I fear the dark.

Because in them lurks the demons.

The ones I imagine, the ones I have to face alone.

Because, no one seems to see them, but me.

I fear the dark,

For the tears that fall are unseen to the world.

They mock me, they taunt me, they tell me I am alone.

And I believe them.

I fear the dark,

Because no matter how silver the blade is, the darkness shields it.

And no one stops me, because no one sees it.

Only the demons know the truth.

Now, I fear the light.

Because when I close my eyes eternally

The darkness offers me more than the light ever would.

I chose to write poem in a style that seems to be different than my other poems. I won't continue to write this way, though, it's just a one time thing.  Anyway, please vote, comment, read further and have a great day ahead!
