A Fun Surprise

Brooklyn's POV

It was the end of another amazing show and as usual I was stage dooring. I'm not going to lie when I say that these fansies are crazy with a capital C, but some of them are really nice. I also had to admit that I was so sore from the show, even though I don't do very much, there's the fact I have like three different parts, and must always, and I mean always be ready to hop in as Katherine at any given moment. Though the boys do have it a lot harder than I do considering how much dancing and tumbling there is. Seriously, I don't know how they do this seven times a week.

Back to the stage door, it was just like any other night, but this time it would end up being the best one I ever did. I just didn't know it yet. "Thanks for coming," I said before going to the next fan. "Hi, did you enjoy the show?" I asked as I sighed the playbill.

"Well, my best friend is it in, so yes, I did enjoy it," she replied. And it was at that moment I know who it was.

"DYLAN!" I scremmed before hugging her. I'm pretty sure I was louder than anyone of the fans who were stage dooring. But I didn't care, my bestie is here and if you're a girl, then you know how loud you get when she's with her best friend since beyond forever.

"BROOKY!" Dylan screamed back.

"What're you doing here?!" I asked in shock as I pulled back from the hug. It was hard to wrap my mind around the fact that Dylan was actually here. If this is a dream, please don't wake me up.

"Did you really think I wouldn't see my bff in her first Broadway show?" she asked. "Plus the dance team is in town and I though I would kill two birds with one stone. And guess what?"

"What?" I asked.

"We're staying in the same hotel as you and you know what that means, right?"

I smiled as we both screemed, "GIRLS NIGHT!"

"Ok, a much as I want to talk I have to get back to work. Meet up in the lobby?" I asked.

"You know it." After that I want to the next fan, and the next fan and so on. I looked back and saw that Nick was talking to Dylan and acting like....like he did when we were younger. I smiled and soon enough I caught up with Sky who said, "Who was that?"

"Dylan," I replied before taking a picture with a fan. Wow, I'm getting better at this stage door stuff. "Best friend since forever. And Nick's crush since forever," I explained. Sky nodded then said, "So, some of us are going out for froyo, wanna join? Dylan is welcomed to come along."

"That's nice of you, but I already have plans. The dance team is in town and a girls' night is long over due. I would invite you, but it's a girl thing."

"A room full of cute girls in their pj's is my kind of night," he said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. But something inside dropped when he said that. I tried to push it aside, but I couldn't stop the weird feeling that was dropping.

I continued to sign playbills, take pictures, and talk with the fans. A smile was on my face, but it was a fake one. Sky's words burned inside like a bond fire. I was stupid to think that it could happen. I mean, why would a guy like him go out with a lame girl like me? It wouldn't have worked out. Besides, this is probably just some stupid school girl crush. It has to be. I've only known the guy for what? A couple of months at the most. I shook everything off and went on signing playbills, and just told myself that I was going to have a girl's night with my old dance team, and life long friends. Really, I was fine. Nothing to wonder about at all....
