guessing you've never had a boyfriend before." I turned red with embarrassment. Not only that, but I never kissed anyone before!

"Far from it. I've been on two dates and Nick was always at a short distances. It was so embarrassing." Sky laughed as we approached the stage door. And low and behold, Nick gave Sky 'the look'.

"Good luck," I whispered before walking up to Nick. "Bumped into him as I was walking out of the dressing room and we talked about how embarrassing you are." Nick looked from me to Sky, who nodded but didn't say anything.

"You ready?" Nick asked. Wow, looks like I got off easy tonight.

"Yup," I replied.

"Got your sharpie?" My face went blank. Nick laughed and then handed me one and said, "Here, I kept extras just in case."

"Thanks. And is this really gonna be the end of me?" I asked worriedly."It's been nice knowing you," Sky and Nick said at the same time. Great....goodbye world. Sky was the first to go out, then me, and then Nick. since he wanted to 'make sure I lived to see tomorrow'. Can fansies really be that crazy? To answer that question yes, yes they can. But once the screaming was done they were really nice.

At first I didn't know what to do. I quickly watched Sky before doing what you're supposed to do at a stage door. Give me a break ok. The only thing I ever did was gymnastic competitions, dance competitions, and a few school plays under my belt.

As I approached the first fans they both screamed. I tried hard now to wench at the screams. I just stood there and smiled till they calmed down. "Hi," I said in a friendly way. "Did you enjoy the show?" In asked as I sighed their play bills.

"Yes," they both replied.

"I'm Amy, and this is Dylan."

"Nice to meet you, I'm Brooklyn, but you can call me Brook," I said. "And I guessing you two are best friends."

"Yup," they both replied.

"Cool. fun fact my best friend is also named Dylan." after that we took a picture and I moved onto the next few fans. They were all really nice, but I could do without the screaming. When I got to the end of the line the last fan practically flipped out at every single person who approached her.

"Omg, omg, omg," she said quickly. "You're Brooklyn Masson, Nick's twin sister."

"Yup, that's me," I replied while trying not to have an awkward look on my face. "Did you enjoy the show?" I sighed her play bill as I asked.

"Yes!" she practically screamed in my ear. So hard not to wrench. "It's my fourth time seeing the show. Twice on Broadway and twice on tour."

"Cool." I remembered seeing this show back in New York with some of my friends. It definitely amazing.

"Oh, I have a question for you. Who's the older twin?"

"Nick, by a minute and a half," I replied. I remember when we were younger Nick would always come up to me and say, "You know Brooky, when I was your age." and then proceed to explain what he did a minute and half ago. It drove me crazy! But what can I saw, he's my brother.
