Brooklyn's POV

Long story short. My last show for going on for Nick is tonight. I'm kinda sad. But I am so excited that Nick will finally get his butt back on stage. Anyways I'm at the mall withBen, Josh, Sky, and DeMarius because who wouldn't want to go shopping with a bunch of Newsies?

Our first stop was the apple store and Ben was looking at apple watches, while DeMarius did a weird shot of Josh. I was getting details on the 7th generation Nano because I was thinking of getting once since I have way too many songs on my phone that's taking up space. And Sky was with me.

"So, what color will you get if you get one?" Sky asked as we walked out of the store hand in hand.

"I think you know," I replied with a smirk since it's kinda obvious what my favorite color is.

"Blue," we both said at the same time. One of the top reasons why I love blue is because it always brings my eyes out. Since my eyes are a blue mix it can come out as wither grey, or just a light blue. So, I wear blue to make my eyes pop out more.

"So, Sky, how're you feeling?" DeMarius asked.

"Um...I feel good, you know. Just walking through this OUT DOOR MALL! And it's RAINING!" Sky replied loudly. Sometimes I wonder how and why I feel in love with this doof. But, he's my doof. 

"My freaking Apple watch," Josh said while putting his phone on his arm. I only rolled my eyes more. Man these guys are dorks.

"And, I'm trying to find some FOOD! which is impossible because it's RAINING!"

"Brooklyn, out of all the guys in the world you had to choose this doofus," DeMaruis said as he pointed the camera to me.

"Yeah," I said. Sky gave me a look. "But." I nudged him with me hip because I was holding my French vanilla ice coffee in my other hand. "He's my doofus."

"I love you too," Sky said as he kissed the top of me head.

"Get a room you two!" I heard Ben yell. I looked back and stuck my tongue at him.

"Out of all the girls in the world you fell for Miss Short Stack," Josh said. Sky rolled his eyes and held my hand tighter as I rested my head on his shoulder.

After that we went into a shoe store. Ben was looking at shoes, DeMauris was dancing like a happy child. Josh was doing who knows what and Sky got a hold of the camera.

"Tell everyone what we're doing today," Sky said.

"Um...we're at the mall, there's a tornado outside, so we're staying inside because we need shelter-"

Before I could finish Josh comes up from behind me and says, "We're in the middle of a state of energy , and we're scared, despite all the happiness you see around us. Watch out everybody."

"Get off of me," I said while shoving Josh off my back.

"Ice Quean," Josh retorted before walking off. Sky laughed before turning off the camera. I pulled out my phone and took a selfie and posted it to Instagram with the caption, "In the mall with my favorite boy(s)."

Anyways, I have no idea what happened after that. We walked through the store while Demarius kept on saying, "I bough it" and Josh did the same. Why did I come with these dorks. Oh yeah. To make sure they don't end up in mall jail.

Ben started dancing and then went in front of the camera and started doing a bunch of spins. "Hey Brook," Sky said while I was spinning.

"How many spins can you do without getting dizzy?"

I thought for a moment. I never really counted. "I dunno. How many do I do in Tornado?" I asked while still spinning. Ben joined in on that too btw."Because I think that's the most I ever done in one dance," I explained.

Sky shrugged. Or at least I thought he did. Idk, it's kinda hard to tell what's happening while spinning.

"Too many to count," Josh replied.

"Then there's your answer," I said while stopping before walking back to them. I took Sky's hand back into mine. His hand is so much bigger than mine. But I love it. Everything about me is ten times smaller than he is. And, I love it. He kissed the top of my head. Just as Ben stopped and walked back to us. But he was a little wobbly.

"Note to self. Leave the spinning to Brooklyn," he said as if he had one too many. Funny thing is that we're all under twenty-one so...Anyways he then said, "Brook, how do you do so many turns without feeling sick to your stomach."

I only shrugged.

"Josh, why don't you think they don't have overalls here?" I asked while giggling behind the camera. We were at America Eagle doing more shopping. Even though I like to look instead of buying. But Sky says I would look cute in this or that. But what does he know about woman's fashion.

Josh laughed and said, "Because it's not 1944." In a very weird. Yet, funny voice.

Just then we noticed that Ben was wearing the same shirt as one on the wrack. I started laughing my head off because well...I wasn't sure what he was doing. But it sure was funny. Sky tried to stop me from laughing so much, but it didn't help that he was snickering too. Man, I love my life with these losers sometimes.

The same thing happened to Josh ad he said something about firing a lady. It wasn't as funny as Ben's, but ok. I'm just surprised we haven't end up in mall jail....yet.

