After Leopardsight and I ate our prey we shared tongues for a little while.

"Leopardsight?" I mew while rasping my tongue along his cheek fur.

"Mmmm?"

"Do you still have feelings for Birdlight?" I ask, pausing from grooming his black and gold cheek.

The spotted tom froze and looked off towards the nursery, clearly thinking of his answer. 'Please say no,'I beg silently.

"Birdlight and I were just really good friends,"he mews,"Seeing her with Birchleaf's kits has made me realize that I never truly has feelings for her. I was just an apprentice have a small crush on a she cat. So no I don't have feelings for her."

Relief spreads over my body like wildfire does to a forest.

"Do you still hav-"Leopardsight's mew was abruptly cut off by Dewscale.

"Hey Brokenflight! How about we start battle training tomorrow? Since it's already getting late! The warriors and apprentices need a good rest before waking up early,"she mewed, ending it with a yawn.

"I think that would be a great idea Dewscale," I agree politely with the older deputy," I will get all the apprentices to go ahead and get in their nest."

"Thank you, Brokenflight,"she purred before padding over to sit with the Riverclan warrior, Stripedfur.

"I'm sorry, Leopardsight, I have to go," I mew while padding towards the large group of Riverclan and Thundersn apprentices.

"Wait you didn't hear my question!" He jumps up.

I look back over my shoulder.

"Do you still have feelings for Hickoryblaze," he asks seriously, flicking his tail back and forth.

"No," I answer darkly.

"Good," he smirks before padding over to the warrior cat den, leaving me with my jaw dropped.
