Wedding Flowers
"Flowers?"
"Yes flowers. If it's to be a proper wedding, there's going to have to be flowers."
"What kind?"
"I'm not sure. I'm thinking foxglove, but there is another flower that I'm rather fond of. It's strange, though. The name is just on the tip of my tongue...."
Rolf laughed. Luna always had something on the tip of her tongue. Everyone claimed his fiance was mad, and maybe she was. But he was okay with that. Who knows, maybe he was mad as well.
"It'll come to me later," she said smiling. "But right now I have to go pick up the cake."
"Pick up the cake? But didn't you do that yesterday?"
"The first one was too... let's say dull."
"Luna?" Rolf said cautiously.
"Yes Rolf?"
"What do you mean 'dull'?"
"Oh don't worry," said Luna quickly, "all I did was request for a new one. This one will be much more satisfactory."
"Alright then," said Rolf, still not fully convinced. "I'll see you later, I guess."
"I guess," Luna leaned in to kiss her future husband before disapparating.
Rolf sighed. Before now if someone had told him planning a wedding was this stressful he wouldn't have believed them. Now that he was actually getting married in three days, he couldn't wait for it to be over with.
And then there was Luna. God, did he love that woman to death, but sometimes it was like she didn't even know what was going on. It's not like everything had to be perfect, which most girls would prefer- but Luna's idea of everything was insane.
She had originally wanted to have the wedding at Hogwarts, but for a while she didn't seem to realize that it wouldn't work because it was a school. Not a chapel. Students still studied there, and having a wedding couldn't possibly work. McGonagall would never allow it.
She also wanted to make her own wedding dress, which was unfortunately was something Rolf couldn't object to. He thought he nearly had a heart attack when he thought he saw Luna carrying in bags of rainbow fabric.
Rolf sighed as he tried to get his mind to focus on the flower catalog Luna had left for him. There were a about five different flowers in particular that she had circled in red ink.
Amaryllis, Foxglove, Ageratum, Iris, and Sunflower.
Rolf glanced at each of the options before flipping to the back of the catalog to rip out the order form. He smiled to himself; he knew Luna would like his choice.

"How do I look?" Rolf said, turning to his brother and Best Man, Talon. They were standing in the spare bedroom of Luna's father's house, just moments before he and Luna were eloped.
"Horrible," Talon said. "How else?"
"Yeah, yeah," Rolf said, rolling his eyes. "I'm serious."
"Rolf, you worry too much. It's not like you'll have to impress Luna. It's not your first date. You look fine."
"It's my Wedding Day."
"More or less."
"Look, earlier I think I heard Hermione say something about trying to ward off Rita Skeeter. If she's here..."
"It won't matter. She doesn't have as nearly half the readers she did in the old days. Trust me, everything is going to be perfectly fine," Talon reassured him.
Deep down, Rolf knew there was something due to go wrong. It was a wedding. There's always some kind of catastrophe when it comes to weddings. According to Luna, she herself had been at a wedding the day You-Know-Who took over the Ministry of Magic. That wasn't a very good day for anyone.
Before Rolf could object, there was a loud screeching sound filled the room. Talon's wristwatch had just gone off in a ring of urgency.
"Oh Merlin!" Talon exclaimed, "We need to be out there now!"
Rolf and Talon both exited the room, and found their way outside to the front of the marquee in which the wedding was held. After convincing Luna not to hold the wedding at Hogwarts, they had decided to hold an outside wedding at her father's house.
Also standing near the front with Rolf and Talon, were Luna's Bridesmaids Ginny Potter and Hermione Weasley in two blazing yellow dresses. Rolf never expected either of them to wear the color, but he knew it was most likely on the request of Luna.
Around the marquee sat Luna's family and friends on the right and Rolf's own on the left. The large tent was certainly more filled up on her side than his, with her many school friends such as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Neville Longbottom, and many more smiling faces.
Rolf glanced over at the other side of the room. In the front row he found his mother, father, and many cousins. The last chair on the front row, Rolf saw his grandfather now well over one hundred, giving him a reassuring smile.
Throughout the marquee it appeared that Luna had taken it to herself to decorate it with a theme. Hangings of yellow filled the space. The bright and bubbly color that Luna loved so much. Rolf had concluded that it would probably be her favorite color if she hadn't decided that she was going to have a new color every week.
And Rolf could clearly see why she liked it. It gave off a feeling of happiness, hope, and a sensation of confidence. It made all the anxiousness in his stomach for the time feeling, fade. Here he was, Rolf Newton Scamander on his Wedding Day. He was feeling happy, for this was going to be his first(and hopefully his last) wedding. He was could feel the hope surging through his veins.
He felt as if he could do anything. He was confident in the day. So he met his grandfather's eyes and returned the smile. Rolf was aware of all the music arising from thin air and the door swinging open. He heard many gasps from the rows, and quite a few laughs.
Rolf felt everything slip away from him at once as he set eyes on Luna's dress. She was walking down the aisle with her father who was wearing robes of more shocking yellow. But no one's attention was on him.
Luna's dress was quite possibly the most horrid piece of clothing Rolf had set eyes on. It was like a giant ball gown, spangled with glittering rainbow material. And on top off her head sat a tiara of what looked like silver unicorn horns. But in her hands... she held a bouquet of yellow sunflowers.
