I was thinking...

Hey all of my little angels. So, um, I don't know how to start this. I'm bad at starting things. And I'm bad at getting my thoughts down on paper. So let's see how this goes! X3

(Disclaimer: I end up going deep with this X3)

But, in all seriousness, I've been thinking. What have I been thinking about? Well, as you may have noticed, but I changed my cover picture. And on that cover picture is the quote, "Throw me to the wolves and I'll return leading the pack." I'll probably end up posting another picture that says the same quote in the multimedia cause I'm weird like that, I don't know. But, I've been currently giving that quote some thought. The deeper meaning to it, I guess. Doubt what I come up with won't be super deep, or even stray from whoever came up with that quote. But, we'll see after I'm done typing all of this.

You see, wolves are stereotyped as many different things. I see them as beautiful creatures who deserve to run free in the wild; who deserve to be unharmed by humans. But, the two stereotypes I see all the time are: wolves being vicious and heartless and wolves being misunderstood. The latter kind of comes from the former, now that I think about it. But, It's true. And, depending on how you view wolves, depends on how you look at the quote.

Let's say you view wolves as the former; you see them as vicious and heartless. Then, to you, this quote probably means: Throw me to these villainous creatures, creatures who have killed more things than you can imagine. And, I will come back, the ruler of them all. I have tamed these wild beasts and they are now under my control. Cause I am all powerful . . . Yeah I think you see my point.

But then there's the latter: wolves are misunderstood. Wolves are, as I said, beautiful creatures who deserve better. Who don't deserve to be endangered and to just run free. Because, they are caring and gentle animals, who really can love. If you view wolves like this, then you may think of this quote: Throw me to these beautiful creatures. And when I return, I will be one among them. I will not rule them, but simply be among them. And when I come back leading them, you'll finally see how loving they really are. You will finally understand.

But there's another way you can view this quote with the latter stereotype. Maybe you relate to the wolf. You find yourself misunderstood and wondering, "who am I really?" Someone with this attitude may think: Throw me to the wolves, because you want to throw me out of your life. You want me gone for simple misunderstandings. For things, you think you know about me, but don't. Oh, I'll be thrown to the wolves alright. But, what you think you know about the wolves, you really don't. They aren't the vicious creatures you perceive them to be. But really, they're misunderstood. Just. Like. Me. They understand my pain. They understand what I go through every day of my life. And they're there for me. When I return, you may think I'm leading the pack. That I conquered the "wild beasts." But, in reality, I am one with them.

What one do you fall under? How do you perceive this quote? Tell me in the comments below.