After getting our food we got our table. Obviously I was setting next to Sky, Josh was in front of us. Ben was next to Josh and DeMauis was next to me.

"Yo, you know who needs a hair cut? Sky needs a hair cut."

"Sky needs a hair cut," Josh repeated in a very weird voice and I'm pretty sure I lost it.

"And here we have a laughing Brooklyn."

"Shut up," I said while putting my hand on the camera. I was still laughing because these guys are a bunch of dorks. I rested my head on Sky's shoulder and he wrapped hos arm around me.

I looked at his phone and I saw he was looking at the picture I posted on Instagram. Just then something popped up on Sky's phone saying Josh had tagged him in a photo.

Sky opened it up and it was a photo from just now. In other words Josh took a picture of Sky and I in the position we're in now.

"Stalker," I said. Josh shrugged with an innocent look on his face. That's when I realized that Sky was playing with my hair. Or my extensions in this case. But it still felt nice.

After that I kinda blacked out. DeMauris sang about lemonade and Ben was eating in front of the camera.

"Get back Benjamin, stop," DuMauris said. After awhile Ben finally sat back down. But I wasn't paying that much attention because I was watching Sky and Josh play Jenga with waffle fries.

"Hard to believe you two are almost twenty and you're still playing with your food," I said deadpanned.

"Aw, c'mon Brooky, lighten up a little," Sky said with that cute smirk. "Besides you know how this works. When the tower falls the game is over."

"I wouldn't have said that if I were you," Ben said just as I quickly grabbed one of the waffle fries and stuffed in it my mouth as the tower fell.

"Brooklyn!" Sky and Josh yelled while DeMauris and Ben held in their laugher.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"I was about to win!" Sky whined.

"No you weren't," Josh said as he flicked one of the fries at Sky. But Sky caught it in his mouth so the joke was on Josh. Yup, these guys are complete dorks.

"Oh, good, you losers are descent," I said as I walked into the dressing room that had Sky, Chaz, Jeff, Nico, David, and Vincent.

"Or you could just knock," Jeff said as I sat down on the couch. I was already in costume and so were they. There was about ten minutes before the show started, so I thought, why not hang out with the dorks.

"Where's the fun in that," I replied with a smirk.

"Your dressing room has a couch too you know," David said. I think they're trying to send me a message, but ignored it.

"I know. But it's more fun in the guys' dressing room. Anything can happen and it makes for good blackmail."

"The only blackmail in here is Jeff's love of Katy Perry," Vincent said deadpanned just has Jeff turned up Hot N Cold and started dancing too it. "And his very bad dancing."

"I should be offended, but I REALLY DON'T CARE."

"Move over Jeff." I got up from the couch and stood next to him. "Let me show you how it's really done," I said just as the course came on. I started doing a old group dance, which is one of my favorites.

"And, that's how it's done," I said with a smirk. Jeff rolled his eyes before sitting down and touched up his dirt smudges.

"Just be happy you weren't playing Taylor Swift, because Brook would've really kicked your butt," Sky said. Which made me laugh. Before I could say anything it was show time. We all walked out of the dressing room and Nick stopped me and said, "Break a leg little sis."

"Thanks," I said before hugging him and quickly kissing his cheek before catching up with the others.

stage dooring

"Thank you so much," a fan said after a finished signing her play bill.

"No problem," I replied before going to the next person. Long story short this was my first time back at the stage door since that time I passed out. Even though I felt fine after a few days, the guys said I should wait a few weeks. Luckily they finally let me stage door. Even though I'm still not used to it, I love meeting fans. As I said many times before.

"OMG, it's Brooklyn Masson. Hi, I'm Lucy, I'm a huge fan, you were amazing out there," she said.

"Thank you so much. Did you enjoy the show?" I asked.

"Yes, and I love how you're going on for Nick. It's SO FREAKING CUTE!"

"I'm glad you enjoyed it becasue this was my last night going on for Nick," I replied. I've told a lot of people that tonoight was my last time going on for Nick. And though I was kinda sad, I was really happy at the same time.

When I (finally) got to the end of the line Sky was waiting for me under a lamp post. I walked up to him and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the top of my head.

"First time back at the stage door, how does it feel?" he asked.

"Tiring," I replied. It had been a long day at the mall, then there was the show, and the stage door, and now I felt like I was going to drop dead like I did after my very first show here at Newsies.

"Wanna go back to the hotel?" he asked. I nodded and Sky took me back to my room, which was luckily across from his. We said good night before a soft kiss and it was off to bed. I didn't even bother getting into my pjs because I was way too tired. To make matters worse it was a travel day tomorrow.
